Jah LOVE! Yes! Preach it Bob Marley, One LOVE! If we keep our eyes on Jesus we can shift to peace and away from worry. Did you see The new #BobMarlyMovie? Did you like it? We review it in this Episode. But First…GOD! We think Bob would approve! We start this episode with scripture Hebrew 12 1-3 and Kat's God story where scripture and music collided at the perfect time( God's perfect Timing) and helped her and affirmed her! Holy Spirit, Tugs! Always God! Never a Coincidence! We discuss how life as a Christian is like a race that requires daily Perseverance and Endurance. What are your thoughts? Speaking of Race! We ran a 5K with our kids, The Cow Town in Dallas. We are still sore 3 days later. Kids are fine. We review the OG #Alienmovie and how #SpaceballsMovie Had us both thinking the alien was going to put the Top Hat on and start signing! We review #Griselda and the new season of #TrueDetective you guys see them? What did you think? Started watching #cariVal but Kat really wasn't into it. You see it? 2003, wait that was 21Years… what?! We finished the podcast with a good song from Grouch, and Eli called RUN, since we ran, the 5K might as well sing a song about runningWE Love you guys for listening. Please share, like subscribe, all the things…Tell your friends comment back. We love you!
Taking the time out of his busy schedule to talk all things “Everything is Jah Love”, we got the opportunity to catch up with Trickified! Led at the helm by Paul Babladelis, Trickified are a Costa Rican-based and Caribbean-inspired band that have delivered a jolt of feel good and overwhelmingly optimistic music with their newest single, “Everything is Jah Love”. With Paul on the vocals and a glorious cast of musicians that include Joe Bradley (vocals/drums), Jakab Selner (bass/vocals), and Tricia Babladelis (vocals), this four piece are consistently creating a special sounding music that's jam packed with great vibes. Luckily for us, we got the breakdown and origin story of how everything came to be, along with some other inspiring stories. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/wewriteaboutmusic/support

Jah Love - Ki Ka Nou [Kanaval 2019] by Chokarella Media
In this episode of The TruthSeekah Podcast TruthSeekah speaks with Brooklyn & Jah Love from the band Jambiance about spirituality, art and overcoming addiction. This was the first ever TruthSeekah Podcast that was live in front of an audience. Brooklyn and Jah both came together and set up the first ever Shanti Fest in Tallahassee Florida and I (TruthSeekah) was on the bill to perform as an artist. I figured that this would be a great first opportunity to take the podcast on the road and it was! We had an amazing time altogether with great music, yoga, guided meditation food and friends. I had to opportunity to meet some of my long time Patreon supporters for the first time who came to be a part of the event as well.

Born and raised in Spanish Town in Kingston, Jamaica Lutan's initial influence of African consciousness was instilled by his grandfather Tamba, and his spiritual identity is rooted in Rastafar-I, Bobo Ashanti. Musically speaking, Lutan was heavily influenced by all four of his grandparents. One of his grandmothers, Ms. Esmay, was the very first to teach him actual range levels in singing, however both grandmothers were known to be powerful singers. One of Lutan's grandfathers (Tamba) owned and played one of the very first Rumba Box instruments which still remains in the family today and he also played the harmonica, of which he eventually gifted to Lutan when he was a young boy. When Lutan was a teenager, both of his grandfathers hosted weekly parties on their lawns--affectionatelly coined the Tamba Harmony Hall and the Ackee Wackee Hall--at which friends like Coxsone Dodd who lived nearby, Joe Gibbs, Bob Marley, Dennis Brown, Alton Ellis, Hortense Ellis, Stereograph, Jah Love, Wasp, Volcano and many other reggae legends would be present, enjoying music and/or playing dominoes. His grandfather Tamba also owned a sound system, the then popular Black I-niverse of which Coxsone Dodd used to share music with and in those times you might have seen Lutan playing the sound and blowing a few amps as well. Musician and Author Tena Williams A.K.A. “Lady Flava” began singing in her church choir as a little girl in Jamaica and continued when she migrated to the United States at the age of 10. She began writing songs at the age of 16. Reggae, R&B, and Rap. Tena began recording professionally in late 2006. Tena Williams is also the CEO of the Finding Peace Campaign Corporation a non-profit organization designed to benefit victims of abuse and others in need of food, clothing, shelter, training, counseling and more. www.crsradio.com www.caribbeanradioshow.com 661-467-2407

Just Music Oldies and memories Born in, Jamaica Turban X (Warren Whyte) grew up as one of ten children. With such a large family, the struggles of life were eminent, but the only thing that had kept him going was the sweet sound of reggae music. Turban X's older brother sneaked him out of the house to an open mic stage show out in the street and coached him on stage. With a little encouragement from the crowd he gained confidence and boldly belted out his song as the crowd cheered and his faith was sealed. .Since then Turban X has performed in several venues with some of Jamaica's top reggae artists, such as John Holt, Ernie Smith, Bushman, Brigadier Jerry and Beenie Man. At one point he also opened up for Sanchez. Turban X is not only inspired by the greats of reggae music, but also other genres including The Manhattans, Sam Cooke, Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton just to name a few. Turban X is influenced by the various areas of reggae music and has given him a range of songs and types of music he plans to release. Turban X, with his clean lyrics and positive attitude, seeks to break through musical barriers. Currently, he is working on his upcoming album. Releasing the first single for that album entitled, "Jah Love", Turban X is destined to be a living legend. Jah Love. Anybody who has driven out past Charlottesville on 64 West will get the joke. The new Corey Harris album is called "Zion Crossroads", the name of a small town outside of Charlottesville where he lives and a perfect name for his first all reggae cd.
