It's another late night in Pac Nation and the phones are lighting up — and this time, Big Sal's cover is officially blown. Uncle Rico leads the charge calling out Ryan for making him investigate a fictional paper mill worker from Peshtigo, and the fallout is absolutely beautiful. But once the roasting settles, it's all Packers business as the offseason chaos keeps rolling. The crew breaks down everything: The Rashaan Gary trade — Green Bay extracts a fourth-round pick from Dallas while Cowboys fans somehow convince themselves they fleeced the Packers in the Parsons deal. Kyle from Madison needed therapy. We provided it. Zaire Franklin signing — Dana from California and Ryan both land on the same surprising conclusion: this guy's leadership might matter more than his stats, and the fit actually makes sense. Day 2 of NFL Free Agency Delivers Chaos Day two of NFL free agency somehow managed to get even crazier than day one, highlighted by the shocking news that Maxx Crosby failed his physical after being traded to the Baltimore Ravens, throwing the entire move into chaos and leaving Baltimore scrambling after already losing multiple key players. On this episode of The JV Show, JV is joined by Chase Coburn from Chase Sports News to break down everything from the Crosby disaster to major signings across the league. They discuss moves like Tariq Woolen heading to the Philadelphia Eagles, Rashid Shaheed re-signing with the Seattle Seahawks, and the New England Patriots adding Romeo Doubs and Alijah Vera-Tucker to help build around Drake Maye. The episode also dives into the Tennessee Titans aggressively rebuilding around Cam Ward, the Pittsburgh Steelers quietly stacking talent without solving their quarterback problem, and the controversial move of Tua Tagovailoa landing with the Atlanta Falcons. With huge contracts, surprise signings, and teams scrambling to reshape their rosters, day two proved that this free agency period is far from slowing down.Timestamps: 0:00 - Introduction 1:21 - Maxx Crosby trade DECLINED6:20 - Tariq Woolen (PHI)9:28 - Rashid Shaheed (SEA)13:10 - AVT & Doubs (NE)18:39 - Wan'Dale Robinson + More (TEN)23:14 - Isaiah Likely + More (NYG)27:58 - Rico Dowdle + More (PIT)33:03 - Tua Tagoviola (ATL)

Our Seattle Seahawks are kicking off free agency with five starters and two more key players potentially hitting the open market in two weeks at the start of the new league year. We run through some of the challenges general manager John Schneider faces with keeping each player and take a look at some of the projected salaries by The Athletic and Pro Football Focus. Kenneth Walker may have the biggest gap between how Seahawks fans would value him vs how he may be valued by another team, but a close second could be Boye Mafe. Mafe is considered one of the top 5 edge rushers in free agency, but his play time was limited in 2025 due to the play of Demarcus Lawrence and Uchenna Nwosu and Derick Hall. The amount of potential turnover in the secondary area of concern. Tariq Woolen, Josh Jobe and Coby Bryant are all expected to see contracts upward of $10 million per year and closer to $20 million per year in the case of Woolen. Is that the best use of salary cap dollars to try and keep all three? How would we prioritize? We take a look at the exclusive rights free agents and what that designation means as well as the restricted free agents and the one starter who stands out. In the second half of the show, we talk about potential rule changes (and the lack of rule changes) that are being discussed in Indianapolis. We could see a greater emphasis placed on officiating from the booth than on the field for certain calls. We call out the Los Angeles Rams and Augusta National on news that came out this week about both. The Seattle Seahawks are now two-time Super Bowl Champions and it still feels surreal. We're continuing the celebration with a full walkthrough of the win over New England and a preview of some of the major offseason topics. Seattle set the tone early, flipped field position through elite special teams, and leaned on a dominant defense that consistently harassed Drake Maye. Kenneth Walker kicked off his campaign for MVP early and the offensive line established their physicality on the first play of the game. Some outstanding plays by the Patriots defense kept Seattle out of the end zone in the first half, but Jason Myers was still able to help build a two-score cushion going into the half. The defense continued to overwhelm New England in the third quarter and held them scoreless. The contributions throughout the game included sacks by Devon Witherspoon, Byron Murphy, Derick Hall and rookie Rylie Mills. As Maye continued to get rattled, it led to key turnovers. Julian Love called his own interception as we saw in the mid'd up version of the Super Bowl. Byron Murphy recovered a fumble that led to the Seahawks only offensive touchdown by AJ Barner, and a Witherspoon pressure gave Uchenna Nwosu a score to match the Seahawks offensive touchdown output. We tackle the debate around Sam Darnold's performance—praised for poise against pressure and also criticized for a missed end-zone throw and a completion percentage that was among his lowest of the season. Offseason questions emerge along the way. How does Seattle sustain a title run? How should they handle some key free agents like Josh Jobe and Tariq Woolen? Do they need to approaches their big-money extensions for JSN and Witherspoon before making some of the more difficult decisions. Coaching and organizational themes surface too, from Mike McDonald's game planning and halftime adjustments to the team's continuity of culture. The episode closes with shout-outs to our members of the flock, listener emails, parade moments, and a nod to Jody Allen as the steady hand atop a championship organization. In a game of inches, we ended up a few yards short and to the right. In a frustrating loss where Sam Darnold must take most of the blame, there were other moments and aspects, good and bad, that added to this tough loss to our largest rivals, the Rams. There were some good points to focus on, too. Defensive efforts come under the spotlight, notably the exceptional play from Tariq Woolen, a crucial tackle for loss by Boye Mafe, as well as the importance of second-half adjustments. Some surprising stats jumped out as we dug into the box score, too. While it felt like most of the pressure came from the right side, two-thirds of the pressure actually came from the left. Plus, there was one play by the guards and led to Ken Walker getting absolutely blown up in the backfield. The Seahawks dominated the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday on their way to a 44-22 victory. Seattle put up 31 points in the first half, and despite giving the Cardinals multiple short fields off of turnovers -- they were still able to run away with it. Tyrice Knight and DeMarcus Lawrence paired up for a couple of defensive sack fumble touchdowns. Nick Emmanwori and Tariq Woolen paired up for multiple pass breakups. Leo Williams and the rest of the gang had their way with a tepid Cardinals team! Join us as we gear up for the Seahawks Sunday Night Football matchup against the Washington Commanders! How will the loss of Julian Love to injured reserve impact on the Seahawks defense and how will Mike Macdonald manage the return of Devon Witherspoon? With the Commanders recent struggles, Washington will be desperate for a win against a Seahawks team that has dominated on the road. The Commanders offense gets Jayden Daniels back, but they may not have the downfield offense to be able to attack the Seahawks defense. With the trade deadline approaching, could that impact how Seattle handles the playtime for Tariq Woolen on Sunday? Cooper Kupp, if he plays, may be limited against the Commanders, but that could prove beneficial in going heavy with tight-end heavy formations and Robbie Ouzts returning. The Seattle Seahawks now sit atop the NFC West tied at 3-1 after a win over the Arizona Cardinals. The defense dominated for most of the game, yet needed some late-game heroics from Sam Darnold, who earned his first "stat" of his Seahawks career. Leonard Williams continues to shine on a defensive line that seems to be rotating among giving prime opportunities to a different guy each week. However, there are concerns about lapses and penalties, especially in the defense and from Tariq Woolen, and from Anthony Bradford who got highlighted in a social media post with most of his worst moments from the game. Could a Woolen trade fix both issues? Or should Seattle be content with a deep squad of defensive backs? We talk about what a potential trade return for Woolen could look like. From the game against the Cardinals to the game between the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers, we saw how the new kickoff rule is impacting late-game strategy.
