For 4+ years I have been railing against this monster Donald Trump, and have been given every excuse in the book why he is qualified to be President by his voters. My fears become a reality on Wednesday. You can't just say you don't support him anymore. If you voted for him, it's on you to fix it so future politicians know you won't tolerate it. It's not on Democrats and anti-Trumpers to do it. If you have any remorse, you need to help. And if you don't, well, that's on you.

The election is over. I am so excited/relieved that Joe Biden will be the 46th President of the United States. But I also know that many of you voted for Donald Trump and are disappointed. I'm extending an olive branch. We are a nation of over 330 million people, and the people have spoken. While Donald Trump‘s ego is hurt, is that a reason to sabotage the incoming President-elect during a pandemic? We all can't avoid each other because we might be angry, and we need to work together to defeat Covid-19. We are battling a pandemic like we’ve never seen. This truly IS a matter of life and death far beyond any sporting event, which it seems our politics have become to our detriment. I discuss why YOU, yes YOU, need to encourage your Republican representatives to demand Donald Trump work on a peaceful transfer of power and in particular, work with , NOT against Joe Biden on the COVID-19 task force. This is far too serious. Almost 240,000 people have died and that number is growing by the day. I humbly ask that Republicans and Trump voters put aside their disappointment and do what is right for the country, a peaceful transfer of power like there always has been for 244 years in the United States.

On Sunday October 4, 2020, while in patient at Walter Reed Hospital for Covid-19, Donald Trump needlessly endangered his secret service agents for the purposes of a photo op. Why this matters, and why it is yet another example of the poor leadership in the United States and indecent behavior that have epitomized his administration.

Jeff discusses his thoughts on the news that Donald and Melania Trump have been diagnosed with Coronavirus. This after Donald Trump famously has not worn masks and lead packed rallies of his supporters, not encouraging mask use. This was something that was inevitable.

My take on last night's food fight (debate). While the debate did go off the rails, the fault was not equal. Joe Biden came to talk about policies, the other candidate was there to sneer, be cynical and take personal shots at the candidate and his family. Only one candidate in this race will unequivocally denounce white supremacy, instead of fanning the flames of hatred. JFK said "A rising tide lifts all the boats." Donald Trump punches holes in all of the boats so everyone drowns in his cynicism and filth. Hope you get something out of this.

Apathy, cynicism: two words that get in the way of progress and have been weaponized by the Republican party for many decades to get people to not care. To not fight back. To feel they cannot make a difference. To feel hopeless and helpless. They want you to NOT care so they can serve their own interests, stay in power, and not have a real dialogue on issues that affect you and your family. Have a listen.

It’s well known that Donald Trump does not apologize or take ownership of failures that happen on his watch. This has been on full display during this Covid-19 Pandemic. With the revelations last week in Bob Woodward’s newest book “Rage,” confirm what we already knew: it’s always about money and power for himself, it’s never about helping other people He may want to deflect from his incompetent leadership by calling it the “Chinavirus” or “Kung-Flu,” but he cannot run away from his praise of China’s dictator/President Xi. When the American people needed Trump to lead, he decided to stroke Xi’s ego and suck up to him. Don’t believe me? Have a listen. An American President cannot be afraid to have difficult conversations and stand up to bullies like President Xi, and Vladimir Putin. Sadly, with all his bluster, listen with your own ears how weak he is.

Unquestionably Joe Biden took his job as a Senator and Vice President with the seriousness those positions deserve. Still, recently "Golfer in Chief" Donald Trump attacked Joe Biden's work ethic, somehow taking a position campaigning indoors in crowded facilities, without his supporters being required to wear masks for THEIR OWN protection and others was better than Joe Biden's sit downs with voters answering questions, listening rather than just talking. In this episode, I discuss the work ethic that Joe Biden has shown throughout his career, and there is no reason to believe that he would take any different approach if he were given the opportunity to sit in the highest office in the country.

Up until 2016, every Presidential candidate had disclosed their tax returns to the public for the prior 40 years. Donald Trump did not and still has not. Tax returns are one of the most important measures of honesty, integrity, and who a public servant is actually serving. It's a matter of transparency and a safeguard against corruption. With Earth Day happening this past week, I got to thinking about my time with a very special teacher I had in high school, Charles "Chuck" Deveney. Mr. Deveney started the "Save What's Left" Club at Coral Springs High School, and made a huge impact on me and so many others. He is our "Lorax," and this episode is dedicated to him.
