In this episode, I interview my good friend Dawn about her son Porter who had a brain tumor removed when he was 15. This episode was about waiting on the Lord and what to do when things don't go as planned or when we don't get the blessings we yearn for when we think we should. Dawn speaks about the hope, light, and comfort she found in Jesus Christ.
Episode one goes with lesson one in the manual, We Are Responsible for Our Own Learning. This is the first episode of 2023. The majority of it comes from the first podcast ever from January 2019. Please follow me @comefollowmeforus on Instagram for more weekly content. Shine on!
This is the last episode of all four years of Come Follow Me. In this episode, I talk about the changes I saw in myself through studying and testifying every week for four years. Then I share your feelings and what the Come Follow Me program did for you. Your testimonies are powerful. This program was a blessing from our Father in Heaven to all of us! I believe that studying this way helped us remain strong and committed to the gospel of Jesus Christ. What a miraculous gift.
This is the second half of last week's lesson. It's pretty on forgiveness. Maybe that's a good thing to think about this Holiday season. What gift can you give the Savior? Forgive.
This is the first half of the lesson about Haggai and Zechariah. I only reference Haggai in this first half. Be all in, people! It just makes your life easier.
This is the first of three Christmas podcasts. Enjoy! If you want to read the book, it is, "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever," by Barbara Robinson
This Episode includes my quick thoughts on Jonah and TWO repeat Episodes from Season 1 about giving. Such good things to listen to this holiday season. Happy Thanksgiving!!
This episode talks about these two prophets, Amos and Obadiah. They were just regular guys that were called to do and say some hard things. They warned us to seek the Lord and to be careful not to get to "at ease" in our lives. Obadiah added that we should go to temples for our dead and be their "Saviors on Mount Zion."
This Episode is about Hosea and how the Lord compares all of us to Gomer. The Lord loves us and wants to extend mercy to every single one of us! Don't ever forget that! For more resources, please visit www.comefollowmeforus.com/s4episode39

This Episode is about the prophet Jerimiah and how he was foreordained to be a prophet. It talks about our potential and what the Lord sees in all of us. See this week's lesson here
This is my interview with my son about his return to the church after being out for seven years. It's so beautiful, and I'm so glad he agreed to share it.
Shelby is back and you know what that means: it means something. Go listen and find out what that is as she studies Isaiah with you.
This is the second of three lessons on Isaiah in the Old Testament. I talk a lot about repentance before we die vs after. For talks mentioned please see www.comefollowmeforus.com/s4episode31
This Episode contains a little intro to why studying Isaiah is important. I only go through the first little bit, and you have homework to go and study it yourself and see what the Lord wants you to learn. For resources listed in this podcast please go to www.comefollowmeforus.com/s4episode30
This Episode is about Proverbs and Ecclesiastes, but it's mainly a big rant about grace for grace and the analogy of the marble jar or spiritual 401K.
This is the second half of the Pslams.
This is part 1 of the Psalms. I wasn't going to make two - but there was just way too much there!
This episode is about Job and his faith in the midst of trials. It includes my interview with my niece and her faith after the passing of her mother.
This episode is my interview with a woman named Katie, who is a perfect example of being a modern-day Esther. We can all follow her example and be braver. The gospel is just so amazing! I love what Jesus Christ does for us every day!
This episode is about being part of a Great Work and how lucky we are! It also includes a warning about not getting caught up in the trap that tells us that this isn't a great work. It is!!
This episode is about King Hezekiah and King Josiah and the influence a couple of righteous kings had. I recorded it when I was delirious and spiritually spent. I wasn't going to publish it, but my sister convinced me to. Don't judge too harshly. I know it's not my best work.

This episode is about the Israelites after Joshua died when they never do what they were asked and are always unhappy because of it. I talk a little about Gideon too. When will they/we learn to just follow those he puts before us to lead us and when will they/we learn to keep the commandments and let God prevail? Because when we do, it always works out better for us.
This episode is about Joshua and the Israelites crossing the Jordan River and watching the walls fall around Jericho. It contains my interview with Jennifer, a gay woman who recently joined the church. It's sooo good! Please listen!

This episode is about Moses' final instructions to the Israelites before they get to the promised land. He tells them that they need to love God with all their hearts, keep the commandments and help take care of the poor. It's so good. And it's the advice we need today! www.comefollowmeforus.com/s4episode19
This episode is about the whining and complaining Israelites. What's new? I loved in the intro how it said, "...the children of Israel needed, not to cover the geographical distance but to cover the spiritual distance: the distance between who they were and who the Lord needed them to become." So it is with us! If we stop complaining - we'll get to the land of milk and honey much faster and become who the Lord wants us to become. Shelby (Great Value Stroud) takes over again so Melanie can work on her book. This episode is about the tabernacle, sacrifice and what we can do to be Holy.
