This week on The Sports Agents...Mark and Gabby hit the road this week, meeting Formula One drivers at the O2 Arena and travelling to Wigan to chat to the best and possibly most underrated coach in Britain. First up, an exclusive interview with three-time Grand Prix winner George Russell about taking over from Lewis Hamilton as Mercedes lead driver, swearing rules and the moment you know if your car will be good enough to win a world championship (it's sooner than you think!). (02:45) Mark also caught up with young British rookie Oliver Bearman, who was three when Hamilton won first world championship. He made a dramatic debut last season: drafted in with two hours notice he finished 7th ahead of Hamilton and Lando Norris, becoming the youngest British F1 driver in the process. So in his first full season can he replicate that success? He didn't in his driving test... (10:45)And we meet Wigan Warriors Head Coach, Matt Peet, whose recent trophy cabinet is rivalled only by the likes of Pep Guardiola with seven in three years. So how did the life-long Wigan fan, who never played professional rugby league, guide his side to a historic quadruple and the Team of the Year award at Sports Personality of the Year? Might have something to do with the philosophy he reads... (15:30)Got a question for The Sports Agents - email us at thesportsagents@global.com New episodes every Tuesday and Thursday.

Olympic gold medallist, Keely Hodgkinson, speaks to Gabby and Mark for an exclusive interview ahead of the Sports Personality of the Year Awards. Keely raced to gold in the 800m this summer in Paris, in the most watched event on the BBC. Will she be joining Michael Johnson's new Grand Slam Track event? What does she think can be done to improve athletics in the UK? And how does she balance her love of seeing friends and fashion with her gruelling training regime? 2024 presidential hopeful Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is kicking around the idea of Aaron Rodgers as a potential vice-presidential running mate for the 2024 election. This gets Jason thinking. Of all the sports personalities who have hinted at or been mentioned as a hypothetical political candidate, is there actually one who you'd vote for? Steve Kim joins “Fearless” to debate whether they would pull the lever for Aaron Rodgers, the Rock, Steph, or Stephen A. Smith. Former NBA star Gilbert Arenas is shooting off again. This time, he adds fuel to the Micheal Jordan-LeBron James feud with his allegation that Jordan was juicing. Nick Saban continues to spread the truth about the state of college football. This time, the Alabama legend testifies in front of Congress and shares the words of his wife that helped lead him to a heartbreaking and career-ending conclusion. Finally, Jason and Steve dive into the Dak Prescott lawsuit that seemingly dropped out of nowhere. The Cowboys QB is filing suit claiming that a woman is attempting to extort $100 million out of him. She claims the Dallas star sexually assaulted her back in 2017 — despite never filing any criminal charges in the case. Is this Deshaun Watson 2.0? We want to hear from the Fearless Army!! The SPOTY award is the main prize of an annual ceremony organised by the BBC. It was created in 1954 by Paul Fox, who was the editor of a sports magazine show called Sportsview. The idea was to honour the sportsperson who had achieved the most that year, as voted by the public. The first winner was Christopher Chataway, a runner who beat Roger Bannister, the first man to run a mile in under four minutes. Since then, the award has become one of the most prestigious and popular awards in British sport. It has been won by legends such as Bobby Moore, Daley Thompson, Steve Redgrave, Kelly Holmes and Andy Murray. The award is open to any sportsperson who is British or who plays a significant amount of their sport in the UK. The winner is chosen from a shortlist of 10 nominees, selected by an expert panel, and announced live on TV in December. Who won for 2023? Why was this person chosen? In under 3 minutes, we answer your questions! To listen to the last episodes, you can click here: What are the pros and cons of homeownership in the UK? And in Jenny Off The Blocks, Jen's looking forward to the BBC's Sports Personality of the Year awards.
