Braydon and Belinda are back at it for the second time this year, chatting about two spooky hauntings!Belinda starts the podcast out by chatting about the Hotel Monteleone, a haunted hotel in New Orleans in the United States. Apparently there are a number of ghosts who frequent the hotel, but the most infamous floor is the 14th (actually 13th) floor! There is the spirit of a young boy who is said to have died in the hotel, who is mentioned to frequent the floor and play with his other ghost friends!Braydon goes on to chat about the Franklin Expedition in the Arctic in the 1800s, and their now wrecked vessels that remain frozen in the ice. The Canadian Arctic Inuit people believe the HMS Terror to be haunted by nonhuman spirits, and the ship to have a terrible curse over it. Not only have the Inuit people experienced terrible accidents after explorers started investigating the wreckage, but a painting of the vessel is said to hold this exact curse and to be carrying the misfortune all the way to London! Happy New Year from You, Me, and a Poltergeist! We hope everyone had a very safe holiday season!Braydon starts the episode by discussing the cursed head of rebel samurai, Taira no Masakado. The samurai lived in the 10th century and after defeating many of the enemies who rose against him, he was believed to be both immortal and a demi-god. The samurai's luck ran out when the emperor of Japan sent an army against his and had him killed and decapitated, but his head was said to be magical in nature. The location it is buried is said to be cursed by Masakado's revenge, and many odd occurrences have happened around the shrine.Belinda goes on to discuss the South Shields poltergeist, and its reported "Toy Fetish". The rude poltergeist was renowned for tossing small objects, intimidating and berating the home owners with expletives, and leaving menacing stuffed animals out to scare the household. After her body was eventually discovered half a century later, the object she was hid within was passed on to new owners and is reportedly haunted by the ghost of the dead bride.Braydon goes on to chat about the ABCs (aka Alien Big Cats) of the UK! In a rather odd circumstance, there appears to be a growing population of big cats in the UK, and recent studies show that sightings are very common. Braydon and Belinda discuss two haunted locations this week! Braydon starts the episode out by discussing Sloss Furnaces in Alabama, which had blast furnaces producing a large amount of steel in the late 1800s to mid 1900s. Unfortunately, due to the company cutting corners and illegal debt-slave hiring, there were countless tragedies. These tragedies still haunt Sloss furnaces to this day.Belinda goes on to discuss St Batholemew's Hospital in London, which has a long and storied history. The hospital started in the early 1100s and has seen its fair share of ups and downs, but still remains open to this day. People visiting and working in the hospital recount all manner of odd paranormal experiences, but one in particular is quite terrifying, and that's what occurs on the elevator that has been nicknamed "The Coffin Lift". Braydon and Belinda are back speaking about two spooky stories! Belinda starts the episode out by chatting about the Q Station. A quarantine station in Sydney's North Head where approximately 600 people died during its 150 years of operation. The Q Station is said to be haunted by all manner of terrifying ghosts and ghouls, and serves now as a "luxury" hotel and resort.Braydon goes on to discuss the haunted ventriloquist doll known as Mr Fritz, who was made by a captured soldier in a German POW camp in WW2. The doll delighted many of the other prisoners and kept morale high. Upon the owner's death, it was sent back to the US and found its way to an antique shop, where it passed its way through different hands. Each owner experienced strange paranormal activity while Mr Fritz was in their home, and footage of Mr Fritz moving has circulated the internet. He discusses the various explorers who have tried to uncover the creature, what the creature is capable of, and one interesting dream encounter an explorer had with the beast after being warned away by monks.Belinda goes on to discuss the Enfield Horror, a strange tripedal monstrosity encountered in Enfield, Illinois. This wide-eyed, three-legged freakshow is said to have stalked a neighbourhood in the town, and was spotted numerous times. Preston Castle was a reform school in Ione, California. The castle was renowned for its poor treatment of the reforming students, it is said that many people even met their grizzly ends on the premises. The strange octopus-like creature was seen emerging from the waters of the Ohio River in 1959, and a number of other odd occurrences were reported during that time.Belinda goes on to discuss the alien abduction of Amy Rylance, who was mysteriously picked up by a shining beam through her loungeroom window and taken away. Amy's colleague and friend, Petra, was in the room to witness it all and was utterly terrified by the entire occurrence. The 20 year old Victorian had decided to make a 125 nautical mile flight over the Bass Straight towards Kings Island (located near Tasmania), but never made it to the island. Frederick's final conversations with ground crews gave his chilling account of an encounter with a UFO before he vanished. Braydon and Belinda are back at you again discussing two very interesting paranormal topics from Arizona and Thailand!Braydon starts the episode out by talking about The Red Ghost of Arizona (a name he butchers a lot throughout this episode, mixing it up with The Red Devil, so be warned). The cloven-footed creature terrorised Arizona during the late 1800's, killing and injuring those who crossed its path. The thing most terrifying about this enormous beast was the skeletal rider seen striding upon its back. In the end however, this terrifying entity was more fact than fiction, listen in to see why!Belinda goes on to discuss the Thai widow's ghost! The widow's ghost is said to roam Thailand in search of men to kill, snatching them from their engagements and relationships by bringing them into the clutches of death. The ghost is said by Mediums to only be repelled by a red shirt hung from the house of men, and households with only one son are most at risk. Braydon and Belinda are back at you again, super tired and delirious but excited to chat about all things spooky and supernatural!Belinda starts the episode out by talking about the Brazilian poltergeist that terrorised 11 year old Maria Jose Ferreira in 1965. The haunting started out pretty intense, with the poltergeist throwing bricks, eggs, and stones across the house where Maria was living. Often time these objects would seemingly appear out of thin air. Things got much more intense as the haunting continued however, and Maria was viciously attacked and injured numerous times (listen in for more details)!Braydon goes on to talk about the Haunting Hands Horror of Devonshire in southwest England. These two disembodied hairy hands are rumoured to attack drivers who are traversing roads between Two Bridges and Post Bridge. The man took his story to the news, and gave a full account of the spooky encounter. He reportedly picked up a 17 year old while back on his way to San Jose de la Esquina, and was asked to drop the teen off at a graveyard, and that's when he disappeared!Belinda goes on to discuss the French Werewolf Epidemic between the 1500s and 1600s! Over that period there was many murders and injuries by these "werewolves", and approximately 30,000 people were put on trial for werewolfery! Braydon and Belinda discuss two very interesting paranormal events across the world.Braydon begins the episode by discussing the Mineral Point Vampire which was spotted 3 times between 1981 and 2008. The three sightings all featured a similarly gaunt, tall, and pale man, who evaded police capture twice by leaping over a high wall in one single bound.Belinda then goes on to discuss Greyfriars Kirkyard, a graveyard in Edinburgh, Scotland, renowned for being the most haunted cemetery in the world. The ghost of merciless judge George Mackenzie, who was responsible for countless deaths while trying to stamp out Presbyterian Covenanters in the 1670s. His tomb was broken in to on one occasion, with his skull being used as a soccer ball, which undoubtedly annoyed the ghost. Declared Dead... Again!

Braydon and Belinda are back again for another weekly episode, discussing two weird and wonderful paranormal topics from around the globe.On today's episode, Braydon visits his favourite place in the US again, Loveland Ohio. This time instead of talking about Frogmen, he's talking about the Loveland Castle and it's owner who is said to haunt the premises. Harry Andrews built the castle over his life after WW1, and died before it was ultimately complete. The Knights of the Golden Trail who take care of the castle in his absence say they notice things missing, and sometimes spot the castle's owner strolling the halls.Belinda goes on to discuss the terrifying Mesoamerican legendary canine, El Cadejo! The beasts are reported to come in a few varieties, one being white and benevolent and the other being black and malevolent. These creatures are said to fight against each other to protect and hurt certain individuals. Fairy Witch Trials!

Braydon and Belinda take a turn down a different path tonight, and giggle their way through a discussion about fairies!They are beings who can be found in many European cultures, and are often described as being nature spirits who play pranks upon humans. Fairies or Fae, usually belong to two "courts", the Seelie Court (or Summer Court) and the Unseelie Court (or Winter Court). These classifications discern a fairy's temperament, and how vicious they are with their pranks.Belinda starts the episode off with a very giggly explanation of the Donas De Fuera in Sicily, Italy. She discusses different encounters with the fairy spirits and "elves", and talks about the fairy witch trials which occurred when the Spanish Inquisition believed that the local fairy beliefs were evidence of a witches sabbath!Braydon goes on to chat about the Water Horse or Kelpie, an unseelie fae known to lure children to locations of water and drag them to their deaths. The creature is a renowned shapeshifter of Scotland and is said to inhabit any of the streams, rivers, lochs, ponds, and places with water in and around the nation. In fact, most bodies of water in Scotland have kelpie tales behind them. Braydon and Belida are back with some weird supernatural/paranormal stories to tell today!Belinda starts the episode by chatting about the Ammons haunting case, which is one of the most well documented encounters with the paranormal of all time. The Ammons family home was known as the 200 Demon House, and experienced all sorts of horrific encounters in their family home. The single mother fought off the demons in the house for as long as she could, but eventually her children ended up becoming possessed by the demons. On numerous occasions, child protection officers and local police officers experienced the paranormal activity occurring in the property and also experienced explainable behaviour and physical ability displayed by Ammon's children. The property was eventually bought by the Ghost Adventures host, and a documentary was created surrounding the haunting of the property.Braydon goes on to discuss the legend of the Utsuro-Bune, also known as the Hollow Ship. The story tells of an odd saucer shaped ship washing ashore in Japan, the local fishermen inspected the ship and found that the strange ship contained an unknown language (still unknown to this day), and also a foreign looking beautiful woman who spoke language the fishermen knew. Could this be an encounter with a UFO, unidentified floating object? Belinda and Braydon discuss two haunted locations in the US on this weeks episode, one a little silly, and one really spooky.Braydon begins the episode by talking about the haunted Subway restaurant in Dodgeville, Wisconsin. The Subway was previously a Harley Davidson dealership owned by a couple in the area, unfortunately the couple were involved in a horrific car accident which resulted in their death. After their Harley shop was bought up by the Subway chain, the employees began noticing paranormal occurrences that may be linked to the previous owners.Belinda goes on to discuss the Roosevelt Hotel, which may or may not be one of the scariest haunted locations in the entirety of the world (as believed by us). The hotel has a ton of paranormal activity, linked to people who have died in the hotel, and it is even said that the location is visited by ghosts near and far just for an evenings stay. There are countless reports of empty rooms calling room service, and the staff hearing disembodied voices on the other side of the phone. Belinda and Braydon discuss two intriguing paranormal houses during this weeks episode.Belinda starts the episode off by talking about the Willows Weep house in Indiana in the US. The house has a number of interesting aspects of design that are linked to interesting paranormal superstitions, such as the house being shaped like an inverted cross, the central room's roof being pentagram shaped, and the house being built on a native American burial ground. Of all the mysteries surrounding the house, the attic is the most terrifying, and is said to house the malevolent spirit of a little girl. A lady who owned the house oversold the haunted nature of the property, and made renovations to the property to increase its "haunted" appearance. The property eventually reached the hands of David Spinks, who wrote a book and shot a film about the house.Braydon goes on to discuss 17hundred90, a historic building in Savannah, Georgia in the US. The building has three distinct ghosts that haunt it, one benevolent, one malevolent, and one who performs both nice and mean acts. Anyone willing to stay in the hotel should elect to stay within room 204, which is said to be the MOST HAUNTED ROOM IN AMERICA! Belinda and Braydon discuss two drastically different hauntings on today’s episode, Belinda touching on an incredibly macabre site for the paranormal, and Braydon touching on another silly Ohio cryptid!Belinda discusses the Cecil Hotel, in all of its horrors. The hotel has been a hotspot for murder, suicides, and off happenings ever since 1931. A number of notorious serial killers stayed in the hotel while they committed their murders, and countless people have jumped from their rooms to take their own lives. With all of this death, it's not far-fetched to see why such a gruesome location could be haunted, and Belinda managed to happen across an image of a ghost jumper leaping from one of the windows of the building. Braydon and Belinda return for the 60th episode of YMAAP by chatting about two very spooky hauntings reported across the world.Belinda starts the episode off by talking about the hauntings of Lake Lanier in northern Georgia in the United States. The huge lake is man-made and was built over the top of old ghost towns, which contained a number of cemeteries. The local government said that they had moved the graves so they wouldn't be flooded by the new lake, but the government only had moved the headstones. People report feeling hands grasping at them while they're swimming, and the lake has an incredible amount of deaths surrounding it.Braydon goes on to chat about the scary yokai known as Kuchisake-Onna. The horrific slit-faced ghost originated from an samurai's wife who was known to sleep around, when the samurai returned home and found his wife unfaithfully in bed with another man, he killed the man and mutilated her face so no one would ever find her beautiful again. Lizzie murdered her Step mother and father with an axe in a horrific fashion, and got away scott free with the killings after the jury was lead to believe she was too soft spoken and weak to have performed such a vial act. The repercussions of her actions are still felt to this day, as the ghosts of those murdered are seen and heard in the home where it all took place.Braydon goes on to discuss the Black Nun of Threadneedle street, which is a tale of sadness, grief, and insanity. Sarah Whitehead's brother was a bank teller who was found guilty of committing forgery on the job. He was subsequently hung for his crimes and the death was never reported to his family. Sarah looked for her brother for seven years before being paid to stay off the bank's property, but still she looked in the surrounding streets for signs of her brother. The dog terrorised two churches in one evening in the mid 1950's. The terrifying dog spirit was even responsible for the death of two church goers, and the murder was seen in front of an entire congregation.Belinda goes on to discuss an old family manor passed down from father to daughter in a will. The daughter noticed odd activity in the manor, and called in a budding parapsychologist to assist in helping the four distinct spirits in the manor to pass onto the other side. Belinda and Braydon are finally in their new studio and take the time to discuss two interesting hauntings with you today. Sorry in advance if the audio is a bit different, we're still working out the kinks.Belinda starts the show off by discussing the original inspiration for the Stephen King novel "The Shining", which he got from the Stanley Hotel in Colorado. Although King didn't recount too many weird occurrences while staying at the Stanley, he did report his son having an incredibly weird nightmare about the location. King's mind was swept away by the mystique and isolation, and had the Shining thought up within one evening. Unknown to King, but known particularly well now is the fact that the Stanley Hotel is incredibly haunted! Odd paranormal phenomena are constantly experiences on the premises, and the hotel even offers courageous guests a chance to stay in known haunted rooms if they desire.Braydon goes on to discuss Greg and Dana Newkirk from the Travelling Museum of the Paranormal and Occult, and a particularly spooky item they have in their travelling collection. The item is known as Billy, the Idol of Nightmares, and much as the name suggests, it's infamous for causing horrendous strings of nightmares over the span of weeks after handling it. Cryptozoology is a pseudoscience that aims to prove the existence of entities from the folklore record, such as Bigfoot, the chupacabra, and the Lochness monster!Braydon discusses the strange abomination that hunts the Pine Barrens of New Jersey, the Jersey Devil! This creature's origins come from a reported accidental curse that a mother put upon her unborn child while she was pregnant. Braydon and Belinda discuss two unique hauntings from very different parts of the world.Belinda discusses the legendary haunting of the Bell Witch, which terrorised a Tennessee farmer named John Bell. The Bell family had encounters with the strange entity, but it was only the father of the family who had somehow earned the ire of the Bell Witch. Before becoming the President of the US, Andrew Jackson went with a group of his men to investigate the haunting and it was then he gave the entity the name of the Bell Witch. A number of other intriguing events occurred in the Bell house hold, such as the Witch making moves to protect the daughter of the Bell family, and even accurate predictions of the future from this mysterious entity..Braydon goes on to discuss the Javanese complex of Lewang Sewu. The complex was created in the early 90's for the Dutch Railway Company, but was taken over by Japanese soldiers during WWII. Whilst in control of Lewang Sewu, the Japanese used it basements to house prisoners, perform gruesome tortures, and execute countless Indonesian and Dutch soldiers and citizens. The ghost was persistent with Ann, and continued pestering her about the treasure until she eventually found it.
