A tough topic but an important one today — Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID), which includes Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), is the leading cause of mortality in infancy. We always want to help families understand the ways they can reduce the risks of SIDS, we also work with families who are using products that are often marketed towards the idea of reducing SIDS but are actually causing a lot of anxiety for parents. Sleep is a really big challenge for a lot of families with young babies but following safe sleep recommendations can prevent many SIDS fatalities.
