WWE SmackDown full show review, results, highlights, and livestream post show for April 29th, 2022 with JDfromNY.  WWE switched creative plans tonight, and have now cancelled the WWE Tag Team Title Unification Match at Backlash. Instead, we are getting a Six Man Tag with Roman Reigns, and Drew McIntyre included. This is a TERRIBLE idea, and exposes the lack of creativity WWE does have. The #1 priority should have been the Tag Team Titles, and all of this should have been creatively booked better.  Also, Ronda Rousey continues to put people to sleep in her feud against Charlotte Flair as they are set to compete with each other in a "Beat The Clock" challenge. Solomonster reviews WWE Smackdown and AEW Rampage for April 22nd.  Roman Reigns still has no announced challenger for WrestleMania Backlash in two weeks, but Drew McIntyre looks likely for the spot based on the events of this show.  Xia Li also reappeared and seemed to have been turned heel while abandoning her gimmick as "The Protector" of the blue brand.  On Rampage, Adam Cole and Tomohiro Ishii gave us a small preview of the "Forbidden Door" PPV, while Jade Cargill defended her TBS title and HOOK actually said a few words.
