It's a new Hawkeye Report Podcast! Tom Kakert and Matt Randazzo open the show taking one final look back at the wild win over Nebraska. Then we move on to discussing the match-up for the Big Ten Title on Saturday in night in Indy when Iowa faces Michigan. We break down the Iowa/Michigan from all the angles and take a look at a potential path for the Hawkeyes to pull off what would be a massive upset. How could Iowa beat Michigan and what would the game look like? Is there a target score for Iowa to hit or prevent Michigan to get to on Saturday night? Then we talk about bowl game options for the Hawkeyes and then we dive into portal madness. Iowa hasn't gotten caught up in the portal departures yet. When could that happen and what positions will they look to add. Finally we pick some games and talk about the development of Owen Freeman and a busy and challenging week ahead for the Iowa basketball team, including trips to Purdue and Iowa State.
Chris Balas from theWolverine.com joined us in our second hour to talk more about the Michigan/Iowa game. Chris gave his thoughts and prediction on the game, talked about the College Football Playoffs, have his opinion on if Harbaugh and JJ McCarthy will be back next season, and more. We were then joined by John Borton from theWolverine.com to continue the conversation. John gave us his prediction on the game, talked about Harbaugh being back, and more. We then played Bill's earlier conversation with Tom Kakert from Hawkeyereport.com about the Iowa/Michigan game. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The numbers say that Iowa has to make a change at offensive coordinator. Yet, here we are after a chance to evaluate and nothing has changed. Kirk Ferentz was supposed to maybe have a press conference this week, yet it has been moved to next week. We speculate about the possible reasons for that and if change in coming. After a good start in the transfer portal, Iowa struck out on two big pieces this week with Isaac TeSlaa and Walter Rouse choosing to go other places. Are there any new names on the horizons to help the wide receiver room or the offensive line. And it'll be Iowa/Michigan on the hardwood coming up next for the Hawkeye men. We preview the match up with the Wolverines and talk some women's hoops after they get another win over Northwestern and another ridiculous stat line from Caitlin Clark.Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!LinkedInLinkedIn jobs helps you find the candidates you want to talk to, faster.
