Zakladateľka združenia na pomoc rodinám so zdravotne postihnutými deťmi a mladistvými – Nezábudka. Vyštudovaná chemička-analytička na Strednej priemyselnej škole chemickej v Bratislave dlhé roky pracovala v Slovenskej akadémii vied ako chemik asistent. K sociálnej práci sa dostala cez krajskú a okresnú zdravotne-sociálnu komisiu. Dodatočne študovala manažment sociálnej práce Lebenshilfe z Nemecka. Nezábudku založila v roku 1995. Za čas, čo pracuje v Nezábudke, pomohli takmer 200 rodinám. Aktuálne majú 60 členov – detí, ktoré Nezábudku navštevujú. Pochádza z obce Tureň pri Senci. Má rada kvety, pestuje ich v záhrade i v domácnosti, veľa číta a aj vo voľnom čase vybavuje pomôcky a inú pomoc pre deti, ktoré to potrebujú. Má dve dcéry – jedna je detská lekárka a druhá lekárnička, ktorá po nej prebrala prácu v Nezábudke. Už je na dôchodku, ale stále pre Nezábudku pracuje – pracuje s novými rodinami a venuje sa online poradenstvu. S novou budovou pre Nezábudky veľmi pomohol jej nebohý manžel. Za svoju prácu získala národnú cenu Dobré srdce, cenu primátora mesta Senec i cenu krajského úradu. Zemetrasenie zastihlo východ Slovenska v pondelok pred pol ôsmou večer. Otrasy cítili ľudia v celom Prešovskom a Košickom kraji. Obišlo sa to našťastie bez strát na životoch či zranení. Poškodené sú však mnohé obydlia ľudí a infraštruktúra. Premiér Ľudovít Ódor na sociálnej sieti ľudí ubezpečil, že sa škodami a pomocou postihnutým obciam bude zaoberať vláda. Mimoriadnu situáciu z dôvodu poškodenia domov počas zemetrasenia vyhlásili v celom Prešovskom kraji a aj v obciach Ďapalovce v okrese Vranov nad Topľou, kde bolo samotné epicentrum zemetrasenia a v susednej obci Holčíkovce vzdialenej osem kilometrov. V utorok podvečer som kontaktoval starostu obce Holčíkovce Michala Flešára. While economic headwinds are impacting the beauty industry these days, one area that's still going strong is fragrance. Take InterParfums, for example. It's the fragrance company that holds the licenses for over 20 fashion and luxury goods labels including Montblanc and Jimmy Choo. The first quarter of this year was its best in its 40-year history as it reported 24% sales growth and surpassed $1 billion in sales. On this week's podcast, InterParfums CEO and co-founder Jean Madar shared what's driving that growth. He talked about the surge in sales that the category has been seeing globally since the pandemic began, and why fragrance is a means for a luxury brand to bring in new customers. And at a time when a new celebrity beauty brand is hitting the market virtually every week, he made it clear that InterParfums' licensing business is still all about fashion partners. Madar gave the details on why the company has no interest in getting in on the fickle celebrity fragrance licensing business.

If you compare executive pay of men and women in C suite jobs, you will often not find a discrepancy in their wages. You will also be completely missing the point. The gender pay gap exists because it is more difficult for women to reach executive level success. Throughout their career progression, but particularly early on, women face more discrimination than men, and so fewer women are ultimately promoted to the highest level of an organization.   Gender discrimination is one of the recent topics covered by Alex Imas PhD, in his research. Alex is a behavioral economist with a focus on dynamic decision-making. His research explores topics related to choice under uncertainty, discrimination, mental representation, and how people learn from information.    Most recently, Alex has been the recipient of the 2023 Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellowship which seeks to stimulate fundamental research by early-career scientists and scholars of outstanding promise.   Alex's work on discrimination in the workplace sheds vital light on the cause of the problem which isn't just found within the hiring process. But before Kurt and Tim discuss this topic with Alex, the conversation kicks off with the fascinating findings that have fed off Robert Cialdini's founding work - that scarcity drives consumer demand.   It was back in episode 71, that Alex was originally a guest on Behavioral Grooves. Az adás vendége A Király című tévésorozat nagy felfedezettje, Bíró Panna Dominika, aki Zámbó Jimmy táncosnő/modell/fotós szeretőjét, Háfra Marit játszotta négy epizódban. Panni mesélt arról, hogy a saját élményeiből merítkezett a toxikus párkapcsolatba keveredett nő megformálásához, hogy milyen nehézségeket okozott a meztelen jelenete forgatása, illetve az, hogy nyolc kilót fogyott a szerep kedvéért. Felidézte egyetlen, szürreális találkozását az igazi Háfra Marival, és elárulta azt is, mit üzent neki Háfra, miután megnézte a sorozatot. De mielőtt A Királyra tértünk, végigvettük Panni kalandos életútját. Kárpátalján, egy Beregszász melletti kis faluban nőtt föl, ötévesen vette fel a Panna nevet és döntötte el, hogy színésznő lesz. Tizenöt évesen teljesen egyedül átjött Magyarországra a szentesi drámatagozatos gimnáziumba, ötödik (!) próbálkozásra vették fel az SZFE-re, részt vett az egyetemfoglalásban, a diplomáját végül a Freeszfe keretén belül Salzburgban vehette át. Szó esett arról is, hogy nagyon sok film és tévésorozat castingján volt utolsó körös, azaz majdnem őt választották ki a szerepre, de aztán mégsem, ezért még nagyobb volt az öröme, amikor egyik reggel arra ébredt, hogy ő lesz Háfra Mari. Kiderült, hogyan viseli az idegen férfiak megnövekedett figyelmét a sorozat óta, hogy mire nem lenne hajlandó egy szerep kedvéért, valamint megnevezte a rendezőt, akivel a legszívesebben forgatna. Kifaggatunk Panniról néhány olyan rendezőt, akik dolgoztak már vele, és az ő véleményüket is hallhatod az adásban. Például Kostyál Márkot, aki a Kojotban rendezte, Ujj Mészáros Károlyt, aki az Alvilág című tévésorozatban, illetve Szász Attilát, aki a Rendszerhiba című (azóta elkaszált) filmje főszerepére castingolta, valamint hangüzenet formájában bejelentkezik Madarász Isti és Tiszeker Dániel is. Panni nem olyan óvatosan és diplomatikusan nyilatkozik, mint a legtöbb színész, ezért csomószor el is felejtettem adás közben, hogy ez egy interjú, pedig akkor beszéltem vele életemben először.
