Eliminated in an overtime, Game 6 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers, the Pens overachieved and bowed out early. No harm, no foul. The Flyers, after jumping out to a three games to none lead, have stumbled while the Pens have surged. Tonight's game versus the Bolts will be played in Tampa, with the Cats curling up in Pittsburgh for a back-to-back residency at PPG Paints Arena on Saturday and Sunday. The Tampa team looks pretty darned dangerous and it's never wise to count out a reigning Stanley Cup champ, regardless of (the Panthers' mounting) ongoing injuries.
