Puskás Péter Bécsben született, első zenei oktatását és formáló tapasztalatait a Bécsi Fiúkórusban, valamint gyermekszínészként a bécsi Burgtheaterben szerezte. A Bécsi Konzervatóriumban (Konservatorium der Stadt Wien) végzett zongoratanulmányok különleges érdeklődést váltottak ki a nagyszabású operaprodukciókban való munkavégzés iránt, mint rendezőasszisztens és színpadi menedzser (Wagner Festival Wels, Salzburg Fesztivál). Több éven át együttműködött színpadi tervezőkkel is. 2005-ben Londonba költözött, és több Klasszikus Music Video on Demand üzletnél dolgozott programmenedzserként és programigazgatóként, mielőtt csatlakozott a London Music Team of Arts Council England-hoz. Ida Haendel, urodzona w przedwojennym Chełmie Żydówka, była cudownym dzieckiem skrzypiec. Pierwsze koncerty dla chełmian zagrała już jako czterolatka. Zaraz potem wyruszyła w świat, by rozwijać talent pod okiem najlepszych nauczycieli. Po wojnie nie wróciła na stałe do Polski, gdzie była zapomniana. Grała na całym świecie, współpracując z największymi kompozytorami i dyrygentami. Jednak u schyłku życia powróciła do Chełma i zagrała jeden ze swoich ostatnich i najważniejszych zarazem koncertów. Chełmianie zaczęli odkrywać Idę na nowo, a jej twórczość i talent oddziałują do dziś. W audycji wypowiadali się Agnieszka Poźniak ze Stowarzyszenia Miasteczko, muzyk Mariusz Matera, dyrektor Państwowej Szkoły Muzycznej I i II Stopnia w Chełmie Andrzej Wojtaszek, nauczyciele PSM w Chełmie Magda Stopa i Jolanta Mech, a także uczeń Amadeusz.

George Enescu prägte als Lehrer Geigerpersönlichkeiten wie Yehudi Menuhin. Seine Tätigkeit als Komponist allerdings ist immer etwas im Schatten seiner Geigerkarriere geblieben. Seine Dritte Violinsonate aber hat es ins Standard-Repertoire für die Violine geschafft. Andrea Lauber stellt dieses Werk zusammen mit Ida Haendel vor, die das Glück hatte, diese Sonate dem Komponisten selbst vorzuspielen.
