After a thumping defeat in the first Test of the Border Gavaskar series against India it seems like changes are afoot in the Australian camp. Josh Hazlewood is ruled out with injury, and one of the men added to the squad is Tasmanian Beau Webster. Beau joined Corbin Middlemas on Summer Grandstand, and so did Alagappan Muthu from Cricinfo, Darren Lehmann, Stuart Clark, fast bowler Jhye Richardson, tennis great John Fitzgerald, and Melbourne Renegades skipper Sophie Molineaux ahead of the WBBL Final on Sunday.

In this episode of the show, Baldy and Stu review the first Test of the 2024/25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy series, which saw India start slowly but then roar back to dominate Australia and make a number of significant statements at Optus Stadium. We talk about Jasprit Bumrah's leadership (and his magnificent bowling), the patience and application shown by KL Rahul & Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Virat Kohli's return to form. There are questions about where it all went wrong for Australia, what to do with Marnus Labuschagne, as well as praise for their bowlers - Josh Hazlewood in particular - along with declarations, DRS decisions, debutants and much more as we unpack this fascinating game. We'll be back in your feed again in the next 24 hours with our initial reaction to the IPL mega auction, and then at the conclusion of the first Test in the Black Caps v England series.
