The theme of this twelvth epsiode is house. It's a two part journey, starting off with deep house tracks, later on putting more weight on indie disco and alternative electronics. I put some work into building an interesting arch, let me know how I did or tell me your favorite track in the comments on Soundcloud. I know many of us, myself included, have put on a few pounds over the holidays and didn’t burn nary a calorie during 2014’s “Polar Vortex.” But, in the spirit of being healthier this year, I’ve created a very special all up-tempo edition of The Soul Eclectics Mix. Separate from our usual volumes, where we keep it mostly with music from this millennium (proving good music is still being made every day), I reached back for a few soul, disco, house and acid jazz ditties to sit along side our modern day classics. But, as per our usual, we do jump around a bit, never staying with one genre for too long before bouncing to another sound or feeling, all to get you moving, walking, running, something to get our blood pumping. So get moving, and if you like it, don’t forget to subscribe on Podomatic or iTunes and tell your friends that the LMG: The Soul Eclectics’ Mix, proves good music is eternal. ENJOY! — L.
