We look at how self-worth, emotional pain, and the stories people carry can make healing feel farther away than it really is.This one is for anyone who has minimized what they are holding, compared their struggle to someone else's, or started to believe that needing help means something is wrong with them. Stay with us through this one, and notice what begins to shift when you stop acting like your pain has to earn its place.Episode References:Couples Who Get Fit Together, Stay Together (213)Is Health a Priority in Your Relationship? Leave feeling calmer, more grounded, and more available to receive the good that's still allowed to find you.
This truth is: This universe does not operate according to deserving. Watch this video to find out why.
This Resurrection Sunday at Shiloh Church, Pastor Bailey Bryant delivers a powerful, unforgettable message: "We Are Barabbas." We often focus on Jesus in the Easter story—and we should. But what if we've overlooked where we stand in the story? Barabbas was guilty. A rebel. A criminal. Deserving of the cross. And yet… he walked free. Why? Because Jesus took his place. And here's the reality that hits deep: that's not just Barabbas' story—that's ours. Through a stunning connection from Leviticus' scapegoat to the resurrection of Jesus Christ, this message reveals the full picture of redemption: • One died so another could go free • Sin wasn't just paid for—it was removed • The cross had your name on it… but Jesus took it But the story doesn't stop at the cross. If Jesus didn't rise, Barabbas just got lucky. But He DID rise. And because He rose, this isn't just about being set free—it's about being made new. This message will challenge you, move you, and call you to respond: Will you walk away like Barabbas… free but unchanged? Or will you surrender to the One who took your place? This is more than a sermon. It's an invitation. To step out of guilt. To leave shame behind. To stop running. And to fully surrender to Jesus. He took your cross. He carried your sin. He walked out of the grave. Now the question is… what will you do with Him? He is risen. He is risen indeed.

In this episode of the Third Eye Awakening podcast, I'm sharing a transmission I recorded about WHY healing your shit around money is so important. Like WHY it is f*cking SO damn important that we learn how to interact with Money in a way that allows us to receive MORE of it, and to stop feeling soooooooooooo much stress about it.I'm sure you've noticed the chaos in the financial system.Inflation, housing market crashes, bank fragility… We can't just be victims to these pressures. The false matrix is trying to capitalize on this-- to hasten it and pull us all down into survival wounding and trauma patterns. But as usual I can see through it, and I say “FCK THAT”. No thank you. This whack financial system has to change anyways, and if we don't want it to just get worse, we need to HEAL our shit around Money.LINKS MENTIONEDFLASH SALE: The New Earth Lightcodes of Money & WealthUse code NEWEARTH50 for 50% off!Doors close April 1st.Watch the FREE F*ck the False Matrix MasterclassJoin my FREE private FB group Soul Space
Morning Mantra: "We know what we want, but end up attracting what we think we deserve."This is why self-love and appreciation is so important. No matter what you think you should receive in life, if you don't think you deserve it, you will never get it, or you will lose it once you do.We are all born perfect and without self condemnation. We are conditioned by our parents, our schools, our culture, media and our experiences to judge ourselves against unrealistic comparisons. This is where the "not good enough" and the "not worthy" thoughts originate. If you think this about yourself, you can attract abundance and not feel like you deserve it. Or you never even try to chase your dreams in the first place. We each must learn to love ourself. Learn to recognize conditioned thoughts as they appear. Learn to listen to the truest, purest, most beautiful thoughts about yourself and BELIEVE them. You ARE enough. You ARE worthy. You ARE loved and loveable. You ARE deserving of everything your heart desires.#BeAwareOfConditioning#BeHappy #BeHorsey#BeHippie #HorseHippie#MorningMantra#InspirationalQuotes

Send a textThe word deserve sounds positive. Encouraging, even. But when it comes to weight loss and your relationship with food, it can quietly become one of the most dangerous words you use with yourself. In this episode, I'm talking about the language of deserving and how it can work both for you and against you.Feeling like you deserve better health, more mobility, and a body that supports the life you want can be incredibly powerful. But the same word can also become a justification for the very behaviours that undermine the progress you're trying to make.“I had a rough day. I deserve this.” “I've been good all week. I deserve a break.” “I'll skip tracking today. I deserve it.”The problem isn't the food. The problem is what this kind of thinking does to the trust you're building with yourself.Weight loss isn't just about changing your body. It's about building a new relationship with food and learning to trust your own decisions again. When you use “deserving” as a reason to undo the commitments you've made to yourself, you're quietly pulling apart the progress you've been working so hard to build. In this episode, Charlotte talks about how the language we use with ourselves can either support the work we're doing or slowly undermine it.You deserve to reach your goal. You deserve to build trust with yourself. And you deserve a relationship with food that actually brings you peace. But sometimes the most important question is this:What do you really deserve right now and in the long run?In This EpisodeWhy the word “deserve” can be both motivating and dangerousHow “I deserve this” often becomes a justification for self-sabotageThe connection between deserving language and self-trustWhy short-term rewards can undermine long-term goalsThe mental side of building a new relationship with foodHow to pause and question the stories you tell yourself about foodSupport the showLooking for help on your weight loss journey? In Healthy Mind, Healthy Life, hosted by Sayan, author Sarah Marshall explores why belonging isn't something you “earn” by fitting in—it's something you practice by showing up and accepting the invitation to be seen. This episode is for anyone feeling stuck between identities, places, or communities—especially if you're craving connection without losing yourself. Sarah shares how community can help reshape self-worth, why “home” can be internal, and what it took for her to stop leading with a single label and start engaging as a whole person. About the Guest: Sarah Marshall is a San Francisco Bay Area–based writer and author of the newly published novel Playa Dust in My Soul. A longtime world traveler with experience spanning the military, high-tech, and spiritual practice, she writes about belonging, chosen family, and transformation. Episode Chapter: 00:02:50 — Why belonging lives in the “in-between” spaces 00:04:34 — Sarah's earliest memories of feeling outside community 00:06:23 — “Carry your home”: belonging as an inner home 00:08:22 — The hidden patterns beneath disconnection and distance 00:11:06 — The playa as a crucible: intensity, invitation, and choice 00:13:12 — “Dust in my soul”: the metaphor that sticks with you 00:16:52 — Deserving love: the long work of accepting belonging Key Takeaways: Treat belonging as an active practice: invitation and acceptance both matter. Try “embracing the moment” instead of waiting for the perfect place or people. Notice where you're protecting yourself by not accepting connection. Experiment with showing up as a whole person, not your loudest label. Build self-worth slowly: belonging strengthens when you believe you deserve it. What if the question isn't what someone deserves but what it would take for them to live a good life? In this episode, Justin Yentes sits down with Liz, a pioneering mitigation specialist and author of the upcoming book The Deserving. Through decades of work on capital cases, Liz has helped courts see the full humanity of people facing society's harshest punishments. Together, they unpack how trauma, poverty, intergenerational harm, and systemic failure shape lives long before the justice system ever becomes involved and why punishment alone cannot create safety or justice. Liz also shares the cases that changed her, the patterns she's seen across hundreds of lives, and why mitigation isn't about excuses, it's about context, truth, and moral clarity. Key Topics Covered: Why jurors often never hear the full story before deciding life or death The myth of equal opportunity and the danger of retributive justice How adverse childhood experiences shape behavior, health, and outcomes Intergenerational trauma and the unseen legacy of abuse, poverty, and violence Mental health crises and why jails have become America's largest providers This episode will challenge deeply held beliefs about punishment, responsibility, and who we consider worthy of care. If this conversation unsettles you, that's the point. This episode asks us to rethink who we protect, who we abandon, and what kind of society we're choosing to build. Psalm 119:105-112 - Speaker: Josh MacAvoy - As we come to the end of the year, we will wrap up by looking at a passage of Scripture that invites us to pause and consider God's word as a whole; considering how we view it, why we trust it, and how we respond to it. Over the past year as a church, we have spent countless hours reading, hearing, singing about, and responding to God and his word. As we look ahead to the coming year, it is fitting to slow down and reflect on the very word to which we are devoted. In our shortened post-Christmas service, we will look to God and his word together. We look forward to what God will show us as we gather. To prepare, please read Psalm 119:105–112. Pray that God's word would be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path. And pray that as we enter a new year, with all that lies ahead, we would do so with an ear to God‘s voice and lives following him.

Send us a textWhat if hope isn't tidy or instant, but slow and stubborn—something that holds you when outcomes don't? In Matthew 11, John the Baptist asks a big question about Jesus. "Are you the one, or should we wait for another?" John's question is really our question. Is Jesus deserving of our faith, hope, and following? In this episode, Melissa and Bishop Wright have a conversation about the ache for a savior who will make it all better, especially amid Christian nationalism and culture-war politics. It's human to want a rescuer, but it's risky to confuse charisma with character. The kingdom's pattern is quieter: reversal at the edges, healing without spectacle, and justice in motion. Advent brings the hard edge of timing. God is not a magician, and the “already and not yet” of the kingdom asks us to live with tension—trusting that change has begun while admitting it is not complete. This is mature faith: patient, honest, and, grounded in the long arc of God's work.
