[EP 25-089] If a Democrat runs your country, state, county, or city you are not safe. They will pretend to protect you, but ask yourself if you are really protected. But more importantly, look at the realities all around you. They want to defund the police. They let criminals out of prisons, and won't prosecute them. They spend your money on frivolous things, and allow invaders to saturate every institution to the point that citizens can't even use them. Schools are overcrowded, and no longer places for enlightenment and learning, but instead indoctrination. Government services spend more on illegals per capita, than citizens.    Border integrity, foreign policy integrity, tax integrity, spending integrity, and so on. You get it?! Be Impeccable With Your Word. Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-kevin-jackson-show--2896352/support.

The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Reyes is a little book with simple yet powerful points for becoming awake and aware spiritually.  It begins with the premise that we have been "domesticated" or given guidelines by those around us in order to fit in. "Just being ourselves is the biggest fear we have as humans...We end up feeling inauthentic because we try to put on a mask - so afraid that someone will realize we are not what we pretend to be." Listen as Larry shares some thoughts about what it means to apply the First Agreement:  BE IMPECCABLE WITH YOUR WORD.  Note: If interested, the above referenced book is available from most booksellers and can be  borrowed from your local library. Support the show

In this episode, I share about the 2nd Agreement - Don't Take Anything Personally, from the book The Four Agreements by don Miguel Ruiz. "Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won't be the victim of needless suffering." The author states that if you can incorporate the first 2 agreements - Be Impeccable With Your Word and Don't Take Anything Personally, that will break about 75% of all your sufferings. What others say and do is their own projection of hurt and suffering. As you accept this, you can choose to follow your heart with inner peace, and nothing will affect you. Over the next 2 weeks, I'll be sharing about the 3rd and 4th Agreements. Enjoy!

In this episode, I share from the book The Four Agreements. The first agreement is: Be Impeccable With Your Word. The words we use are a powerful force in creation. John 1:1 says - "In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God." We first create spiritually through what we see and what we say. Our words have the power to create heaven on earth. They also have the power to create hell for ourselves and others. They are like a 2 edged sword. Depending on how it is used, the word can set you free, or it can enslave you. In this episode, I share what it means to be impeccable with your word to breathe in light, and love to yourself and others. Over the next few episodes, I will be sharing each of the Four Agreements from Don Miguel Ruiz's book "The Four Agreements."

What do The Four Agreements - In The Four Agreements, don Miguel Ruiz reveals the source of self-limiting beliefs that rob us of joy and create needless suffering. Based on ancient Toltec wisdom, The Four Agreements offer a powerful code of conduct that can rapidly transform our lives to a new experience of freedom, true happiness, and love. 1: Be Impeccable With Your Word. Words have energy and power with the ability to help, to heal, to hinder, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate, and to humble.” Think of the power we wield and the impact we can make if we become more intentional about encouraging our sponsored children. The right words make all the difference. 2: Don't Take Anything Personally. Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won't be the victim of needless suffering. 3: Don't Make Assumptions. Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness, and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life. 4: Always Do Your Best. Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse, and regret. In the process of taking up our God-given space one must make the consistent choice to be authentic. Authenticity is the quality of being authentic. Authentic is defined as genuine, based on facts; accurate or reliable. “Authenticity is the daily practice of letting go of who we think we're supposed to be and embracing who we are.Choosing authenticity meanscultivating the courage to be imperfect, to set boundaries, and to allow ourselves to be vulnerable;exercising the compassion that comes from knowing that we are all made of strength and struggle; andnurturing the connection and sense of belonging that can only happen when we believe we are strong enough.Authenticity demands Wholehearted living and loving – even when it's hard, even when we're wrestling with the shame and fear of not being good enough, and especially when the joy is so intense that we're afraid to let ourselves feel it.Mindfully practicing authenticity during our most soul-searching struggles is how we invite grace, joy and gratitude into our lives.”Source – The Gifts of Imperfection, Brene Brown"Based on ancient Toltec wisdom, the Four Agreements offer a powerful code of conduct that can rapidly transform our lives to a new experience of freedom, true happiness, and love. Eat Move Meditate - Living with Awareness, for Awareness.

When we lie, we choose a story over reality. When we give our energy to the story instead of reality, then we become more invested in our mentality than reality. Where attention goes, energy flows.Losing touch with reality is a definition of psychosis.None of our actions is free of consequences - how we think now will shape how we think later. If we lie now, then it will be easier to lie later - plus we've invested more of ourselves into the mental story instead of reality. A feedback loop that can slowly imprison us.When our stories' magnetic pulls become stronger, it gets more difficult to detach our awareness from their activity (our minds). However, a major goal of our meditation is to observe our minds more freely - lying is in opposition to that.Research shows that lying is linked with a host of unwanted physiological effects. Just observing dishonesty can induce stress.Lying stems from non-acceptance of what is. Non-acceptance breeds anxiety. Anxiety and psychosis are an uncomfortable cocktail. Lying, even small white lies, is one of a few ways that we give our power away to the default mode network of our automatic animal side. The wisdom teachings have tried to guide us to reduce our suffering - this is why truthfulness has been important to all of them. Not because our behaviours are being judged, but because we harm ourselves so easily without knowing it.Our actualisation depends on us honouring Don Miguel Ruiz's first agreement; Be Impeccable With Your Word. Or, slip further into the psychosis of mental stories.

The old adage "actions speak louder than words" is what we have all heard before and it's an important lesson to learn. But, how many of us actually live by this? It can be hard to always behave with impeccable integrity, but if you want to succeed in your professional life, then being impeccable with your word is the foundation of your success. There are so many things that go into becoming a well-respected professional: active listening skills, communication skills, organization skills...the list goes on and on. However one thing that professionals need more than anything else is honesty; without honesty there isn't any way for people who work with them or know them personally to trust them. The truth is that we are all human beings. And we make mistakes. We do not need to be perfect, but what we can do is try to be better every day. It’s important to remember that our words have an impact on other people, so it’s up to us how we want them to perceive us. If you are a person who always says what they think without second thoughts, this episode is for you! Be impeccable with your word by following the Four Agreements and watch as your life improves in many ways. You will feel more confident when speaking or writing because you know that you put in an effort into being honest with yourself and others around you. Which is absolutely critical right now. By saying only what needs to be said instead of blurting out whatever comes into our minds, we can become more mindful about how others perceive us based on our words alone. Our communication skills can improve dramatically when we use fewer words because everything has been carefully thought through before. Be impeccable with your word and watch your professional success soar to new heights. This episode draws upon the work of Don Miguel Ruiz and his book “The Four Agreements” Agreement 1: Be Impeccable With Your Word. Agreement 2: Don't Take Anything Personally.
