This is a summary of what to expect from the continuation of the podcast Full-time Photographer initially started by Josh Rossi. This is the beginning of a discussion between two photographers, asking questions about origin, intent, talking shop, and picking brilliant minds. Catching up with a friend of over 10 years. Josh bought a farm! He was born in Florence Italy, and knew right away he needed to go after what he wanted. Attended Miami Ad school became an accomplished composite photographer, and artist. He used his skills to lift children's spirits via The Justice League Kids. Started multiple businesses, a podcast, software developer, public speaker and photography teacher. A husband and father, driven to be an example of success, not just another teacher who teaches for a paycheck.
Back in May 2020, Josh found me on TikTok, called me up, and had me flown to Utah the following month. We recorded our first three online courses together. Little did we know, it was the start of a beautiful friendship and business partnership that has grown to 6+ courses with plenty of other ideas in the works. Josh is more than just an online course creator and developer - he is also a serial entrepreneur who has mastered the art of PR, multiple income streams, and doing it all as a father. I highly recommend this episode for anyone looking to monetize their own personal/social media brand. Want to join a community of freelancers? Receive free feedback on your Fiverr gigs and services? I wanted to include a lot of different elements that told a story. That’s when I started getting into compositing.I realized that I could actually create the images that were inside my head. "Creating isn't just thinking about it." I love talking to creatives and artists. They always inspire me to look inside myself for my own creative worth. So when I got to talk to Josh Rossi, world-renowned digital artist of viral photo fame, I was delighted. You've probably already seen some of Josh's work floating around your Facebook feed, or featured in People Magazine, or on Good Morning America. I remember first seeing his work when he created a photo series of his daughter as Wonder Woman, to show her that she is a superhero. In our conversation, we talk about owning our worth as creatives, but we also talk about what happens when we create the unimaginable and realize how big our potential really is. I love hearing yet another successful creative share how important it is to mirror back other's worth in everything we create.
