Bryan's story starts in New York, where skateboards, weed, and the raw energy of rebellion shaped his early identity. But what looked like typical teenage experimentation quickly became something others labeled as “a problem.” In the height of the 90s and early 2000s, Bryan was sent away to behavior-modification boarding programs meant to “fix” kids like him. Instead of changing him, those experiences carved in a deeper belief: something is wrong with me.That belief followed him straight into addiction.Oxy was the first opiate that hooked Bryan, and what came after was years of chasing a feeling he could never quite catch again. Methadone, Suboxone, cross-country moves between New York and San Diego, and eventually crack cocaine all became part of the cycle. There were moments that looked like escape, traveling through national parks, falling in love, even a trip to Italy, but the obsession to use never loosened its grip.After a suicide attempt brought him to his lowest point, Bryan found himself back where it all began: using again.But on April 1, 2022, something shifted.At a long-term medical treatment facility, Bryan finally found the space, structure, and willingness that allowed recovery to take root. Today we're looking at one of the wildest moments in the Book of Acts—the night Paul literally preached someone to death. And then brought him back to life. Try topping that with a sermon illustration. Here's the thing: Everyone jokes about "falling asleep in church," but the real danger isn't dozing off during the message. "It's not sin that gets us first — it's sleepiness." The world lulls us into spiritual drowsiness, and we don't even notice it happening. Meanwhile, Jesus is over here yelling, "Wake up," not because He's annoyed, but because "falling asleep in faith is inevitable; but being raised by Christ is certain." This message isn't a guilt trip. It's not caffeine for your conscience. It's about the God who refuses to let you stay asleep. "He doesn't just forgive you — He wakes you up." After Anna heard that Raven needed to get all of his “errands” done before taking his time off, she asked him to detail exactly what those were! Pick'em News!  Raven gets to choose one of three stories Anna has found to hear all about!  His options are a porto-potty prank gone awry, a wildlife houseguest, and a mom banned from the school pick-up line due to an ad on her car! What do you do that makes the people around you freak out?  Anna was at a wedding last weekend and kept doing something that made her daughter lose her mind! Anna has three more crazy news stories for Raven to choose from!  This time his options are a redundant FDA warning, a crime spree on the most wholesome street in America, or a family brawl over Chinese food! Couples Court – Brynn and Carson have been dating for three weeks. Brynn is upset that even though they were at an event together, Carson posted pictures of the event on his social media but cropped her out of photos.
