    Early on in the COVID-19 pandemic, two pharmacists were researching working conditions in pharmacy. While they largely found that working conditions across the field of pharmacy were not good, it was really bad in chain pharmacies. Now this is coming to a head as many chain pharmacies can't find staff and are doing everything they can to bring on new people, with little impact. Dr. Jenny Beal and Dr. Mercedes Clabaugh authored the research paper, "Perceptions of working conditions and safety concerns in community pharmacy" and did an amazing job! So much so that the American Pharmacists Association published in in their publication, Journal of the American Pharmacists Association.
