. In April, we will be hosting a 5 week Webinar Series on the Five Element Theory. . Chinese medicine sees our existence as microcosms of the greater cosmos. Traditional five element theory views our bodies and minds as governed by and intricately tied to the elements of nature and subject to shift in or out of balance in response to the environment. The meridians form an intelligent communication network, mapping out the nervous system across the gross and subtle layers of the body. Through Yin Yoga practices, we tap into the intelligence of these meridians. . Join us on Thursday evenings in April - Booking ere: https://www.yogasouthafrica.co.za/events-workshops/chinese-five-elements-5-week-webinar-series . For more information, info@yoagsouthafrica.co.za

While there are a lot of voices and opinions currently being circulated, there are very few from children. We would like to give the Earthchildren a platform to share their experiences and their ideas. In addition to this, a lot of messages on social media about the impact of lockdown are showing the experience of relatively privileged people who are able to use this time productively, working from home and spending time with their families. The truth is that there are a lot of people in South Africa who are experiencing a very different side to the lockdown right now. She is a complete wealth of knowledge and I wanted to share that with all of our listeners. In this episode, Simmi guides us through a meditation which focuses on our heart chakra and cultivating love within ourselves. This 15 minute meditation is the perfect start to the morning or a wonderful way to settle at the end of the day.
