Elections have consistently broken spending records in the state in recent years, largely due to corporate money. A ballot measure known as the Montana Plan aims to eliminate that kind of spending in Montana, sidestepping a controversial U.S. Supreme Court ruling. That would make the state a national legal test case.

It's the fall harvest season, when many farm stands and homes decorate with pumpkins, corn stalks, and maybe even a straw man.How to make a straw man? Easy – stuff a couple of burlap bags with hay and dress your “man” in an old flannel shirt, overalls, and straw hat. But today's billionaires, corporate elites, and other political megadonors have come up with their own version of this creature – stuff a couple of silk pillows with thousand-dollar bills, dress him in a fine-tailored suit, and – voilá! – they turn a common straw man into a congress man.The stuffing is what allows corporate powers to create a government that routinely serves their avarice at the expense of the rest of us. Indeed, in this election season, they've already stuffed about two billion dollars into congress creatures who'll support their AI data centers, tax breaks, and other boondoggles.Who are these money stuffers? Ahh, that's the secret to their corruption. In 2010, America's partisan, corporatized Supreme Court handed a legalistic, anti-democracy weapon called “Dark Money” to giant corporations.By judicial dictate, the Court's Republican majority ruled that executives can give unlimited sums of corporate cash to SuperPACs to elect their straw men – without telling us commoners who is buying which lawmakers and at what price.Secret money equals secret government. Yet, both parties are going along with this corruption, claiming to be “powerless” to overturn the Court's edict.Powerless? What about asking The People to intervene? An overwhelming majority of Americans of every political stripe despise the Dark Money trick and will rally behind any serious effort to kill it. Money was the lifeblood of Jeffrey Epstein's operation, and he became exceptionally skilled at making that money difficult to follow. He moved enormous sums through a maze of personal accounts, trusts, limited-liability companies, offshore entities and businesses with vague or shifting purposes, allowing money to be transferred, invested, withdrawn as cash and routed between associates without leaving a simple, transparent trail. The trafficking operation itself depended heavily on cash: survivors alleged that girls were paid hundreds of dollars after sexualized “massages” and received additional cash for recruiting other girls, creating a recruitment system that could consume large amounts of physical currency. Court filings in the JPMorgan and Deutsche Bank litigation described that ready access to cash as essential to how Epstein operated, while later investigations showed just how many banks and entities touched his money over the years.Epstein also mastered the art of making suspicious money look ordinary by wrapping it in the language of legitimate finance: consulting fees, tax and estate planning, investments, property transactions, charitable projects and payments through corporate entities. That process effectively “colored up” the money by giving transactions an apparently respectable business purpose even when outsiders had little visibility into what the underlying relationship actually involved. The result was a financial structure in which huge sums could move through mainstream institutions while the true purpose of particular payments remained obscured. Even near the end of his life, millions of dollars were still being shifted through corporate accounts for major purchases, including nearly $27.7 million that Charles Schwab moved in connection with a proposed Moroccan property purchase shortly before Epstein's 2019 arrest. As You Wish Talk Radio James's Freedom Rant and Real Contact Ending, The Controlled Narrative Freedom Rant, Real Contact, and the Battle Between Control Narratives and Higher Alignment ECETI, Freedom Commentary, and the Control Narrative In this episode of As You Wish Talk Radio from ECETI, host James Gilliland opens with what he calls “James's Freedom Rant and Real Contact: Ending the Control Narrative.” He moves quickly through political, media, legal, military, health, and UFO-related commentary, repeatedly framing his remarks as warnings about hidden agendas, manipulated narratives, and systems of control. The transcript notes that these political, medical, spiritual, UFO, and legal claims are preserved as speaker statements and have not been independently verified. Loved Ones, Soul Continuity, and Guidance From the Other Side Before returning to political and social commentary, James pauses to speak about people who are losing loved ones or experiencing others “crossing over.” He says the body disassembles while the soul moves on, and he encourages listeners to let go of the belief that loved ones are gone or fully separate. In his spiritual framing, loved ones on the other side may be “just a thought away” and may be trying to guide people through challenging times.
