When we last checked in with David Morris, president of QB Country, he was busy training his "bread and butter" client - middle and high school quarterbacks. Now in eleven cities, he's now taken many of those young QBs into the college and pro levels and they're staying close. Any any given moment in the offseason, David is training quarterbacks whose names you'd know and who are on the field on Saturdays and Sundays in the fall. He's gained their and their family's trust and they seek his counsel on NIL deals which has led him into beginning QB Reps. It's an exciting business and David keeps a low profile in a high profile industry. This week I am joined by QB Country founder, David Morris.  I met David through my work with former NY Giants quarterback, Eli Manning in 2019 and have since built a solid partnership. Along with my business the ANNEX, I also run the QB Country New Jersey location for on field quarterback development.  In our conversation we talk about how he started QB Country and its evolution to where it is today. Folks, it finally happened. After a lot of requests from fans, Anthony Boone and I were able to connect for a great, great talk about Duke football, QB Country and the mindset it takes to overcome devastating injuries. During our talk, Anthony discussed what it took to win at Duke, provides great advice on how to maintain success over multiple seasons and what it was like sharing snaps with Brandon Connette (aka The Phantom). As we discussed the Blue Devils' current season, Anthony gave some great insight on what Coach Elko and the staff are doing in Durham. You also learn a lot about the DukeGang mindset that his era personified. This week Parrish visits with former Ole Miss quarterback David Morris, who has built one of the premier quarterback training and development companies in the U.S. - QB Country. Morris was once a backup to Rebel greats Romaro Miller and Eli Manning.

David Morris set records while a high-school quarterback. At Ole Miss he played behind Eli Manning and seldom touched the field. After college his passion for football never dropped and he began drilling kids on quarterback skills on local fields as favors to their fathers. Ten years ago he began QB Country which institutionalized his processes and today his company boasts multiple NFL players and 171 scholarship quarterbacks with 31 this year alone. But, says David, these are his exceptions. It's mostly a middle or high school kids who's trying to get better; to get more playing time. And David teaches much more than football - he teaches kids how to become a man.
