This week's Mystery Guest Monday featured none other than iRadio's Dave Duke, who joined the show with a mission: convince the nation that Leitrim is Ireland's most underrated county. From stunning scenery and hidden gems to the unique charm of Leitrim life, Dave passionately made the case for why everyone should consider packing up and moving there. After listeners tried to guess his identity from a series of clues, the mystery was finally revealed and the Leitrim sales pitch began. Listen back for plenty of laughs, local pride and a celebration of one of Ireland's best-kept secrets.
Today's show had everything from awkward confessions to emotional Father's Day moments and absolute studio chaos. The gang had a surprisingly open discussion about the weird, awkward and hilarious things people admit to doing in lifts. Oonagh then decided the dads of Ireland deserved their own song this Father's Day… whether they asked for one or not. We also crowned iRadio's Dad of the Year, as voted for by listeners after hearing brilliant stories about legendary fathers across the country. To finish things off, there was another soaked edition of Spits and Giggles, with water flying everywhere as Cooper and Oonagh tried (and failed) to keep a straight face. Expect laughs, awkward moments and plenty of Father's Day madness in today's podcast episode.
It was the Father's Day final of who is iRadio's biggest legend dad of the year 2026 on the show this morning. Oonagh even commemorated the big day with her very own made up Father's Day song for all the dads out there. She sang it even if they didn't ant to hear it
Ahead of Fathers Day this weekend, we search for Ireland's biggest legend of a dad and listeners didn't disappoint. Tomorrow we crown iRadio's biggest dad legend of 2026

Cork singer-songwriter Stephanie Rainey has had an interesting year, appearing on America's Got Talent over the summer. She talks about that experience, why she felt like she wanted and needed to do it to shake things up, and her new EP The Highs and Lows of It All, due out next month. Stephanie Rainey tour dates: November 14: Button Factory, Dublin December 18: Cork City Hall --- Press release: In 2015, Stephanie emerged onto the music scene with 'Please Don't Go,' a song born from the depths of her soul, dedicated to her one-year-old nephew, Fionn, who tragically lost his life to meningitis. At a time before ‘going viral' was even coined, the single reached 5 Million people worldwide on YouTube and Facebook when it was first released. Almost 10 years since its first release ‘Please Don't Go' has found new audiences with over 8 million Spotify plays and a staggering 40 million combined views on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram since September 2023. The recent resurgence of 'Please Don't Go' catapulted Stephanie to the top of the Singer-Songwriter Chart in Canada, claiming the number 1 spot, and reaching number 2 in the United States. Her heartfelt music also charted on the main iTunes Charts in Ireland, Australia (reaching number 16 on the Main Chart), and the UK (reaching number 31). The outpouring of support online underscores the song's profound impact, with countless messages attesting to its ability to guide individuals through grief and healing. The accompanying music video, a poignant tapestry of personal tributes, amplifies the song's universal message of love and loss. As a result of this recent resurgence Stephanie travelled from Ireland to bring this heart stopping anthem to the America's Got Talent stage. This audition will air to an audience of 10 million viewers in America alone this June 25. Her new found TikTok fanbase, with over 27 million views, confirms her anthemic songwriting continues to inspire and resonate with audiences around the world, proving that music can be a force for healing and unity. Often compared to the likes of Adele, Dermot Kennedy and Ed Sheeran, Stephanie Rainey possesses a unique voice that is both authentic and honest. Since her breakthrough, Stephanie has amassed over 70 million streams across all her social media platforms and has become one of Ireland's most played female artists on radio. Stephanie Rainey's success in 2021 and 2022, with hit singles like 'Ross & Rachel,' 'No Cowboy,' '13,' and ‘Remember Who Your Friends Are' also showcased her appeal to a new generation of fans. ‘Remember Who Your Friends Are' climbed to No.2 in the Irish Breakers Radio Chart and the top 20 Irish Homegrown Chart. These singles were playlisted across national radio stations such as 2FM, RTE Radio 1, iRadio, Beat 102-103, Cork's 96FM, Today FM, and Northern Ireland's Cool FM. Stephanie also made her Irish TV debut on Ireland's prestigious Late Late Show and The Heart of A Saturday Night.

The Tokyo Games start in just a few days after being delayed for one year. Hosts Noah and Bree welcome Irish karate athlete and World Champion kickboxer Caradh O'Donovan to address different stories surrounding this year's controversial Olympic and Paralympic Games and why systems surrounding athlete representation must change. In this episode, we talk about… Caradh's personal sport journey and her decision to not compete in the Tokyo Olympics How Caradh got involved in the Global Athlete Start-Up Group What Caradh personally hopes changes to improve the careers of individual athletes Why Caradh believes the Court of Arbitration of Sport is not the remedy to help athletes Issues with WADA's testing system and why it needs to change Noah's upcoming witness testimony for the Helsinki Commission and the Rodchenkov Act Why law enforcement and legislation is needed to stop institutional doping The impact of Rule 50 and whether athletes will protest during the Tokyo games Memorable Quotes: “The promise I made to myself was when I switched sportsI was going to try and stand up for any wrongdoing because it's rampant in my sport...because there's a lack of athlete voice.” “I think a good place to start is to have proper, adequate, independent athlete representation and I do hope that will make a better place for athletes and better change for everybody.” “There's a number of human rights we've all been afforded and I absolutely believe in them, and that is freedom of expression, and that should be a given there should be no sport or organization on this planet that can just decide they're going to change the rules because they're that powerful.” Guest Bio: Caradh O'Donovan is a Global Athlete StartUp group member, Irish karate athlete, and a former world kickboxing champion.
