The Thrillers by the Bookclub Pod podcast is an absolute gem for anyone who loves thrillers and wants to dive deeper into the genre. As someone who was relatively new to thrillers, this podcast has been an incredible resource for discovering new reads and authors. The hosts, Chelsea and Olivia, have a fantastic dynamic and their banter is both entertaining and informative. The special guests they bring on the show are always amazing, with the Riley Sager episode being a particular favorite of mine. Overall, I am thoroughly enjoying this podcast and will definitely be tuning in for more episodes.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the wealth of book recommendations it provides. Through listening to each episode, I have discovered so many great reads that I might have otherwise missed out on. The hosts' enthusiasm for books is infectious and their discussions about different thrillers are both insightful and engaging. I also appreciate that they bring on beloved thriller authors like VE Schwab and Riley Sager for interviews, giving listeners a chance to hear from their favorite authors directly.
However, as much as I love this podcast, one downside is that there is only one short season available so far. While I understand that creating high-quality content takes time, I finished all the episodes within a week and now eagerly await the next season. I really hope there will be more episodes soon because I can't get enough of Chelsea and Olivia's witty commentary and their excellent thriller recommendations.
