You've seen the Hollywood version of the Red Sea parting, but do you know the spiritual reason God led Israel into a dead end? Sometimes the "wrong direction" in the eyes of the world is the only way to see the "salvation of the Lord." Summary: In this deep dive into Exodus 14–18, we follow Israel out of Egypt and into the refining fires of the wilderness. We explore how Jehovah transforms a group of former slaves into a covenant people through trials of hunger, thirst, and war. The Red Sea Crossing: We analyze why God told Israel to "stand still" and see His power, and how the cloud that gave light to Israel was darkness to the Egyptians. The Wilderness of Sin: We address the "murmuring" of Israel and the miracle of Manna. We learn that God provides "daily bread" to teach us daily dependence on Him. Water from the Rock: We look at the symbolism of the smitten rock at Rephidim and how it points directly to the Living Water offered by Jesus Christ. Sustaining the Prophet: We study the battle with Amalek and the vital role of Aaron and Hur in holding up Moses' hands. We discuss how "sustaining" our leaders is an active, physical labor. The Wisdom of Jethro: We conclude with the organizational breakthrough in Exodus 18. Jethro teaches Moses (and us) that "this thing is too heavy for thee," showing the power of delegation and shared responsibility in the kingdom of God. Call-to-Action: Are you currently facing a "Red Sea" with Pharaoh's army behind you and nowhere to go? How has the Lord provided "manna" for you during a lean season of your life? Isaiah 25:6-10 // Easter // Anthony Jones // April 5, 2026
Easter is the fulfillment of God's ancient promises, revealed throughout Scripture and climaxed in Christ's resurrection, which validates the gospel as the true and eternal plan of salvation. The sermon emphasizes that Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection were not random events but the divine fulfillment of prophetic promises, particularly in Isaiah 25, where God's victory over death and the establishment of a new covenant meal are foretold. Through the lens of 1 Corinthians 15 and Mark 16, it affirms that Christ's resurrection is historical, transformative, and the foundation of Christian hope—destroying death, restoring fellowship with God, and inaugurating the new creation. The message calls listeners to respond in faith, rejecting neutrality, and embracing Jesus as Lord and Savior, for His resurrection is both the proof of God's faithfulness and the guarantee of eternal life for all who believe.

Paul speaks of the day to come when we will shed our earthly tent and enter a heavenly building. It is there that all of God's promises to those who trust in His Son will be fulfilled. In the mean while, we live through the trials inherent in the earthly tent, working to spread the news of His Kingdom and confident that eternal life awaits.

In this episode, I continue with Doctrine & Covenants 88 and move into sections 89–92, “A Principle with a Promise.” I share the wrestle I had over releasing this episode that talks about the vaccine, why I ultimately felt impressed to publish it, and how it ties into following the prophet and learning by faith. We'll look at what it means to submit our will to God, seek answers in the scriptures, and embrace the Word of Wisdom as both temporal counsel and spiritual promise. “… the submission of one's will is really the only uniquely personal thing we have to place on God's altar. The many other things we “give,” brothers and sisters, are actually the things He has already given or loaned to us. However, when you and I finally submit ourselves, by letting our individual wills be swallowed up in God's will, then we are really giving something to Him! It is the only possession which is truly ours to give!” “Swallowed Up in the Will of the Father” Swallowed up in the Will of the Father Alan Jackson - Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus "Seek Learning By Faith," Elder David A. On Easter Sunday, we launched our new series From Here On... by looking at the powerful, symbolic encounter between the risen Jesus and His disciples in John 21:1-14. Through this “pageant,” as James Montgomery Boice describes it, we see not only the truth of the resurrection but the renewed purpose and personal relationship it brings. From failure to friendship, from emptiness to abundance, and from distance to invitation—we are reminded that from here on, death is swallowed up in victory, and we are welcomed to the table of grace. For more information about Integrity Church, visit our website, http://liveintegritychurch.org Connect with us on social media throughout the week to stay up to date on events and things happening at Integrity! Death Swallowed Up in VictorySeries: Easter Theme (2025) Preacher: Cory BrockSunday MorningDate: 20th April 2025Passage: 1 Corinthians 15:35-58
“Swallowed Up in Victory”Exodus 14:10-18, 21-31 [ESV]10 When Pharaoh drew near, the people of Israel lifted up their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians were marching after them, and they feared greatly. And the people of Israel cried out to the Lord. 11 They said to Moses, “Is it because there are no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the wilderness? What have you done to us in bringing us out of Egypt? 12 Is not this what we said to you in Egypt: ‘Leave us alone that we may serve the Egyptians'? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness.” 13 And Moses said to the people, “Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again. 14 The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”15 The Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to me? Tell the people of Israel to go forward. 16 Lift up your staff, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it, that the people of Israel may go through the sea on dry ground. 17 And I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they shall go in after them, and I will get glory over Pharaoh and all his host, his chariots, and his horsemen. 18 And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I have gotten glory over Pharaoh, his chariots, and his horsemen.”21 Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the Lord drove the sea back by a strong east wind all night and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. 22 And the people of Israel went into the midst of the sea on dry ground, the waters being a wall to them on their right hand and on their left. 23 The Egyptians pursued and went in after them into the midst of the sea, all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen. 24 And in the morning watch the Lord in the pillar of fire and of cloud looked down on the Egyptian forces and threw the Egyptian forces into a panic, 25 clogging their chariot wheels so that they drove heavily. And the Egyptians said, “Let us flee from before Israel, for the Lord fights for them against the Egyptians.”26 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the sea, that the water may come back upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.” 27 So Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to its normal course when the morning appeared. And as the Egyptians fled into it, the Lord threw the Egyptians into the midst of the sea. 28 The waters returned and covered the chariots and the horsemen; of all the host of Pharaoh that had followed them into the sea, not one of them remained. 29 But the people of Israel walked on dry ground through the sea, the waters being a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.30 Thus the Lord saved Israel that day from the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore. 31 Israel saw the great power that the Lord used against the Egyptians, so the people feared the Lord, and they believed in the Lord and in his servant Moses.CONNECT WITH USIf you have any questions or would like to get to know us further, head over to https://www.triumphlbc.org/connect and fill out our online connection card.ABOUT TRIUMPHTriumph wants to see the life and message of Jesus transform your heart, home, and city. Send us a textIn the second half of our Latter-Day Ladies interview, Emily Johns shares her journey through darkness and the power of praying for help in the name of Christ. She teaches the sacredness of grief, the righteousness of leaning into mourning, and the healing that comes from fully processing our pain. We explore 1 Peter 1:7—how faith, more precious than gold, is refined through trials and transforms into true knowledge. This is a conversation about trust, surrender, and finding Christ in our hardest moments.Quotes Referenced:President Russell M. One of the most important aspects of covenant relationship is love. That prompted the title of this study––Evidences of God's Love: A study of Section 109. We will pair this scripture study with the messages from conference that will help us to learn important truths from both modern and ancient prophets as we study these covenant verses.
