A ak Slovensko doteraz odmietnutie členstva len naznačovalo, dnes ho odmietla formálne aj vláda. Ak pôvodne Robert Fico odmietal vznik „paralelných štruktúr, o ktorých nevieme celkom všetko“, dnes jeho kabinet konštatuje, že by sme pre konsolidáciu nemali na členské vo výške miliardy dolárov.Trumpova Rada mieru však stále vyvoláva obavy z koncentrácie moci a oslabenia OSN.Pozrieme sa na ňu s expertom na medzinárodné právo Danielom Bednárom z Trnavskej univerzity.„V podstate nejde o iniciatívu, ktorá dokáže zmeniť svetový poriadok. Skôr v nej vidím veľa marketingu a snahu o zisk Nobelovej ceny mieru,“ hovorí Bednár. „Trump sa zrejme inšpiroval svojimi predchodcami, ktorí stáli pri zrode veľkých projektov ako Spoločnosť národov či OSN. Je tam zrejmá túžba priblížiť sa k nim a stať sa súčasťou veľkých svetových dejín. Že by sa však z tohto projektu stala organizácia schopná predčiť OSN, je pri súčasnom počte členov nepravdepodobné. Európa má podľa neho dostatočný potenciál nahradiť jadrový dáždnik USA. Achilovkou sú však spravodajské a špionážne informácie. A skutočne sa premiér Fico zaviazal k výstavbe jadrovej elektrárne Američanmi?Slovensko podpísalo s americkou vládou rámcovú dohodu o spolupráci v oblasti jadrovej energetiky. Vláda síce zdôraznila, že podpísaná dohoda nie je záväzkom postaviť jadrovú elektráreň americkou spoločnosťou Westinghouse, ale premiér v tejto téme už dlhodobo presadzuje strategickú spoluprácu s USA. Cieľom je zabezpečenie energetickej suverenity a tak by podľa Roberta Fica mala byť nová jadrová elektráreň plne vo vlastníctve slovenského štátu. Odhadované náklady na výstavbu sa šplhajú až k sume 15. Miliárd. Odpovede na legitímne a relevantné otázky prečo sa vláda vyhla transparentnej súťaži a ako vlastne bude vyzerať ekonomika celej tejto skutočne obrovskej investície zatiaľ nepoznáme pretože vláda to zatiaľ jasne nevysvetlila.Zo zadaných špecifikácií - teda požadovanej technológie a výkonu vyplýva, že jediným možným riešením je iba reaktor Westighousu. Komunikácií vlády nerozumiem pretože tu niet ozaj čo skrývať tvrdí Andrej Žiarovský.Potrebuje Slovensko novú jadrovú elektráreň a zaviazala sa vláda podpisom dohody ku konkrétnej zákazke od američanov? Nakoľko to bude pre tento štát výhodná investícia a neexistujú aj iné a lacnejšie riešenia?No a pri jadre, tentoraz však už nie pri jeho mierovej podobe ešte ostaneme. Krach medzinárodného práva a kolaps geopolitického poriadku čoraz viac otvárajú otázky aj o možnej hrozbe jadrovej vojny. Minimálne putinovo Rusko a jeho propagandisti nukleárnou kataklizmou Európe vyhrážaj na pravidelnej báze. Treba brať tieto ruské vyhrážky skutočne vážne a dokážeme si poradiť aj bez jadrového dáždnika Spojených štátov? Nakoľko je vôbec hrozba jadrového konfliktu reálna a je Slovensko – a jeho obyvatelia, na tento typ ohrozenia reálne pripravené? Strategického jadrového arzenálu sa obávam najmenej, najviac sa bojím obnovenia rakiet stredného doletu, ktoré sa nám dnes opäť vracajú do obehu. Pokiaľ Rusko väzí vo vojne na Ukrajine, voči Európe sa na nič nezmôže, pripomína expert. Témy pre Andreja Žiarovského, energetického a bezpečnostného experta KDH, ako i riaditeľa pre strategický rozvoj jadrovej firmy VUJE. Počúvate Ráno Nahlas, pekný deň a pokoj v duši praje Braňo Dobšinský.

Európsky parlament potvrdil pôžičku 90 miliárd pre Ukrajinu, ktorú ale Slovensko pred tým podporiť aj spolu s Viktorom Orbánom a Andrejom Babišom odmietlo. Rusi medzitým v najhorších mrazoch útočia na Ukrajinské mestá a ničia jej energetickú infraštruktúru, takže civilisti vrátane malých detí sa vystavení mrazom.Sú postoje premiéra skutočne suverénne? Vnimanie!“ Takto sa obyvatelia mesta Pripjať 27. apríla 1986 dozvedali z megafónov a sirén - po prvý raz oficiálne a takmer po dvoch dlhých dňoch – o katastrofe, ktorá sa odohrala v neďalekej jadrovej elektrárni Černobyľ. Z tejto, dnes už legendárnej, seriálovej scény automaticky prechádza mráz po chrbte. Situácia, keď sami cítite, že sa deje niečo veľmi zlé, ale všetci kompetentní zaryto mlčia, je presne tým obrazom, v ktorom sme žili aj my – občania komunistického Československa. Mnohí si dodnes na to pamätajú – na informačné embargo, na to ako sa zvesti o približujúcej sa hrozbe šírili len zlovestnou šepkandou i na prvomájové sprievody, do ktorých sa pod holým nebom – zamorovaného z východu rádioaktívnym mrakom - museli zapojiť všetci. Oslavoval sa komunistický sviatok práce a vo vzduchu nad hlavami viselo nebezpečenstvo, o rozsahu ktorého ľudia netušili.
