From Estonia to the heart of modern dance music, Syn Cole has wasted no time setting his name in stone as an essential young breakout. Celebrated by Myspace, Vibe, Dancing Astronaut and EDM Tunes alike as one of the hottest artists of 2014, this is a year for the taking for the man behind a consistent string of versatile club hits. A formally trained pianist introduced to electronic music's more euphoric ranks, Rene found creative harmony in his mission to unite multiple genres and stand for more than just obnoxious drops. As a result, Syn Cole has become a name renowned for keeping the big room melodic and in constant progression. Known for fusing electro, funky and progressive sounds, the young Estonian fast became an obvious choice for ever expanding stronghold LE7ELS. Kick-off remix duties for ‘Silhouettes' saw the first of many Radio One spotlights, leaving debut single ‘April' to show the newfound talent stand on his own two feet. While his second remix for the label ‘Hey Brother' sparked both radio and DJ support across the globe, ‘Miami 82' made big waves at the final leap of 2013. Cappa Regime is a creative collective composed of Jake Kasheta, Shane Sherzai, Richard Nash (Rykr), Rob Enea (Erratic), and Charlie Doughan. With complementary production skills and a mastery of instruments ranging from piano to drums to guitar, they are endeavoring to break out of the "banger" soundscape that EDM has constructed for itself. In the studio, they aren't confined to a single genre, and channel influences as disparate as The Isley Brothers and E40. They produce melodic, expectation defying tracks to keep bodies moving and fresh minds blown. This year, Cappa Regime played a West Coast tour culminating in a play at Coachella, and were also chosen to play at EDC Las Vegas and Beyond Wonderland. Their live show is an energetic amalgamation of many dance genres; they integrate urban, vintage, and modern electronic dance elements throughout, so it has something for everyone. Their most recent remix of James Egbert's Exit Wounds was endorsed by the artist, and hailed as “brilliant” by EDM.com. They also just released a 2 track EP with Play Me Records. Constantly creating new content, they plan on releasing collaborations with Nina Sung and Del The Funky Homosapien (one of his first electronic collaborations since his work with Gorillaz) in spring of 2014. Hailing from Asbury Park, NJ, a town deeply rooted in rock history, Kastra (Ray Decker) is a true product of his environment. It was his early exposure to this prolific rock scene and the raw sounds of legends like Bruce Springsteen that influenced Kastra by shaping his musical taste and nurturing a deep desire to produce and perform his own brand of raw and exciting electronic music. From the young age of 14, Ray began composing simple guitar melodies. Building his music knowledge and learning to play various other instruments like bass and drums, Kastra was on his way to becoming a well-known musician in his own right. It was after a chance encounter with genre-bending music trailblazers Ghostland Observatory at Bonnaroo that Kastra was first exposed to experimental electronic music and was immediately drawn to it. Kastra's early success has not halted his enthusiastic work ethic. He released the "SPANK!" EP for free in the Summer of 2013 which resonated with his fans and is featured in DJ sets globally. He also is in the second year of his podcast for the The Drop radio with his good friend and fellow producer Aylen. Neil Hatherall, the man behind the King Kornelius moniker, is a self taught EDM producer residing in Ontario Canada. First entering the electronic music scene in 2010 he has since been busy building his throne made of epic melodies, heavy bass lines and pounding drums; All of which are bred together to create an emotional roller coaster music addicts flock to. Ironically choosing a career that entirely revolves around his ears, Neil has suffered from hearing problems since childhood. A condition that prevents fluid in the inner ear from draining properly means he experiences distorted/muffled hearing, ear pain and tinnitus. Despite this obstacle often present while creating and performing music, Neil perseveres toward his goals of world-wide recognition. Rather than following footsteps, Neil is dedicated to creating his own path to success. A desire to be known for having a unique style of music forces him to create it all from scratch. He hand makes and designs all his synths and sounds, never using a preset or any sampled sounds with out some kind of modulation or effects processing. This can range from constructing his kick drums from a set of 4 or 5 different samples, to field recording and incorporating his own samples and sound effects. Or from layering synths with lengthy effects chains, to writing, performing and recording his own vocals and live instruments. Neil believes this to be the only way to create a truly original style of music, and the world is well on it's way to recognizing him for it. In just 3 years, the King Kornelius name has over 42 Beatport releases on 23 renown record labels including Bug Eyed, Burn the Fire, and Big Fish. An EP 'It's time to die!' reached #3 in the top 100 releases in the beatport Electro House category. The single, 'Regicide,' made it to #12 in the drum and bass category, and a collaboration with BC's Soulfix and Australian vocalist, Jay Jacob, entitled 'Broken" reached #14 in the dubstep top 100. With many other chart toppers under his belt, and lots more to come, King Kornelius has establish validity to his name. And despite hearing issues, Neil pushes through to show the world what he is made of. TRACKLISTING1. King Kornelius - Early Morning (Original Mix) (Audiophile) 2. Z.A.K feat. Built to party and conquer the world, Kronic is Australia's most reckless entertainer. Fueled by an appetite for antics and an alarming disregard for personal safety, his electronically sequenced on-stage acrobatics take dj'ing to the next level, leaving crowds everywhere throbbing, engorged and yearning for more. With a cult following built from his series of bootleg mix tapes, it seems almost a lifetime ago that Kronic was one of Australia's hip hop DJ elite, constantly traversing the lands, bringing the party to the furthest corners of the nation. Five years on, with tour supports for LMFAO, Afrojack, David Guetta, Snoop Dogg & Lil Jon notched into his bed post, alongside lanyards from Creamfields and Future Music Festival slung over the door, it's obvious that Kronic has more than a foot in the EDM world. Transitioning from professional party-starter to production prodigy, it's Kronic's antics in the studio that have him commanding attention of late. After face planting into the ARIA Club Chart Top Ten with 2012′s Looking For Some Girls (feat. Bombs Away) (#7 Aria Club Chart), and the #11 follow up Watup Bitch, present day 2013 has Kronic spreading his wings, notching up remixes for fellow Aussie EDM heroes Dirt Cheap [Hussle], Bombs Away [Central], Chardy & Andy Murphy [Hussle]. Remix duties aside, it's Kronic original productions that have been turning heads of late. S.W.A.T. Team (with Chardy) saw Kronic reach Top 20 territory on Beatport, and earn support from Bingo Players, Hardwell, Tommie Sunshine, Sidney Samson, Deorro and more. Their follow up, Kavorka, became Kronic's biggest record to date – reaching #12 on Beatport's Electro House charts, and peaking at #5 on the Aria Club Charts. Not to mention Uberkron, a bass-heavy experimental collaboration with fellow Adelaide anarchist Uberjak'd, that snuck into the Beatport Top 40 Electro House releases. After touring the country (again!) with Tom Piper on Ministry of Sound's Addicted to Bass tour, Kronic has relocated to Sydney and is already hard at work, producing a monthly pod cast Handstands & Hangovers, and locking in studio time alongside Krunk!, Seany B, Static Revenger, Apocalypto and more. Finally I have Trumpdisco on! It literally took me two years of hassling them to get them on my show. I am proud to have them as they have a very unique sound. It's electro but with a purity and rawness to it that's hard to find in often over-produced and polished 4/4 music we hear these days. Hailing from Melbourne, Trumpdisco was formed in 2009 and since then have become renowned for their diverse remixing abilities. Sought after by a wide range of world class artists including the likes of Freeland, Yolanda Be Cool, Don Diablo and Mad Decent's Diplo. Trumpdisco boasts a rich plethora of bootlegs for artists like Woodkid, Muse, James Blake, Adrian Lux, Phoenix, Fatboy Slim and Rammstein. There is one constant Trumpdisco fans have grown to expect however – the raw, powerful energy which they never fail to deliver. After releasing their second E.P ‘OV Shark' with support from Drop the Lime, Fake Blood, DJ Craze, Kissy Sell Out, The Bloody Beetroots and Winslow, Trump went on a crinkle filled tour Across Europe. Alongside Europe, Trump has toured parts of Asia and New Zealand and have completed numerous Australian tours, to now set it's sights on the US and Canada. When Revolvr pulls the trigger, you feel it. Whether it's through an irresistible house music hook or propulsive progressive production, the Las Vegas-based artist and producer specializes in igniting emotions. Hands go up in the air and bodies shake when his fusion of styles pipes through the speakers. Locked and loaded with numerous tricks up his sleeve, Revolvr has arrived on the scene with a big bang. Revolvr a.k.a. Touvan Sughiarto officially entered the electronic music world in 2011, but the genre has been a part of his life for as long as he can remember. A fan of The Prodigy and Crystal Method during his high school years, Touvan relocated from The Bay Area to San Diego to finish college, where he perfected his skills on the decks. While, a detour into the corporate world post-college delayed his eventual destiny, a sunrise at 2010's Burning Man festival changed everything. On stage, his music really comes to life. Boasting a show comprised of mostly originals, he's played to packed crowds at Avalon (Los Angeles), Beta (Denver), Last Supper Club (Seattle), and a slew of summer festivals including Sunset Festival (Tampa), Sun City Music Festival (El Paso), Camp Bisco (New York), Stereoterra (Michigan) and the Pure White Party (Edmonton) alongside the likes of Avicii, Sander Van Doorn, and Gareth Emery. "I want to create an experience for people," he adds. "I like to see everyone jumping. My set is like a roller coaster. Everyone is along for an amazing ride." Ultimately, with a forthcoming EP featuring Lea Luna being released by Dim Mak in Fall of 2012, the ride is only going to get even bigger and better. He concludes, "I'd love for people to walk away feeling some sort of connection to the show or music. I hope the last thought they have is, 'I can't wait to hear that again'." Panda proudly presents one of the fastest rising artists in electro house: James Egbert. The American producer has been writing electronic music for most of his life but only recently jumped in to the front of the EDM scene. In the last few years, James has been actively pushing his music and he's been incredibly succesful at it. His independent self-release of "In the Beginning" quickly ammased massive attention and topped the Electro House, Dubstep and Progressive House charts at the same time. And this year has topped it as he was part of the line up of the Electric Daisy Carnival, North America's most popular electronic music festival, while a few months ago producing the official remix for will.i.am's single "This Is Love". James Egbert's musical style moves from electro house to dubstep straight through to moombahton. He pushes a sound containing trance influences mixing it up with the polished American dubstep synths and the thick 4/4 beats of electro house while sometimes sprinkling some moombah on top. Panda proudly presents one of the hottest artists in electro house Hervé. The London-based producer also known as Joshua Harvey is here with us today in a 30-minute exclusive guest mix. From reaching the #1 spot in the UK Dance Chart with "Beeper", collaborating with the legendary Fatboy Slim to produce "Machines Can Do the Work" to becoming an overnight sensation when his track "Together" became one of dance music's anthems of 2010, Hervé has been continuously pushing his music forward since he made his debut in 2006. Hervé musical style is profoundly raw, making a concious stylistic choice of avoiding the the typical gazillion-oscilator poly-saw sound that we hear too much today. He's also a member of the group Machines Don't Care with Sinden, Trevor Loveys, Affie Yusef, Toddla T, Fake Blood, Detboi & Drop the Lime that recently put out the massive "Beat Dun Drop" earlier this year. Buying his first set of turntables, he started practice DJing and later producing his own music. His tracks have started to continuously progress to higher positions in the Beatport charts and are now seeing support from the likes of Tiesto, Laidback Luke, Lazy Rich and Afrojack.
