With 11 days to go, Tony Khan is frantically trying to be an ALL In card together that should have been done 5 weeks ago. He clearly hasn't learned his lesson, and fans are frustrated. Also, in what was probably the worst match in AEW history, Jeff Jarrett, and Jeff Hardy should be shamed to be apart of something so bad. Will Ospreay returns to AEW to attack Chris Jericho. The Bullet Club target Kenny Omega, and Eddie Kingston wants Stadium Stampede with the Blackpool Combat Club.

After her long-awaited rematch with Trish Stratus didn't make the cut for SummerSlam, Becky Lynch finally gets her hands on Stratus tonight in a grudge match.Trish beat Becky at Night of Champions in May due to interference from Zoey Stark, and Becky has been waiting all summer long for revenge. Stark is banned from ringside, so it will theoretically be a fair fight, unless Trish has recruited a new ally. This could be the end of Trish's run in WWE this year, as it seemingly caps off her story. Becky gets to say “Thank you, Trish” by whopping her ass from pillar to post and forcing her to tap out to the disarm-her. Does the WWE Hall of Famer have one last trick up her sleeve to prevent the inevitable from happening? You'll have to tune into Raw tonight to find out what happens when Becky and Trish go one-on-one.World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins was taken out last week by a Kinshasa from Shinsuke Nakamura. We're going to hear from The King of Strong Style tonight, presumably to explain his actions. Will Nakamura automatically be granted a title match against The Visionary, or will Cody Rhodes argue that he deserves the first shot at Seth after beating Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam?Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER has a future date for a title defense against Chad Gable. Alpha Academy may very well be the final hurdle in the Ring General's way on his path towards becoming the longest reigning Intercontinental champion of all-time.

WWE SummerSlam 2023 full show review, and results with JDfromNY. JDfromNY reviews SummerSlam 2023 for Saturday August 5th, 2023. The 36th edition of SummerSlam proved to be a rather disappointing one when it was all over. A decent show that fell flat, with a dull Detroit crowd. Jey Uso was betrayed by his brother Jimmy Uso, as Jey Uso, and Roman Reigns engaged in Tribal Combat for the WWE Universal Championship. Seth Rollins defended the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor, as The Judgement have major problems heading into Monday Night Raw. GUNTHER defended the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Drew McIntyre, and Cody Rhodes finally slays Brock Lesnar. Also, IYO SKY cashes in her Money In The Bank to become the new WWW Women's Champion, and Ricochet and Logan Paul try and go viral in a one on one match.

GUNTHER defends the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Drew McIntyre. Asuka defends the WWE Women's Championship against Bianca Belair, and Charlotte Flair in a Triple Threat Match. Ricochet will go one on one with Logan Paul in what they are saying will be the "Most Viral Match" of all time. Shayna Baszler takes on Ronda Rousey in an MMA Rules Fight. And Brock Lesnar for the third time will take on Cody Rhodes.

WWE SmackDown 8/4/23 full show review, and results with JDfromNY on Off The Script. JDfromNY reviews WWE Friday Night SmackDown for Friday August 4th 2023. The SmackDown SummerSlam go-home show takes place this evening at the Wright State University's Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio. Jey Uso is set to appear on tonight's show ahead of his Tribal Combat showdown with Roman Reigns tomorrow night. Jey Uso thought he got the better of Reigns and Solo Sikoa on last week's show, but the duo ended up standing tall in the middle of the ring after delivering two vicious Samoan Spike/Spear combos.Meanwhile, reigning WWE Women's Champion Asuka, Charlotte Flair, and Bianca Belair are scheduled to be in attendance before they face each other in a triple threat match for the women's belt at the SummerSlam premium live event. The trio have been feuding in recent weeks and will presumably get one last chance to address each other on the microphone before stepping into the ring tomorrow night at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. And lastly, LA Knight and Sheamus, who will enter the SummerSlam Battle Royal on Saturday night, are set to collide in one-on-one action. On-screen authority figure Adam Pearce made the match last week after Knight and Sheamus got into a backstage argument.
