On this episode of Healthy Mind, Healthy Life, host Avik Chakraborty talks with Lillian (Lilly) Field—entrepreneur, mentor, and founder of WombWise and the Founder Flow Accelerator—about replacing hustle culture with a cyclical, body-aligned approach to work. Lillian breaks down how women entrepreneurs can map strategy and marketing to the four phases of the menstrual cycle: vision during menstruation, planning in follicular, visibility in ovulation, and analysis in luteal. We discuss burnout signals, shifting identity from doer to leader, and practical first steps (cycle tracking, capacity design, and month-over-month optimization). Direct, actionable, and built for creators and founders who want energy, clarity, and results without the grind. About the Guest Lillian Field is the founder of WombWise and creator of the Founder Flow Accelerator. She helps women build mission-driven businesses aligned with biology, values, and seasonality—drawing from women's health, sustainable business, and systems thinking. She has built companies from a web studio to an agroforestry farm to an AI startup. Key Takeaways: Track your cycle first; data plus daily self-reflection drives better decisions. Menstruation: step back for vision, messaging clarity, and strategic direction. Follicular: convert strategy into a plan—channels, timelines, resources for 1–3 cycles. Ovulation: prioritize visibility—speaking, collaborations, interviews, and content creation. Luteal: close loops; edit, measure, and optimize campaigns before the next cycle. Shift identity from doing everything to leading; remove hats and design capacity. Consistency comes from re-choosing your agreements (e.g., Do Your Best) when hustle patterns return. Burnout is a signal, not a moral failure; align operations with biology to regain energy and creativity. In this episode, Cindy Esliger discusses how the “always on” hustle culture mindset in society is pushing us steadily towards burnout. We're running on empty, and what are we rushing towards? She explores the transformative idea of doing less, more slowly. A mindset shift towards doing what matters most with intention instead of simply working harder, faster, and longer for no good reason. How do we break free of the hustle culture habits and switch to a calmer and more sustainable approach to work? Cindy has some ideas for us. Performance-based productivity keeps us looking busy while not accomplishing much. When we constantly pressure ourselves to do more, faster, we often miss out on the ‘why'. We start believing exhaustion is the only way. But Cindy offers the radical idea that calm isn't the enemy of productivity, it's the foundation. Calm is not passive; it's powerful, creative, and strategic. Calm doesn't demand strict, overbearing control, either. Instead of clinging to rigid control and pushing ourselves harder, perhaps we should let go and show up with presence instead.Cindy shares how we can build self-trust and calm. Start small by showing up for ourselves and keeping our word. Say we'll go for a ten-minute walk after work, and then actually do it. When we can count on ourselves, we have more power. We can make better decisions on how to spend our time. Cindy reminds us that success should be sustainable and that requires doing work we enjoy at a pace that doesn't destroy us. Trust that if we pause to catch our breath, our career won't implode. It's a change in mindset to actively let go of the frantic productivity rush we're currently in. In the second half of this rich and wide-ranging conversation, Stacie and Andy unpack the often unseen tension between creative expression and strategic thinking. They dive into what it means to be a “whole-brain” artist, someone who thrives in both creative exploration and structured planning, and why that's not a contradiction but a powerful gift. Andy shares his love for storytelling structure, the metaphor of crockpots for creative timing, and the concept of having a “main band” and a “side band” to stay creatively flexible. Meanwhile, Stacie gets real about balancing artistry with business, why structure doesn't mean selling out, and how teaching became the career she never expected to love. Today on Art + Audience: Whole-brain creativity: Stacie and Andy discuss flipping between business strategy and artistic flow. Plotters vs. pantsers: The balance between creating from intuition vs. structure, and how both are essential for long-term success. In this episode of What She Did Next, Kehla sits down with Hope Pedraza—Functional Practitioner, Human Design & Gene Keys Mentor, podcast host, and 3/5 Manifesting Generator—for a deeply vulnerable and empowering conversation about rebuilding from rock bottom and aligning health, business, and life through your energetic blueprint. Hope shares how running two successful businesses from a place of hustle and perfectionism led her body to total burnout—so much so that lab results revealed her adrenals were “in the toilet.” When the pandemic hit, her world crumbled further: she faced a $300K lawsuit, had to file for bankruptcy, and watched her brick-and-mortar business collapse while pregnant and sick. But this wasn't the end—it was the portal. Through Human Design and Gene Keys, Hope restructured her business, reclaimed her energy, and healed years of self-sacrifice and disordered patterns. Together, she and Kehla explore how her undefined root center, 55th Gene Key (victimization to freedom), and 3/5 profile shaped her transformation from rigidity to flow—and how she now guides powerhouse women to stop bypassing their bodies and honor their unique energetic design for sustainable success.

Jeannette talks about achieving sustainable success without succumbing to burnout, candidly discussing the glorification of hustle culture and the misconception that burnout is a badge of honour Jeannette explains why: It's essential to recognise burnout as a warning sign that indicates the need for a new approach to success Sustainable success involves knowing when to take action and when to pause. Discernment, which is a leadership superpower, helps align actions with strategic goals rather than reacting out of stress. Instead of adhering to a hustle culture that glorifies constant work, adopt a rhythm that includes periods of rest and recovery. Successful individuals plan for rest just as they plan for work, allowing for a more balanced approach to productivity. A compelling vision must be supported by vitality, which includes physical energy, mental clarity, and emotional resilience Subscribe to Brave Bold Brilliant for weekly wisdom on leadership, legacy, and living boldly. Are you juggling too many different projects - and getting nowhere fast while burning out? Do you keep tweaking things behind the scenes instead of just biting the bullet and launching? And what could happen if you stopped chasing perfection and just hit “go” on your next big idea? In this week's solo episode, I share some behind the scenes action from a busy week packed with calls, podcast recordings, and, as always, big client breakthroughs. And there's one thing that keeps cropping no matter if I'm talking to clients who are launching scent spaces, struggling to control labour costs, kicking off whole franchises or refining their marketing message: Momentum creates results. Pursuing perfection delays them. You'll hear how Sean Felty is scaling his Labour Lens system by cutting back, not adding more. I explain why a single clear message is Sean's biggest advantage heading into the Hershey Expo. Then we discuss groomer Anna Pollard, who's launching a calming scent space (and following it up with a focused teeth-cleaning campaign). This episode highlights why launching new ideas even when they're not perfect is the best way to do business and gain momentum. There's no point building a beautiful ship if it never leaves the harbour. In this episode, you'll discover: One Clear Offer Wins – Why Sean's single-focus Labour Lens message stands out in a sea of software noise. Simplify to Sell – How Anna's using short, focused campaigns to upsell services without adding stress. Confidence Comes from Launching – Grande, Phil, and others had everything except momentum—until now. Marketing Isn't Magic, It's Rhythm – I share how podcast batching and focused messaging drive consistent growth. Is Your Real Problem is Pickiness – Why perfectionism is just procrastination in disguise. If you're spinning your wheels and wondering why things aren't taking off, this episode will show you what to do next (and what to stop doing). This week, I'm joined by Dr. Klaus Kleinfeld, who is the only leader to have successfully served as CEO of two Fortune 500 giants on different continents: Alcoa in the US and Siemens in Germany. With a nearly forty-year career spanning multiple industries, from established businesses to tech startups, he has advised US presidents and global leaders across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. As the founder of K2 Elevation, he invests in North American and European tech and biotech firms. And he also has a book out called Leading to Thrive. THIS EPISODE IS PERFECT FOR…anyone who wants to become a more effective leader, whether you're running a global enterprise, leading a small team, or gearing up to start your own business. Drawing on decades of experience, Klaus shares actionable insights for leading with clarity and intent in any business environment. Success isn't supposed to drain you. But when your goals don't match who you are, burnout follows. In this episode, recalibrate how you define success — so it fuels, not flattens, your momentum. You're achieving — but you're still exhausted. You're winning — but it doesn't feel like it.You're checking all the boxes — but something's still misaligned. That's not failure. It's feedback. In this episode, Julie shares a powerful shift:Burnout doesn't always come from doing too much.It often comes from doing what's no longer aligned.Explore how success gets subtly misdefined — and how to rewrite that definition through identity, not over-performance.This episode draws on Self-Determination Theory, real-life coaching moments, and founder wisdom from Tobias Lütke (Shopify) to remind you:You don't need to hustle harder. You need to come home to who you are.Today's Micro Recalibration:Write down a recent “win” — then ask:Did this move me closer to who I want to be?Or just make me look more successful to others? If it aligns — let it land.If it doesn't — get curious. What might need to shift? For leaders:If you lead a team, a family, or even just the atmosphere of a room —you're already shaping someone else's definition of success. What would shift if you helped them shape it from the inside out?If this episode gave you language you've been missing, please rate and review the show so more high-capacity humans can find it. High performers celebrate results. High Capacity Humans reinforce identity. In this episode, learn why pausing to mark progress isn't extra — it's essential because what you celebrate, you repeat. Most high performers don't celebrate. They skip the pause. They dismiss the progress. They jump to what's next. And in doing so, they miss the moment their identity was trying to shift. In this episode, Julie unpacks why celebration isn't about ego — it's about reinforcement.Through story, science, and soul-aligned wisdom, you'll discover how identity is shaped by what you pause to mark… and how skipping celebration can quietly keep you stuck in hustle mode, even when you're winning. If you've ever wondered why your progress still feels flat — or why your momentum keeps stalling — this episode will help you reframe celebration as a key part of sustainable growth. You'll hear: • Why most performance frameworks miss the identity layer • The neuroscience and psychology of celebration and memory • How a coaching couple learned to celebrate simply — and why that mattered • What Indra Nooyi did as CEO that deeply reinforced identity in her leadersToday's Micro Recalibration:Take 90 seconds today to reflect on one moment of identity-aligned progress from the past week. Even if it feels small. Especially if it feels small. Here are some ideas you can consider: • A decision you made that honored your values • A moment you slowed down instead of reacting • A conversation you had with more clarity • A boundary you held without guilt • A way you showed up that felt honest and alignedMark it.Celebrate it.Let your brain — and your body — feel the win.And if you're in a position of leadership — whether that's a team, a classroom, a family, or a community you shape:Find one moment of progress — in yourself or someone else — and name it.Pause and say: “This moment matters. Send us a textWhat separates those who merely survive from those who truly thrive? Doug Wyatt's remarkable journey from a poor country kid to a multimillion-dollar business leader offers profound insights into sustainable success.Doug opens up about his dramatic physical transformation, shedding 82 pounds and completely rebuilding his health after reaching a crisis point at age 32. Rather than quick fixes, he reveals how small, consistent changes—from quitting soda to establishing a morning workout routine—created compounding results that eventually transformed every area of his life. The conversation takes a fascinating turn as Doug shares his time-optimization strategy that allows him to consume four hours of personal development content before most people have finished their first cup of coffee. By listening at 2x speed during his morning routine, he's able to continuously feed his mind while preparing his body for peak performance.Perhaps most compelling is Doug's vulnerable discussion about overcoming childhood trauma and how his father's suicide became a catalyst for his passion to improve human communication. This emotional depth grounds his business philosophy in something far more meaningful than profit margins—though his methods have proven extraordinarily effective at building profitable enterprises.Through practical frameworks like his "reticular activating system" concept, Doug demonstrates how our beliefs filter our perception of reality, affecting everything from our health choices to our sales outcomes. He challenges listeners to examine where they might be surrendering their power by blaming external circumstances rather than focusing on internal solutions.Whether you're struggling with health challenges, business growth plateaus, or relationship difficulties, this episode delivers actionable wisdom that integrates the spiritual, physical, and practical dimensions of creating a truly successful life. As Doug powerfully states, "You cannot have results and excuses at the same time." Today we're diving into something that has truly changed the way I operate in both business and life: boundaries. But not just any boundaries — sacred ones that help you stay aligned with your purpose and energy. Trust me, learning to honor this practice has been life-giving, and I want to share what's worked for me. Setting boundaries isn't about pushing others away, it's about respecting your values by evaluating opportunities, learning to say ‘no' and making sure your calendar aligns with your energy. Action Plan: - Misalignment has a cost: Staying in the wrong situations drains your energy and purpose. - Sacred boundaries protect what matters: They're about honoring your truth, not pushing people away. - Watch for warning signs: Dread, resentment, and overcommitment signal a need for - boundaries. - Boundaries unlock magic: Saying no creates space for aligned, energizing opportunities. - Use simple boundary tools: Pause before saying ‘yes', check in with your body, and lean on your values. - Choosing yourself is powerful: Boundaries aren't selfish—they're essential for impact.
