Jayvee De Leon is the Co-founder and CEO of Forent. He grew up in the province. His father was a tricycle driver while his mother was a domestic helper in Hong Kong. They did everything they could to make sure Jayvee finished his education. He's always been their motivation to work hard and save money so that he could give them a better life. However, in 2019 Jayvee lost all of his life savings because of a scammer. That was the lowest point of his life. He hit rock bottom. Akrisah began her faith driven entrepreneurial journey in 2014 while working as a campus missionary in a Christian organization. To raise money for her students' summer camps, she produced and sold Bible and journal covers. Then, in 2015, she resigned from her job to pursue a Master of Divinity degree at a seminary and serve as the senior pastor of her local church. To financially support herself, her studies, and her ministry, she launched KREations crochet, which sold T-shirt Yarns / Retaso. Then she taught women in her Barangay how to crochet and sold the finished products to raise money for her church's summer camp. The Department of Trade and Industry of Rizal Province discovered her business. They provided Akrisah with training on how to run her enterprise, as well as access to marketing opportunities through participation in national trade fairs. The Pandemic had a negative impact on her company and the market, but it also provided an opportunity for Akrisah to launch a new brand "AkreH." for upcycled home furnishing products. She created the UpBean Bag project and launched the project by faith without any funding. Yet God continued to open many doors for the UpBean bag project, such as TV show appearances and international grant offers. In January 2022, Kreations even opened its first upcyling hub in Rizal Province to employ more women and take on larger orders. To this day, Akrisah remains faithful in pursuing a God-given vision and mission to be a fabric upcycling hub that produces globally competitive home furnishings, bags, and accessories for a circular economy and community sustainability.
