Alright. Here we go. 06:00 hour. Let's go to Chuck in Mills River and talk to him. What's going on, my man? Oh, wheels track. That brings I'd forgotten all about that, man. Those things were lethal. I got dude, I got whooped so many times, but not as many as I should have. Yeah. I I the the the one that terrified us all, I think, more than anything was go pick your own switch. Yeah. And you Penny's like, you better not bring back no punny little thing. Yeah. Might have had that. Pick it, and I see dad coming back with a club from the woods. You know? Pick those leaves and those little small branches off going, oh, man. It's a But but, yeah, that was a disturbing that was a disturbing thing you played earlier. And and, yeah, I I I gotta agree, man. These kids today, if I could get they asked you, if you could go back in time and kill one person, who would it be? Doctor Spock, because that was that was the beginning of the end right there. Yeah. There's a difference, like your one caller said earlier. There's a difference between discipline and and violence. Yeah. And it's just there's a difference, man. Yeah. I I made my son go sit in his bedroom for a bit. You think about what you've done. Right. You know, and I use that voice, you know, and he's like but, the the issue, I think, we got you know, you were talking about single moms. I I you know, we've all we all know them, and we there's no getting around it. And, yes, plenty of good kids come from single parent families. But think about how much better those kids could have been possibly. And, yes, the big argument is, oh, well, you know, Father's Day beat their kids and stuff like that. Right. You know? But that's the the whole I don't need no man, you don't seem complaining about uncle Sam, do you? Right. Exactly. Take away their WIC. You take away you take away their Medicaid. You take away no. No. You do it all by your no. If you don't do it, they say, oh, I did it all by myself. No. Hell, you didn't. Right. You did not, and that's what ticks me off. And until I think, like you say, Gen x or Gen z rather coming up, I think maybe they're learning a lesson. I mean, my son is in there with his girlfriend in the house right now. I'm sitting out in the yard. I ain't got a problem with it. They're not doing anything stupid because they know. They're they're no. They're both they they've come up under they've they've seen what happens. Yeah. They've they know what happens. They've got friends that have screwed up. Right. And they're teenagers, man. And I've lived in the hood. I've seen these these women I've seen a single mom could be one of the most violent people towards kids in the world, man. You'd see these women in Walmart beating the crap out of their kids. But, again, I just I cannot stress enough how young men need to treat young ladies with respect. Right. They need to respect their body. They need to respect their mind. And here's the thing though, Chuck. The young ladies need to respect themselves. I that was where I was going next. Dude, you're mind reader. You got your hero cards out, Charlie. That's right. But that's I I I really think that that you're the more we talk about it, the more it's gonna come to light and the more people are starting to listen. We all know we all know single moms, and the last thing you wanna do is tick off a a single mom, tell her, you know, and that's nobody wants that. Nobody wants to hear that because but but to let the kids know to be there for them, I've been I've I've I've been a father figure to a lot of kids in my life. Mhmm. And for some reason, kids just, you know, I like riding bikes. I like hot wheels and stuff like that. Speaking of hot wheels tracks. And and just try to for for those kids that need someone, a a a male role model, and I'm not necessarily the best there is. But I'm telling you, be as be as good a man as you know how to be around these kids that have no father because they don't they don ...
Supreme Court looking into birthright citizenship. This might not be ruled on until June, which is gonna be here before you know it exactly. But all of these Democrats, they're if you wanna find out what a constitutional amendment really means, the best way to do that is go and look at the at what the people that wrote it said about it. In this case, it's senator Jacob Howard. He was one of the people that authored the fourteenth amendment back in 1866. And this is one of those topics that everybody on the left that they love, oh, we go we're gonna change hundreds of years of law and blah blah blah blah blah. But we're not. What has actually happened was the Democrats have used the fourteenth amendment incorrectly for this amount of time. When you go back and you ex look exactly what Jacob Howard said about the fourteenth amendment, I don't think he stuttered on this thing. Not at all. Let's go right now to Deese, Kalen. He is with the, Washington Examiner. Deese Kalen Deese, Kalen, how are you? Hi. Thanks for having me on. Great to be with you. Alright. So all of this really goes back to senator Jacob Howard, one of the authors of the fourteenth amendment. What do you think the Supreme Court really wants to hear about during these arguments? So the Supreme Court today was very much interested in hearing more about the arguments of bringing, more of a, regulation to nationwide injunctions rather than the fourteenth amendment itself. Mhmm. And I think that that was sort of the issue today is that it was a very double barreled, court case. There was that temptation to talk about the origins of the fourteenth amendment and whether it confers the right to birthright citizenship. But at the same time, that wasn't really the task at hand. And I think that that was something that made, for more confusion as to what the justices are ultimately gonna decide with this case whenever they issue a ruling perhaps in the next couple of weeks. And I think that from what we gathered today, there was definitely more, I would say, democratic appointed justices that were interested in talking about the actual birthright, executive order that president Trump has put in place. And and and if and if you're listening to their words intently enough, then you might come away from it thinking, well, this executive order seems to maybe have a pretty steep chance of passing their muster. But I would also put the caveat where the Republican appointed justices were not really entertaining any parts of the merits of that executive order. So it kind of created a, an unfair, you know, balance where it seemed like there was more negative attention going toward the executive order whenever that wasn't even the issue that they had to deal with before them. Now I know Ketanji Brown Jackson. She said was she was in favor of these lower courts issuing their orders because that way, the administration would have to go to the Supreme Court quicker. Yeah. It seemed like that that was sort of the idea that the Supreme Court could handle this, in the way that that from from her perspective that the Supreme Court could continue to handle these cases in the way that things are going. But, obviously, we saw that with this case, it became a special oral argument session, in the May, which you know, are they going to do that for every single controversial, you know, alleged controversial executive order that is going to, you know, get stalled by a lower court judge? I mean, the fact of the matter is is that one of the things that was brought up and, rightfully noted is that, you know, nationwide injunctions really weren't popularized until the nineteen sixties, the 1963 case at the DC, circuit court. So I think that, you know, we've seen a steady pattern even in administrations before Trump where lower court judges have progressively begun to, you know, take, you know, stiff aim at the powers of, of of executive authority. And so the justices are now trying to toi ...

It is we have had such a wet, spring out there. Unbelievable how much rain we've had, but at least it's nights out there, momentarily. But this is the time of year we always get those, afternoon and evening thunderstorms and things like that. So, okay. I wanted let's just jump back in the way back machine for a minute. Just for a minute. And go back to a pivotal moment or what would become a pivotal moment in American history. It was one can you believe it? It was one year ago today one year ago today that Joe Biden and his campaign decided that they needed to release a video. They were gonna release a video, y'all. And, boy, I'd tell you what a oh, they got this, and I'm pretty sure they took them, like, thirty, forty takes to get it right because it was Joe. But they needed it they needed to be authoritative. They needed it to be tough because everybody said Joe Biden wasn't tough, and Joe Biden likes to pretend he's a tough guy. He's a fake tough guy. So they released this video. And what did the video say? Oh, boy. Here we go. Wait a minute. Where is it? Hold on. Hold on. Here it here it is. You don't wanna miss this. Here we go. Donald Trump lost two debates to me in 2020. It said that he hadn't shown up for debate. Now he's acting like he wants to debate me again. Well, make my day, pal. I'll even do it twice. So let's pick the dates, Donald. I hear you're free on Wednesdays. Donald Trump And what happened? Yeah. They did the debate, and that was the end. That was the end of Joe Biden. That was the literally, that night, as we all gathered to there together a bit at Willy Taco, and we watched that debate, that was the end. We didn't we didn't even we didn't even realize that we were all excited. We didn't even realize what was gonna happen on that night. We got together. We're reading. We were excited. We knew it was gonna be good. And then that debate happened, and we all sat there with our mouths open going, oh, my word. This is the worst thing we've ever seen. It was we're literally watching a slow motion train wreck happen on in front of the world. In front of the world. We had known all of us have been saying, you know, Joe Biden's got mental decline. Joe Biden's cognitive abilities are slipping. Joe Biden is just he's he's not he's missing a couple of steps. But everybody in the mainstream, he was like, oh, no. He's sharp as a tack. Everything is great. I've never seen him better. This version of even, morning Joe, this version of Joe Biden, Joe Biden two point o. This is the, oh, this is the best he's ever been. He's just amazing. And then that night happened, that debate. We knew we were right. We knew we were right, and Joe Biden proved it. Donald Trump didn't have to do Donald Trump practically didn't have to do anything in that debate. It was one great line, where where where Trump says, I I don't know what he's saying. I don't I don't think he does either. And everybody's like, wow. Yes. It was an absolute slaughter. It was such a slaughter that when Donald Trump debated Kamala Harris, it was three against one. You had the two moderators and Kamala Harris. All three of them were debating Donald Trump. That's how bad the Joe Biden debate went. They had to triple team Trump in the Harris debate. It was unbelievable. But now now we find out that everything that they well, everything that we believed, they knew. They knew all of this was happening. Nobody needs to hear that because but but to let the kids know to be there for them, I've been I've I've I've been a father figure to a lot of kids in my life. Mhmm. And for some reason, kids just you know, I like riding bikes. I like Hot Wheels and stuff like that, speaking of Hot Wheels tracks. And and just try to for for those kids that need someone, a a male role model, and I'm not necessarily the best there is. But I'm telling you, be as be as good a man as you know how to be around these kids that have no father because they don't t ...
I pledge allegiance to the flag of The United States Of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Oh, beautiful for spacious skies, for amber waves of grain, for purple mountain majesties above the fruit of the plain. America. America. America is back. Yes, sir. Welcome back to the program. Alright. Idaho, South Dakota, Iowa, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, West Virginia, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina all have something in common. They ban abortion at either conception or after six weeks. Well, the South Carolina Supreme Court has upheld that in the courts. Let's talk with South Carolina state representative Josiah Magnuson, right now. Josiah, welcome to the program. This is a pretty big deal for the Supreme Court. Right? Thank you, Charlie. Yes. Absolutely. This is a big win. And, you know, I think those that were paying attention knew that we had to uphold it. You know, this was so important that we, you know, not go with what planned parenthood was saying. Planned parenthood, you know, I think their arguments were just really illogical, but we have, fortunately, a pretty conservative supreme court, now, and they upheld the state law. And, you know, we're gonna continue to protect unborn babies, beginning about six weeks, you know, when the heartbeat can be detected. Yeah. Now they say, you know, planned parenthood's argument was like, yep. That's not a real that's not really a heartbeat. That's not really a heartbeat. Heart doesn't form until nine weeks is what they were saying. Right? Yeah. So they're trying to say that the law can only take effect once essentially, the the baby's heart is fully formed, which is around nine weeks. But there is cardiac activity Yeah. Beginning around six weeks. And so that was pretty clear that that was the intent of the law. And this is where it's really important that we have good debate and articulate things correctly when we're talking on the floor of the house because it affects what we call legislative intent. Mhmm. And that's what the Supreme Court looked at was the legislative intent. What did the legislature intend to do? It's very clear that the that the legislature intended to prohibit abortion as soon as that cardiac activity can be detected because you can hear the heart, you know, beating even though it's not fully formed. You can hear the heart beating beginning at six weeks. That was what the law, said, and so that was what the Supreme Court upheld. In this article that I'm reading, it says, if the Supreme Court sides with South Carolina, which they did, its decision could pave the way for other registry states to cut Planned Parenthood out of their Medicaid program. Is that the plan? That would be the hope. That's a a court case that's at the federal level right now. Right. But we haven't seen the results yet. I've been proposing, I think, you know, Charlie, you know, to try to take the planned parent funding out of the state budget. Mhmm. And that's been, you know, not, adopted, unfortunately. But McMaster has some executive work that he's been doing an executive action to take, Planned Parenthood out from being a Medicaid provider and just say they're they're they're not counted in that system. And so that's been challenging court. So that's what now is gonna come back from the from the US Supreme Court hopefully pretty soon. Right. We're talking about Josiah Magdiss and South Carolina representatives. So what was the what was the amendment that was put forward? Was it Jordan Pace that that put this forward the other day on the last day of session? So that is something that would have allowed us I'm I'm glad you're bringing this up because that would have allowed us to actually come back and deal with a pro life bill again in the off season. We have something called sine die Right. Which is the law that determines wha ...
And welcome to the program on your Wednesday afternoon. Glad to have you along with us. Well, there's been a lot of talk today about the Greenville County budget and how it's going to affect Greenville County schools. Well, I figured we would go right to the horse's mouth, so to speak, and talk with the chairman of the Greenville County Council. Benton Blunt is joining us. Benton, welcome to the program. Hope you're doing well. I'm doing pretty well, but I'm glad you said from the horse's mouth, you're ass too peaceful, and that's what I feel like today. Oh, boy. I bet. Yeah. Well, thanks for joining us, and fighting through the pain there. So what is going on with the budget, and and how is it affecting the Greenville County Schools? Alright. I'll try to make this as quick as I can, but it's pretty complex. So from a 30,000 foot view, the new upcoming Greenville County budget, a lot of different things happening that people seen in the past. We're going to a one year budget, so there's no more two year budgets. It's just fiscal year '20 '20 '6. Right. We have a 1.5 reduction in property taxes, which is a mandate from the new members of council who came in, under that mandate. We have increased our roads budget from 13,000,000 to 40,000,000, which puts us up there where we're supposed to be or at least close, to Charleston County and some of the other counties like that. We're fully funding our public safety through our sheriff's department, EMS, and other services. But the way that we got to this place was from a unique situation with Filo agreements. And Filos are obviously where, new manufacturing jobs come to Greenville County. In the first five years, if they don't go into a Filo agreement, we receive no income at all. We receive no revenue at all. Yeah. But through a Filo, we get money upfront, which is what this program is for and also to to bring high quality jobs to the Upstate. When we started this budget out, I spoke with the administrator, and I asked about how these funds were allocated. And, you know, I said it would be wonderful if we could use this system that sometimes controversial in the public to do something good with it, which is fund our road system. And he looked into it and said, you know what, Benton? We do have the ability to do that, and, let me see what we can do, which brought us to today. Now where the school board comes in, the Greenville County School System does get a portion of these Filos, which I still have a lot of questions as to why this money was ever allocated to them when they operate off residential, and this is solely manufacturing jobs. Yeah. Right. In the southern part of the county. All that to say, we made those adjustments. We didn't know the specific numbers, but we knew that we would be sitting somewhere around 40,000,000 with the additional c funds we did thankfully receive from the state. We received more state money finally for once, and so that's what totaled the 40,000,000. The estimated amount that would be lost by the school system from reallocating the FELO percentages was at first around 8 to $10,000,000. But we found out as of yesterday, because we just got the numbers back, that it's actually $14,000,000. Along with that, our municipalities would be losing, up to a million dollars. We have some fire districts that will be losing up to a half a million in the Southern part of Greenville County. So that, of course, started a big conversation. School system definitely felt like they were caught, you know, after they had already decided not to increase taxes, they were caught blindsided. And Right. While I do take that into account, we we have a job as county council for core funds of govern or Oh, are you there? There you go. I'm sorry. You gotta go back to and and start where you, left off just a few seconds ago as a a core value of county government. Yes. Our sole responsibility we have core functions of government that we have to focus on, and one of ...

I know we talked about it a little bit before, but let's do it again. Idaho, Texas, Oklahoma, South Carola South Dakota, Iowa, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, West Virginia, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida all have banned abortion at conception or after six weeks. Well, the South Carolina Supreme Court recently upheld that here in South Carolina. Joining us right now is representative John McCravy, who is, very excited about this bill. Representative McCravy, welcome to the program. Hope you're doing well. Thank you, Charlie. Thanks for having me on. So it was I mean, that was good news from the Supreme Court, five to zero, upholding it. Right? It was. And and it was a good common sense opinion. It took them 27 pages to say that if you hear the heartbeat, the baby is protected. So so but but it was a good decision. And, you know, one of the things that the family caucus and I have worked hard on is to make sure we get conservative judges Right. Who don't don't replace their opinion for our constitution and for for law. Is it let me ask you something. I mean, is are there changes that need to be made to the South Carolina constitution about abortion? You know, that's a that's an issue. We we don't have in South Carolina. We do not have, that type of those type of laws that they have in California where they just willy nilly change the constitution. We'd have to have a two thirds vote of both bodies to even get to that. But we're elected and we're supposed to go down there and do what our people elect us to do. And so that's what we we try to do, you know? And and I wanna say this, Charlie, and I I know, you know, I I I was the author of the heartbeat bill originally, and I I authored a lot of the changes to it that that are in there now. But I wanna say this, the heartbeat bill was never written to be the final bill for South Carolina. The final bill that we wrote for it and representative Magnuson was on the committee, that you had on earlier. He's been a a staunch supporter of life from day one. But but we wrote something called the Human Life Protection Act that is that is still sitting in the house judiciary along with about 10 other good bills. So we've we've got to we've got to keep fighting because we're still having 2,000 babies a year aborted for birth control in South Carolina. Right. So it's it's a time to say, okay. This is great, but we can't stop there. We can't we can't allow that many children to be killed in South Carolina. And so we're gonna continue to fight for that. I'm never gonna give up fighting for that. You know that, Charlie. Oh, I absolutely know that. So let me ask something. What is the difference between the bill we have now and the Human Life Protection Act? The Human Life Protection Act would protect babies in the womb. If if a woman is pregnant, that baby is protected. Mhmm. So it would take it back basically to conception, but but at least it would protect any baby that is in the womb. So now for birth control. Now, you know, the whether the exceptions come in, that's another issue, by a lot of different things. But but we don't want birth control to be applied to living babies. Like the abortion pill? That's right. And and and all other types as well. That's right. That's right. Charlie, they they're sending those things in. That's another whole story I could talk about for an hour. Yeah. But but we have a lot of bad things going on. But but, you know, what I wanna emphasize is let's please get the Human Life Protection Act out of that house judiciary committee along with a lot of other good things that need to come out, like closing the primaries, house judiciary Right. Ranked choice voting, house judiciary, student privacy act, keeping men out of girls' lives, house judiciary, punishing preventing parents from being punished from affirming their own biological sex with their child. Yeah. House judiciary. Changing the sex on the ...

Well, it's time for the 06:00 club. Welcome. Welcome. Welcome. Let's go to Richard in Dallas. Richard, you you got some information about, some of those solar panel farms. Right? Well, that's what the chat a minute about. That young man was on the phone a while ago. I'm sure he has a firsthand experience because he said he lost some acreage in his hunt club to a a a a some Solar fire. Yeah. Installer. Yeah. Okay. And I'm sure the numbers he told out there were true and accurate because he was probably sent in on the meeting of the landowner and the hunt club president, and the landowner said, listen, guys. This is what's happening. Now I gotta take this deal. The thing about it is the property and I didn't know this. Well, I didn't but I didn't know that this panel wore out in fifteen years. But the problem is, in my opinion, the landowner still owns the land. They may have got a $2,000,000 upfront payment, but they still I know a guy that But it's leasing land Yeah. To a farm. Okay? Solar farm. He got a big deposit, and he's got about 80 acres, And he gets a check every quarter. Yeah. And every every 12 months, that goes up 6%. Wow. Okay? Yeah. 6%. That's not bad, man. That's why these other that's why these land owners that own this property, what, 400 acres that we're talking about earlier? That's a lot of money. That's why they wanna get rid of it because it's flat in their own pocket. Yep. You're right. But they don't realize in fifteen years, if that's true, what they got is a mess on their hands that supposedly is no way to dispose of. Yeah. What are they gonna do? Just dismantle them, take them all out, and replace them? I don't know. They don't know. They're just gonna move on. They're just gonna move on. Yeah. You're right. How about that? Appreciate it, Richard. Let's go to Jeff. He's over in Commerce, Georgia. Jeff, tell us about those solar farms over there, pal. Hey, Charlie. I'm in Comer, Georgia, C 0 M E R. Oh, you're in Comer. Okay. Great. What's up? Yeah. We we live in Oglethorpe County. So we just had a situation here where they came in with a solar farm, bought it from a timber company, 3,000 acres. Wow. So where are you gonna put 3,000 acres of solar panels in fifteen years in your landfill? It's gonna be classified as hazardous waste, but that's not the main problem. They they touted us as, oh, it's gonna bring in jobs to your county, which is a very rural county. Yeah. Yeah. It brought in jobs because I sat down on the road and watched them when they were doing it multiple times. The jobs, the count the the tags were from Texas Yeah. Colorado, Arizona. We had one job as a security guard on that road, but that's not the main thing. The main thing is the runoff from that solar farm Yeah. Devastated everybody, their farms, their their lakes, their streams, and it's a major environmental problem. Yeah. You're right. I mean, that water, when it hits those solar panels, where does it go? Yeah. And they took out 3,000 acres Wow. Of pristine, beautiful trees to put up a solar farm. I'm just gonna imagine looking for us? I'm just gonna imagine since it's Georgia, though those are pine trees. So I'm just kinda wondering. I mean, that's 3,000 acres off the market for all of that really renewable resource that is our trees. This wasn't just pine trees. This was a hardwood forest. Oh, really? That's even worse. Which even which even made it worse. Yeah. Yeah. So o Oglethorpe County, Georgia, county seed is Lexington. Somebody wants to give the county commissioner a call and ask him, hey. Would he do that again? I guarantee you, he's screaming about it right now. Yeah. Probably so. All the jobs all the jobs came from Texas. Such regret. Such regret when they when they chase after that dollar. Jeff, I appreciate it, man. Thank you so much. That's so you folks out there with that 400 acre solar farm, what's gonna happen to everything around it? It's not gonna be good. It never is. All of this gr ...

Would he do that again? I guarantee you, he's screaming about it right now. Yeah. Probably so. All the jobs all the jobs came from Texas. Such regret. Such regret when they when they chase after that dollar. Jeff, I appreciate it, man. Thank you so much. That's so you folks out there with that 400 acres solar farm, what's gonna happen to everything around it? It's not gonna be good. It never is. All of this green ...
It's Donald Trump. We're having a lot of fun doing a good show with Charlie. Thank you very much, sir. We really appreciate that. Let's go to the PhD weight loss talk line. We'll talk to Janet in Gastonia about that big, old, beautiful bill. What's on your mind, Janet? Hey, Charlie. Hello? Wanted to know if it's true. I've been hearing a lot of, different stories claiming that the big, beautiful bill does not contain no tax on Social Security. Have you heard anything about that? I'll be honest with you. The only thing that we've heard about this bill is what the different committees have been saying. So I don't know if it's in there or not. I'm not sure. I hope they get it in there because I hate for the folks on Social Security to pay taxes again on something that they've earned way back when. Ain't that the truth? You're exactly right about that, but we'll see what happens with that bill, Janet. Appreciate your call. Well, one of the things that the Trump administration has really been working hard on is eliminating all of these ridiculous regulations from the Biden administration. When you look at the cost of all the things you have, there are regulations tied to that. I mean, just what look what they wanted to do. They wanted to do away with your gas stove. They wanted to do away with that. They wanted to do away with your gas dryer. I've never even known anybody that had a gas dryer, but the people that have talked about them have said they're wonderful. They wanted to do away with your gas water heater. They wanted to do away with natural gas altogether. Now it was pretty hypocritical, especially since there were pictures of, Nancy Pelosi and, and and and Elizabeth Warren and, Kamala Harris all standing in front of their beautiful gas ranges. But they wanted to do away away with all of that. Look at how many regulations. Look how many regulations the government has imposed on Americans. How may how much water your toilet can use. Right? Your ridiculous gas cans that they make you use now, I don't even bother with them. I just go buy me an aftermarket funnel attachment for my gas can. I put the little vent valve on there, and I'm good to go. I take that piece anytime they put a valve on a gas cap on a gas can that you have to go to the website to find out how to use, it's a bad idea. It's literally pouring liquid into a container. Now they wanted to come along and talk about it with safety issues. No. It's not. It was all about the the environment, blah blah blah. But that's where they've been primarily focused. All of these things in the Biden administration, it's all been about that's that's all these so called inflation reduction act was about. And even Joe Biden admitted that that wasn't even the real name of the bill. It was the Green New Deal. Was another regulation that they've had, maybe you've had to deal with it. It was a few weeks ago. My wife and I went up to Rhode Island to visit my mother-in-law, and we rented a car rented a car. So we're driving out of the was it Hertz? Driving out of the Hertz lot, and we come to a stop sign. And I stopped the car, and the car shuts off. And my wife says, oh, no. What happened? And I said, it's a new thing. It's a new thing, honey. So then I stepped on the gas, but a boom, car starts back up. It's that auto stop auto start thing, the start stop technology that they put into these cars. And a lot of people, not surprisingly, hate it. They can't stand it. Now you can disable it, but you can only disable it for that trip. So let's just say I don't know. Let's just say you're going to Golden Corral, get you some breakfast. You can disable it in your driveway, drive to Golden Corral. But once you get back in and you're all full as a tick and you're going back home, you gotta disable it again. People loathe it. Well, the US Environmental Protection Agency administrator Lee Zeldin said and and by the way, isn't it funny that we just completely forgot about there ...

And welcome back to the program. Let's go to the PhD weight loss talk line. We'll talk to Ponda in Spartanburg. How you doing, Ponda? I'm doing good. This is my first time calling into your show. Well, then you get the bell. You get the bell. In my personal opinion, if these immigrants do not want ICE to decide what prison they're gonna be taken to, then they need to take the thousand dollars that president Trump is offering them Yep. And get the heck out of Dodge. I agree. He's given them an out. Yeah. Exactly. So what's the problem? I don't You know? Well, I don't I don't see a problem with it. And, Ponda, I appreciate it. Thank you. I mean, it's a brilliant idea. Take that one app that allowed them to get in under the Biden administration. They flipped it around and said, hey. We're gonna give you a way out. You click that self deport tab on your phone. Go to an airport, they will fly you back to your home country, and once it is verified that you have left the country, they're gonna give you a thousand bucks. Now I know a lot of people we've had a big discussion about this a few days ago, but it cost an average. This is just for a basic deportation, like the base model deportation. It costs 17 it costs American taxpayers $17,000 per deportee. That's just a routine one. Let's go to Chuck in Mills River. Chuck, what did you think about my conversation with Mary who is more famous now than she ever thought she would be? That's why she called Charlie. She knows, man. You're, like, big time. She she's made the big time. I I hate to jump on this bandwagon like my butt's on fire and my head's catching. But Yeah. I any anytime anybody tells you that they're a good Christian Yeah. Chances are they're not. I'm not I'm not calling into question her faith or anything, but I wonder how she feels about vouchers for kids going to Christian schools that their parents want them to because they were we were instructed to raise our children in the ways of the Lord. Yeah. I wonder if she believes in selling her cloak to buy a sword. No. I wonder it's it's just to listen to that, this is what we're up against. And this is why I think eventually it's gonna come to a fight is because these people just and I'm the same way about how I feel, but I can back my stuff up with with proof. I can back my stuff up with facts. And, again, you know, I've said on your show, there's things I don't like about Trump, and I'll tell you all about him. Yeah. But right now, he is the man for the job. He's the man we need. And to stick your head in the the sand and pretend that that the Democrats are just being good Christians? Right. Really? Exactly. Is she is she pro life? Is she, you think? No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. I I I I checked out her Facebook page, and it is just nothing but liberal propaganda, Chuck. It it really is amazing. Don't wash up, Charlie. Yeah. I need to. I appreciate it. Get some anti taking my dog off. Disinfectant. I appreciate it. Sean is at 96. Sean, what's going on out there? Hey, Charlie. Hey, bud. How are you doing today? I'm great. What's going on? Hey. Just a little about the the immigrants you're talking about. When I was at the post courier printing newspapers in '95, I went down to Jacksonville because I thought about relocating. And I got down there, and they left my application. And before I left, the foreman down there, the pressroom supervisor said, your resume looks great. We'd love to have you here, but you'll never be hired. And I said, why not? He says, you're the wrong nationality. Yeah. Yeah. So I spent the next twenty five years at Post and Courier printing newspapers, listening to you down there. Yep. I well, I appreciate it, buddy. I thank you very much, but you're right. I mean, it's that's going on all over the place. Let's go to Richard in Dallas. Richard, welcome. Hey, Charles. You doing alright? I'm doing great. I pledge allegiance to the flag of The United States Of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Oh, beautiful for spacious skies, for amber waves of grain, for purple mountain majesties above the fruit America is back. Yes, sir. Inflation Clemson. Fred, what's on your mind this afternoon? I think I have an idea why the Democrats want all these organized criminals, in the country. Alright. Okay. In Venezuela, there's the cartel of the sons, and they've been given free reign by the government to do whatever they wanna do. In return, the cartels persuade the citizenry to vote for the incumbency. Uh-huh. And as far as the opposition is concerned, they either intimidate them or eliminate them. This is long term here. Persuade, and I'm pretty sure they persuade with the threat of violence. Right? Absolutely. So, I mean, you might be right. You you might be right. So what? Yep. That's that's my thoughts on it. When they get back in power, they'll want a cartel of their own. Yeah. You're right about that. I appreciate it, Fred. Yeah. They do, try to employ some cartel tactics. Well, we got some news today about president Joe Biden, former president Joe Biden. He has a small nodule on his prostate that needs further evaluation is according to multiple reports. Of course, Joe Biden, eighty two years old. We certainly hope it's not cancer. We hope that Biden recovers fully and lives a long, healthy life. Absolutely. But his health has been a big concern and was a concern for a long time in his in his last couple of years of his administration. Now here's the thing, though. Everybody this was like the worst kept secret in Washington DC. Everybody was telling you, no. Joe Biden is sharp as attack. Joe I I don't even remember Jen Psaki, wasn't it? Or or was it Karim Jean Pierre? I can't even keep up with the guy. I mean, he's just he's just one big bundle of energy, but now we're finding out that none of that is true. The mainstream media covered up for Joe Biden horribly. Horribly. Remember they always say, oh, he's sharp as a tack sharp as a tack. Yes, sir. I've never seen him sharper. He is just a he's just amazing. And then the debate happened. And once that debate happened, it was out there. All of a sudden, the emperor had no clothes. And even CNN had to sit there, and I remember Van Jones are like, this was a disaster. I don't know how you recover from this, but it was something that the mainstream media kept trying to cover up. And now at least one of them is trying to actually capitalize on this, Jake Tapper. Now I'm gonna be taking a couple of days off coming up at the end of the month and, gonna go down to Coco, my wife and I. Gonna sit on the beach, get a little sun. I'm thinking about getting this book from Jake Tapper. It's called original sin. And the original sin that he talks about in that book is the media's cover up of Joe Biden and just how bad it was. Let's take a listen to Jake Tapper, as he was, being interviewed over on CNN. I'm curious about what his advisers were saying at the time, as you look at this, as you reported out this book. So the White House physician, doctor Kevin O'Connor, was telling White House aids, that president Biden's deterioration of his spine, the degeneration was so significant that if he fell one more time, that he might have to be in a wheelchair and serve in a wheelchair, for his second term. But everybody pushed off the notion that he used a wheelchair until after the election. This is all part of a larger hole where the Biden White House tried to hide the extent of his deterioration, both physical and cognitive, as much as possible. In fact, as you we all know, we all saw, as his shuffling gait got worse and worse from 02/2003 to 02/2004, they started putting aids around him as he walked to Marine One, the helicopter that was to kind of hide from public view how bad his gait was, how bad his wa ...

And welcome to the program on your Tuesday afternoon. And and look at that. Hey. It's not raining. That's awesome. I was, out, walking the dogs this morning, and my neighbor walked out of his, his, garage there. And he goes, oh, look. It's sunny. I said, yeah. Right? I know how you feel, pal. I know how you feel. But don't you worry. We still got that little chance of rain coming in, pretty much for the rest of the week that's gonna be around with us. So there you go. The dogs are actually loving getting outside again. Well, I was thinking last night. I was standing at the window, my kitchen window, eating my supper because I don't know what it is. But I eat breakfast standing up, and I eat dinner standing up. I don't know why. Lunch, I sit down with my wife. That's our big meal of the, of the day is lunch. But for my dinner, I was standing there at the window as I'd eaten my salad, and, I got a thought. I got a thought about exactly what they're gonna be doing in Colombia, and it wasn't a good thought either. In fact, I'll tell you, it really is a good thought when I think about Colombia. I don't I don't remember last time I thought about Columbia fondly. It's been a long time, especially when our where our state legislature is concerned. So we know that governor Henry McMaster is real big for whatever reason. We don't know what the reason is, do we, governor McMaster? That he is all for this doctor Simmer to be the head of public health here in South Carolina. He's all for this guy. Even though this guy was all for mask mandates, he was all about the vaccines. He was all about vaccinating children, and we're finding out all of this stuff about the, these so called vaccines. More studies coming out every single day. And here we've got Simmer that was just a complete acolyte of doctor Fauci. He was I mean, in fact, I mean, you might even wanna say that that, Simmer is a Fauci wannabe. So because governor McMaster has somebody to make happy, he appointed doctor Simmer to be the head of public health in South Carolina. Now nobody wants this guy. I haven't talked to a single person. Not one single person said, you know, I think doctor Simmer would be a perfect fit. No. Everybody goes, lord, no. Keep that guy away from there. Get him out. We don't want him. So you had the senate bring it up. And we started talking about it on the program, and I I asked you guys to call your your state senator, and, boy, you did. You called your state senator like nobody's business, and they knew better. They knew better than to confirm this guy for the to be the head of the public health. So they they kinda dropped it. Kinda dropped it. They had a hearing. They had another hearing, and then you heard nothing else about it. Now the word is he never had the votes, so they didn't vote. He didn't have the votes, so they just didn't vote. And then it struck me last night. It struck me last night. Rather than doing what the people of South Carolina want, the governor is gonna do what he wants. He wants simmer because I don't know what favors he's gotta pay off. I don't know who he's gotta make happy, but he wants simmer in that post. So my thought was, you know what governor McMaster is gonna do? He's gonna make an off session appointment because you see the house and the senate, they're they're done for the year. They put in their fifty one days. They're done. We'll see you in January. Governor McMaster is going to appoint doctor Simmer in an off session appointment to be the head of public health here in South Carolina. That is going to happen. Go take that to the bank. That is absolutely gonna happen. And then what's gonna happen once the senate gets back in January? Well, number one, they're either not gonna bring it up. They're just going to well, that's and, basically, that's what's gonna happen. They're gonna get back in session, and they're just gonna let Simmer stay as the head of public health. That's it. Now I can imagine w ...

That's it. Now I can imagine what ...
I pledge allegiance to the flag of The United States Of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Oh, beautiful for spacious skies, for amber waves of grain, for purple mountain majesties above the fruit America is back. Yes, sir. Welcome back to the program. We appreciate you tuning in this afternoon, especially with all the winning that president Trump has done over the past couple of days. Let's go to Gene in great court. Gene, what do you think about president Trump? Charlie, I'm gonna ask you to start a movement here on your program with all of Charlie Champs. Okay. And that is we need to petition the Norwegian parliament to declare Donald Trump the next Nobel Peace Laureate. Yeah. He has done much to stabilize the world, to give the world clarity of direction and stability. Yeah. No question about it. And that includes the accomplishments of his, 40, fifth term, Charlie. Now, on the other hand, if they won't do it, then we have to demand that Barack Obama go on a special Oprah Winfrey show and return the Nobel Prize that they gave to him to say this rightfully belongs to Donald j Trump because I did nothing. You're exactly right. That that guy did nothing, got the Nobel Peace Prize. I appreciate it. Thank you, Jean. Man, I would kill to get a Nobel Peace Prize. Let's go to Tom in, Anderson and talk to him. Tom, welcome. Hey, Charlie. How are you today? Doing good. What's up, man? Well, I wanted to comment on the pharmaceutical price reduction. Yeah. It wasn't that many years ago that I recall that you could basically deal with some companies out of Canada. You could buy a drug manufactured here in The United States that was sold to Canada, and then in turn, somebody in Canada could sell it back to you Yeah. For half the price that you would pay if you bought it here. Yeah. And they're still making money, which you think to yourself so, basically, they're just, like, taking huge advantage of their own countrymen while but somehow, Canada's able to buy it so that it's cheaper. Reduce the price in half and still make dollars off of it. Yeah. The last time I got something, I I think they had sent it to Zimbabwe or something. Yeah. Right. And so they ship it all around the the world, and somehow it comes back to me at the half the price that I would pay if I went down to my local pharmacy and bought it. Yeah. And you're going Yep. This is insane. It really is. I'm glad he took care of that. I am too. I am too, Tom. I appreciate it. In fact, there's so many do you know I mean, like like, ivermectin? You know, in Mexico, that's over the counter. You you can go in and get ivermectin like you can get ibuprofen. Not here. Not here. But thanks to our FDA and the USDA, they got those restrictions on those. Well, we remember last week that a bunch of Democrats showed up at a an ICE detention facility in Newark, New Jersey. Remember that? And, oh, boy, and they caused a ruckus while they were there. Well, they might actually be paying the price for that ruckus. The Trump administration is warning there could be more arrests after three house Democrats attempted to push through ICE agents and enter a New Jersey immigration detention center on Friday. He just told me those lawmakers have oversight capacity. DHS had said, hey. You know, we would have let them in with proper channels, but instead, you saw that play out. Those Democrats, though, they're insisting they are the victims. That's right. They're always the victim. Now federal law enforcement exists to uphold the law. That's what they're supposed to do. They're not supposed to be there to be props for political stunts. They staged an unannounced inspection, quote, unquote, at a fully permitted ICE facility operating under a $1,000,000,000 contract with the GEO Group, then they cried foul when all their grandstanding collided with security protocols. The mayor trespassed after ignoring wa ...

Well, we got so much to talk about today, but I gotta hope that that all you moms out there, I hope you had the best Mother's Day ever. I really do. It was a I just I hope you did. Or or as one school district called it, special person's day. That's right. That yep. Yep. Yep. That's they went there. They absolutely went there. As I and I'll tell I'll give you more on this story about coming up in a little bit. But they they couldn't even say mother's day. This is how unbelievably stupid the folks on the left are. We have to call them special person's day. It's gonna be special person's day, Charlie. So let's go get your special person's card. Unbelievable. Again, they're nuts. This this goes so far beyond Looney Tunes. I mean, that is an offense to Looney Tunes cartoons because even those those characters had more sense than these folks on the left. No. We're not gonna call them mothers. No. We're gonna call them special persons. That's what we're gonna call them, Charlie. Special person. Don't you understand it? You're crazy. This is absolutely a mental illness. I'm so glad I did not grow up in a generation where we even thought about calling a mother a special I'm surprised they didn't call them, you know, birthing persons. Or what was it, what is that one, phrase that they had for pregnant women? Inseminated persons. I'm surprised they didn't go with that one. Those people are nuts, and we don't need to be messing around with them. We don't I'd I I'm so tired of these people going, you know, Charlie, there are some good Democrats out there. Show me one. Show me a good Democrat. Show me. Show me. Anybody that goes along with that ridiculous, anybody that goes on with with unfettered abortion, anybody that goes on with unfettered immigration, anybody that goes along with a not a good person. Sorry. I've got a I've got a I've got another definition than that. There's a special person's day. Get your special person a car. No. You cannot do that. You cannot go get flowers. You have to go pick flowers from the you pick dandelions out of your yard or whatever. Anyway, they're nuts. They're crazy. They're crazy. So president Trump, the winning just keeps on going. It just and I'm gonna run down some things that just happened over the past couple of days with president Trump. But if you really look at it if you really look at it, he has done this practically all by himself all by himself. Did you know and this might shock you, then again, it might not, that Mike Johnson, that Johnson and Thune have sent fewer bills to Donald Trump in the first one hundred days, little over now, than any other president in seventy years. President Trump has had fewer bills on his desk from Congress than any president in seventy years. Good gracious. That's unbelievable. Why? Because congress isn't I mean, they're they're just literally not do they're not doing anything. They're sitting on their hands. The only things they are doing is trying to block what president Trump is doing. And he's sitting there. He is literally carrying it's him, Elon Musk, RFK junior, Tulsi Gabbard, Hegseth, Kash Patel, the the you name it. And welcome back to the program. Well, president Trump signed an executive order today to lower pharmaceutical prices here in The United States. And, boy, that is welcome news because there's a lot about this that we don't know. Now we pay dramatically more here in this country than they do in other countries for the same pharmaceuticals. In fact, president Trump had an little bit of an anecdote about that today. I mean, I'll tell you a story. A friend of mine who's a a businessman, very, very, very top guy. Most of you would have heard of him. A highly neurotic, brilliant businessman, seriously overweight, and he takes the fat the fat shot drug. And he called me up, and he said, president. He calls me he used to call me Donald. Now he calls me president, so that's nice respect. But he's a rough guy, smart guy. Very successful, very rich. I wouldn't even know how we would know this, but because he's got comments. Said, president, could I ask you a question? What? I'm in London, and I just paid for this damn fat drug I take. I said, it's not working, they said. He said, I just paid $88, and in New York, I paid $1,300. What the hell is going on? Exactly. I love that. It's not working. That that's great. But we do we pay a lot more here than other countries do. Because you see and the big thing that they always talk about, oh, y'all, you know, we got research research and development, and we've got yada yada, and we've gotta pay for this and that, and we've gotta do well, why doesn't anybody else have to pay for it? Why isn't a a drug the same price in London as it is in The United States? Why isn't a a pharmaceutical the same price in Canada as it is here in The United States? Listen to what RFK Junior said. This is this is pretty darned amazing. It really is. Mister secretary, Trump says some prices will come down almost immediately. What is the timetable for these price cuts? Well, there's a series of escalating steps, but you know what? That that will bring them down to European levels. Right now, we spend we provide America provides 75% of the pharmaceutical revenues in the world, and we only have 4.2% of the world's population. Sure. We're paying in, in our country, the list price for Ozempic is $1,300 per dose. In London, it's $88. And Democratic and Republican politicians have been talking about for years, we gotta end these discrepancies. Nobody has had the courage to do it because of the power of the pharmaceutical lobby on Capitol Hill. K. I, man, might be getting an inch of rain overnight. I tell you what, days like this, my dogs can't stand them. Arty, not as much. Arty's kinda cool. He's kinda laid back and chill. But Sophie Sophie hates rainy days because we don't let her outside that much because she would spend all day outside if we let her. All day. Now we've got a doggy door. Right? This little girl will walk in, take a lap around the kitchen island, get a drink of water, go right back outside. If we had to let her out every time that she wanted to go out, we would have a groove worn in the flooring going through the front doors or to the back door rather. So, so, yeah, dogs are hating today, and I'm not all that crazy about it as well. Lots of rain coming. It's been a very, very wet, spring. Coming up in just few minutes, gonna tell you we're gonna talk a little bit about climate and why ABC News is so upset over over something that Noah is not including in their reports. We'll have that for you coming up. But I don't know if you know this. Did you know that we had a trade deal with China? I I no. I'm not talking about this one. Not talking about this one. I'm talking about previously under the Trump administration. Did you know we had a trade deal with China? I had no idea. Listen to what Scott Bissent said about it. What has to happen is it has to be fair for the American people. But in January 2020, president Trump produced a template. We had an excellent trade agreement with China, and the Biden administration chose not to enforce it. The the Chinese delegation basically told us that once president Biden came into office, they just ignored their obligations. So, you know, we all already have a large framework. The other thing to remember here, Jonathan, is that this is a pause down to 10%. The April 2 level for China is 34%. So, we will be working to see where their final reciprocal number ends up. And the negotiations are a combination of tariffs, non tariff trade barriers, currency manipulation, and subsidies of labor and capital. What has So here's the deal. Here's the deal here. Everybody over on the left, everybody, all of these peep everyone of them, they all came out and they said there's no way. There is no way that Trump is gonna be able to work out a trade deal with China. This guy is just he's spitting in the wind. I don't know what he's thinking of. There's no way. He's gonna ruin our economy. And what happened? What happened? We now got a reset. This and that's exactly what it is. It's a ninety day pause, sort of a pause, between us and China, and we are resetting where we are with our with our tariffs, both sides. That caused the stock market to go absolutely crazy today. It went nuts. It really did. Had a great day on Wall Street. So this ninety day pause is gonna give us more leverage to do more negotiations with China because, remember, they need us more than we need them. I know a lot of times you think you need the store, but, actually, the store needs you more than you need them. That's a little thing out there called competition. And if you don't like the prices, you don't like the service, you don't like the location of a store, you just go somewhere else. Same thing with China. We don't like the deal we're getting with China. We don't like how much it cost. We don't like the fact that they're not buying our goods. Now we've got other company or other countries stepping up going, hey. We'll fill the void. China has been hurting over the past couple of weeks, and I think they have realized just how delicate and fragile their economy actually is. Their warehouses are stocked full of stuff that they just cannot ship. Factories are closing down. The ones that are staying open are experiencing, protests. They're experiencing, what do you call them there? Strikes. They're striking. China's economy is not doing well right now, and they're feeling the pressure. Now wait a minute. Hold on. Their warehouses are stocked full of stuff that they just cannot ship. Factories are closing down. The ones that are staying open are experiencing, protests. They're experiencing, what do you call them? Their strikes. They're striking. China's economy is not doing well right now, and they're feeling the pressure. Now wait a minute. Hold on. You can just go back a coup ...
I pledge allegiance to the flag of The United States Of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Oh, beautiful for spacious skies, for amber waves of rain, for purple mountain majesties, America is back. Yes, sir. And it starts with immigration. Let's go to Rick in Simpsonville, wants to talk about immigration. Rick, welcome to the program. Hi, Charlie. This is my second time calling in. Well, I I I just give you a little there you go. I just get a little second time ding there. So what's up, man? Listen. I just wanna make a couple of points as a as a Hispanic, and this is not gonna go over well with my brother and sister. And, however, I wanna reference first. You had the caller that said about, you know, locking them up Yeah. And getting our pound of flesh. That's not gonna work. Our system still doesn't you're right. It it's not it's gonna cost more money to keep them here, to go through the process and stuff because that appeals and our judicial system is still too woke and radical. Yeah. I was just I was just about to say that. I mean, there's a good chance that they could go in front of a liberal judge. Oh, absolutely. And this is this has been since I was a child in the seventies, man. I saw the divisiveness that this type of stuff cost, and I'm seeing it now, and it breaks my heart. I am a twenty year combat vet. I've been to these countries Thank you. And it breaks your heart. But let's walk down our streets. What about the people our people here? Now listen. I am an American. I am a flag bearer. This is our country. Okay? And what happens is these people, when they've come over, one, illegally, two, then they send the money that they're making here back out of our country. Right. How does that help? And then in the enclaves, and I'm talking in in, you know, the people on the ground. Okay? They laugh at it. You go to America free, free, free, free. Yeah. Okay. This is not new. It's just the focus now is with all these illegals. Then they bring listen. Cinco de Mayo is coming up. Okay? Here's a trip is that we have foreign flag parade running through our country. What is that? I know. What other countries allow that? You don't do that. And then you have other and it's not just the Hispanic illegals. I'm talking all of them. You got the Chinese private police in New York. Right. You got, the Sharia laws in some of these states. Are you kidding me that an American can't can't walk down there? Charlie, this gets me upset. I'm totally right. I understand. Absolutely. So You know what? The the thousand dollars that they give them to fly them up, that's great. That's cheap. That's a smart business decision. Cut your losses and go. And you know what? Then you can cut the knees off of these people. I hate saying it. The fellow Americans say what they mean, God given and stuff, but that's exploited them. That's the lawyers. Yeah. That's the the landowner, the business owner. You know what? Have them do it illegal. Now Have them do it illegal. There you go. And it just gets me so upset. And then I hear, you know, here in this country now, nowadays, you know, you have folks calling in. We're not hearing from the Hispanic community, and there's a lot of them that feel out there the same way. Come in legally. You know what? If you're here legally, then you send money back to your family over there and help them out that way. Yeah. Use the the proper system. Exactly. This this is just getting ridiculous. And I just wanted to say to you as a Hispanic, as an American, a God fearing American, flag waving United States Of America. Now we appreciate you, Rick. Thank you, buddy. Thank you so much. Michael is in Charlotte. Michael, what do you think about the immigration idea? I like it. I think it's a start, but I kind of I don't know if this is gonna be the right place to say this or not. I'm a, you know, I'm I'm I'm a conservative person, ...
And welcome to the program on your TGIF afternoon. Thank goodness it's Friday. Looking forward to the weekend. Not as much as I look forward to last weekend when I went fly fishing. This weekend, oh, it's gonna be better than that. I get to trim a huge a huge loropetalum in my yard. That's not gonna be fun at all. I but the whole time, I'm gonna be thinking about fly fishing. I try I promise you that. So, I hope you guys have a great weekend. Oh, by the way, we are going to the, Simpsonville Farmer's Market tomorrow. I believe it is their first day tomorrow that they'll be open, and they're in a brand new location there in Simpsonville. They were in the bank parking lot kind of area. Now they've moved over to where the new police station is, and it's kind of over where the dog park is. It's a very nice area. It really, really is. So it's gonna be nice and shaded and all of that. So, looking forward to going to the Simpsonville Farmers Market this weekend. Well, I tell you what, the more you learn about Columbia, the madder you need to get. Now I know you think you're mad right now. I know you you fully believe that that you're mad at Columbia. But what you really need to do is take that anger and multiply it several times several times. Columbia, South Carolina, our state capital, is absolutely it is the swamp. It is absolutely the swamp. They have things going on in Columbia that would absolutely curl your hair. Now, A lot of this stuff, you you know, sometimes you wonder why are these people so, so hell bent on keeping these positions of power when it only pays, you know, right now, and I know they voted themselves a pay raise, but it only pays about $10,000 a year plus per diem. Why why why is this so important to them? Because it that's what they're paid. But what they make is a lot more than that. They make a lot more than that. This is a club in Colombia. It's a club, and they don't want you to know it's it's almost like a, a secret society. Like, they got a secret handshake, and they've got rituals that they go through. And you are not privy to what happens in Colombia. And the biggest perpetrators of all are the lawyer legislatures legislators in Colombia. The lawyer led legislators, they are a huge problem. And I give you a perfect example. Let's say you're Scout Motors, and you wanna come into South Carolina. Well, you're going to South Carolina, what do you need? You need yourself a good lawyer, don't you? Need myself a good lawyer. Yep. Oh, yeah. We are we are going to, to South Carolina. We are going to build the Scout's Mortise Plant, and the first thing we need to do is get a good attorney. Are there is there any attorneys working in their state legislature? Oh, there are a bunch of them. Yeah. So who do they hire? They hire a lawyer, legislator. How about that? How about you wanna build a casino in South Carolina? How about you do that? Well, what do you look for? You look for a good lawyer legislator, and you hire them. Because now it is practically guaranteed that the bill will pass because your guy that is on retainer is also in the state legislature. We have got so much corruption going on. And and and and since and since our state legislature votes on who is sitting on the bench, well, now they got the double whammy. So now if you sue them, well, they just take you in front of a friendly judge that is not going to that is not gonna side with you. It is absolutely disgusting. And the worst part of it is the worst part of it of of, of this whole thing is, if you try to stand in their way, if you try to stand up to what the lawyer legislators are doing in Columbia, they will try to kick you out of the club. They will try to remove you. You have to be moved aside so that they can do the jobs that they're really there to do, and that job is not representing you. If their job that job is representing their clients. That job is representing lobbyists. That job is representing donors. That job is ...

Let's go to the PhD weight loss talk line. We'll talk to Scott in Lexington, Georgia. And in case you're wondering, Lexington is just Southeast of Athens. And, Scott, I'm hoping you are a dog fan. Are you? Someday. Someday. I know the feeling. Right? I know the feeling. Yes, sir. What's on your mind? Yeah. I'm just wondering why we have to spend any money to get them out of here when all he has president has to do is just suspend habeas corpus. They just deputize all the law enforcement in every state as I say. Just just remove him here. I don't understand why he doesn't suspend habeas corpus. I I'm waiting for him to do it. He just won't do it. I think that because when you do that, that's kind of the the nuclear option, isn't it? Well, we need the nuclear option. I know. I know. I know. I don't know I don't know what he's waiting on, but hopefully, it will. Yeah. I mean, he's got four years in office, and he's got he needs he needs to bear that. He needs to have a final showdown with these Democrats. He needs to come. Just Yeah. Just dragging it out like the last time. He's gonna have to he's gonna have to it's gonna have to be a showdown here very soon. I think so too. We'll see what happens, Scott. But see what do you see the big problem is? Because, I mean, I I know I love Trump. I know most of you guys love Trump, think the world of him, and you would love for Trump to go over there and just run rough shot over everything. But we've got some midterms coming up. So while president Trump is trying to do the job that he has said he was gonna do, he's also while he's really good at playing offense, he's also gotta play a little bit of defense here as well. If the Democrats get in in the midterms, if they gain in the house, if they gain in the senate or take over one or both of those houses, they're gonna show the Republicans once again just how much power they hold. You see, the problem with the Republicans, and we're talking about nationally, locally, statewide, is they do not use the power that they have. Remember during the the the last term of Obama of, of Biden, where all these congressmen that are out there and you're getting all the mailers in the mail and you were getting all the advertisement on it. We're gonna use the power of the purse. We're gonna use the power of the purse, and we're gonna blah blah blah blah. And they did they never did it. They never did it. In fact, I moderated a debate in Saluda for the Third Congressional District. I think we had five candidates. There were six candidates. One didn't make it. We had five candidates at that debate. Beautiful little town of Florida. One we had a great time. And I asked them. I said, would you be willing to use the power of the purse in order to stop some of Joe Biden's legislation, some of this radical Democrat legislation? Only one Only one. So I I when I said, and would you be willing to use the power of the purse up to and including shutting down the government? Only one person said yes, and that was Mark Burns. I was the only candidate on that stage that said, you know what? Yeah. I would be willing to shut down the government to stop Joe Biden's bad legislation. That was it. That was the only one. You see, Republicans in in mass are terrified of the Democrats. It doesn't matter. I mean, right now, we got the house. We got the senate. We got the White House. Depends on what day it is. We got the Supreme Court, but they're afraid to use the power. They're scared to death, and I don't get it. If these Democrats are allowed to take over during the midterms, how and and, historically, that's what happens. Historically, the party that is in the White House in the midterms loses seats in Congress. We've got to break history. And you know what that means you gotta do? You gotta get out and vote. You gotta find a campaign, and you gotta fall in love with it. And you've gotta make sure that we support these people who are supporting president Tr ...

Let's go to the PHD Weight Loss Talk Line with doctor Steve who's heading up to Boiling Springs. How are you doing, bud? I'm I'm doing well. And yourself? I'm doing great. What's going on? Great. I just don't know if you've heard, but the the strength of Trump's, tariffs, even the pope is American made. I see. I see. There you go. I mean, it's working, isn't it? Globally, Trump's Trump's tariffs are working. And another quick thing about Belichick Yeah. If he marries that girl if he marries that girl, are the young ones gonna call her nana or granny? Yeah. Right? I don't know. My gosh. It's gonna be awful. Thank you so much, buddy. You be careful out there. Yep. Even even the pope is American made. That's how well Trump's, tariffs are working. Now what you're not hearing from the mainstream media is exactly that, how well Trump's tariffs are working. Already signed that huge great deal. It was a huge deal. It's the best deal we've ever done with The UK. Nobody else could do it but me. Only I could do and he's right. Only he could do that. Because he's even as they pointed out over on CNN last night, The United States has has been trying to come up with some sort of a trade deal with The UK for a long time. Now remember, they lost a lot of their trading status when they went through Brexit, and they broke away from the European Union. So they lost a little bit there, but now this this benefits them. It benefits us. Everybody's a winner. But who is about to come to the table? Well, China. China's getting ready. So it wasn't long ago, and and you saw it. Everybody, you know, if you're on social media, you probably saw it. China went on this huge campaign. It was a propaganda campaign is what it was. What it was. It was a big propaganda campaign. They even you know, they were pumping up China's economy, and everything is going great. And we got, they they posted images of Mao Zedong, lambasted imperialist, sent messages to people's phones capitulating to bullies as dangerous, and it went it it it that they wouldn't back down. Well, not so much. Because now we're finding out according to Tyler Durden over there at the Liberty Daily, behind closed doors, China was quietly and has been quietly preparing to do that back down. And Reuters reports that according to three sources, officials had grown increasingly alarmed about tariffs, impacts on the economy, and the risk of isolation as China's trading partners have started negotiating deals with Washington. China's reasons for deciding to negotiate Washington's letter on fentanyl, US diplomatic challenges in Beijing, and the early outreach between the two sides are reported by Reuters for the first time based on interviews with nearly a dozen government officials and experts on both sides. As usual, China's diplomatic efforts had two faces. One, for the popular domestic consumption and one for private engagement with the adversary, in that case, is Us. China's Foreign Ministry said in a statement to Reuters that it reiterated that China's firm opposition to The US abuse of tariff is consistent and clear, and there is no change. It added that The U US has ignored China's goodwill and unreasonably imposed tariffs on China under the pretext of fentanyl. This is a typical act of bullying with serious, which seriously undermines the dialogue and cooperation between the two sides in the field of drug control. Now they're backing down. So you see, The US did not ignore China's goodwill as they say. The issue of fentanyl is a very serious one, and we need to take it seriously. But it's about more than that. They had social media influencers, like I said, online. They were they were begging people, begging people. Buy directly from the factory. If you need a product, if you need something, buy directly from the factory. That way we can, you know, kinda do or go around some of these tariffs. They were begging people. Factories have been shutting down. Unemployment is rampant. W ...
