Jorddan was a star athlete in Holland on every newspaper article and the news channels as a basketball player. As he entered high school, his life changed dramatically. He got a basketball scholarship offer he was always searching for in high school from Central Michigan University. This episode talks about his mental health growing up in a small town and being in the limelight as a mixed kid. We also talked about how his life changed dramatically at CMU and how that impacted his mental health in the future as a man. As the conversation continues in this episode, we talk about how he started drinking, and the night he got a DUI. Erik Buehler is in his first year as the Head Boys’ Varsity Coach at Chatfield Senior High School in Littleton, CO. Buehler served as a varsity assistant and head coach while coaching at Golden High School for the past 4 seasons. This will be his 11th year in high school coaching overall. Erik was previously an assistant at Chatfield, Golden and Pomona High Schools. Buehler was also the Head High School Coach & Trainer at Impact Basketball in Sarasota, Florida. Erik grew up in Kersey, Colorado and graduated from Platte Valley High School. He attended Western Colorado University where he was a student assistant and a walk-on player. Erik has a Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sport Science, a Master's in Coaching Education, and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach. Coach Buehler currently teaches P.E. at Golden High School.
