In this episode, The boys are back talking absolute scenes and zero accountability. From declaring we're all “living the dream” (no one is) to breaking down the chaos of Australia's cricket circus. We dive into the carnage from the track after the Black Caviar Lightning, wrap the good, the bad and the morally concerning in horse racing, then shift into football where takes are hot and records are ice cold. There's NRL premiership calls, European best bets, and the weekly attempt to build a multi that will emotionally ruin us.We cover the whip rule AGAIN! State of Origin eligibility, Olympic village Condom statistics that absolutely nobody asked for at the Winter Olympics, plus a Spanish dine-and-dash masterclass and the invention of Zooper Dooper deodorant (pending FDA approval). We finish with a Premier League Matchday 27 preview, a reckless EPL multi, and a quick look at fight night between Strickland & Hernandez before signing off with confidence we absolutely haven't earned. If you're here for sharp analysis, you're in the wrong place. We return from the holidays with empty wallets, loud confidence, and zero lessons learned. In this episode, We kick things off with life updates, launch a new NRL tipping comp (mortgage at risk), and somehow start planning 2026 despite barely surviving this week. The Southeastern 16 crew of Graham Doty, Alfred Ezman and Chris Lee look at Missouri baseball entering the 2026 season. Topics include: Coach Kerrick Jackson has the league's worst resources and it's not close, but Jackson kept his undermanned team in the fight enough last season to knock preseason No. 1 Texas A&M out of NCAA tournament consideration. It's good to be able to see the baseball if you're going to hit it, and Pierre Seals--who now wears contacts, which he didn't a year ago--could be primed for a jump. Returnees Mateo Serna, Kaden Peer and Gehrig Goldbeck will likely form part of the Tigers' everyday lineup. Transfers Kam Durnin, Jase Woita and Jamal George will also challenge for every-day roles, and JUCO transfer Eric Maisonet put up eye-popping numbers last season, too. Javyn Pimental, who might have been Missouri's best pitcher last year if he'd been available, returns to likely play a key role. Returnees Kaidden Drew, Brady Kehlenbrink, Ian Lohse, Ben Smith, PJ Green, Josh McDevitt and Nic Smith should again have roles, while transfers like Juan Villareal, Dane Bjorn and Jackson Sobel could have bigger roles at their new stop. And keep an eye on freshman Richie Swain. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

Southeastern 16's Graham Doty and Chris Lee discuss Alabama baseball ahead of the 2026 season. Topics include: Coach Rob Vaughn gets as much out of his talent as any coach in the league--and now has started to upgrade that talent. Shortstop Justin Lebron is a leading national Player of the Year candidate. Returnees Bryce Fowler, Jason Torres and Brady Neal are big parts of Alabama's lineup, while transfers Justin Osterhouse, Sam Christiansen, Logen Devenport and Brennan Holt may all see every-day roles. Pitcher Zane Adams will try to take the steps to be a Friday night ace, while Tyler Fay could also be poised for his best season. Returnees JT Blackwood, Bobby Alcock, Matthew Heiberger, Hagan Banks, Austin Morris and others will have key roles. Transfers Owen Sarna, Evan Steckmesser, Ashton Crowther and Kaden Humphrey could also be important parts of the pitching staff. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Southeastern 16's Graham Doty and Chris Lee preview Georgia baseball for the 2026 season. Topics include: Coach Wes Johnson had the Bulldogs No. 1 in the country for a brief period last season, and led them to a national seed. He'll build for 2026 with the same transfer-heavy approach that got Georgia here a year ago. Returnee Tre Phelps has huge upside and returns after a disappointing 2025 campaign. Starters Kolby Branch and part-timers Daniel Jackson and Ryan Black are also back. Johnson added a ton of experienced bats that include Scott Newman, Ryan Wynn, Rylan Lujo, Michael O'Shaughnessy, Jordy Orlach, Bryce Calloway, Jack Arcamone, Cole Koniarsky, Kenny Ishikawa and others. Talented transfers Caden Aoki, Joey Volchko and Matt Scott shoud throw a lot of innings. Transfers Ishikawa, Thomas Ellisen, Brad Pruett, Dylan Vigue, Teddy Brennan, Calloway and Andrew Behnke should also have roles. Returnees Justin Byrd, Jordan Stephens, Zach Brown and Paul Farley should also see roles. &COLLAR Stretchy. Wrinkle-proof. Built to look sharp. Welcome to Workleisure. Southeastern 16's Graham Doty and Chris Lee look at the Texas A&M Aggies heading into the 2026 baseball season. Topics include: Coach Michael Earley tries to reset after a difficult 2025 season, his debut one as a head coach. The Aggies had a last-minute change at hitting coach that will require a staff re-shuffle. The biggest thing that went wrong last year was injuries to stars Gavin Grahovac, Caden Sorrell and Shane Sdao, with pitching contributor Josh Stewart also hurt. Texas A&M has the potential for a strong batting order with the addition of transfers Chris Hacopian and Jake Duer, along with catcher Zane Becker. They'll pair with a number of quality returning bats like Terrence Kiel II, Bear Harrison, Ben Royo, Blake Binderup and Sawyer Farr. Veteran returnee Weston Moss joins Sdao to give the Aggies a quality 1-2 punch at the top of the rotation. Returnees Clayton Freshcorn, Gavin Lyons, Caden McCoy, Aiden Sims and Grant Cunnngham will have key roles, and transfer MJ Bollinger, Juan Vargas and Ethan Darden could have big bullpen roles. &COLLAR Stretchy. Southeastern 16's Graham Doty, Alfred Ezman and Chris Lee preview the Texas Longhorns for the 2026 baseball season. Topics include: Coach Jim Schlossnagle took the SEC by storm last year until the Longhorns started to run out of gas in May. But he's built this roster through recruiting and the portal into one that looks more talented that last year's. The Longhorns have a terrific returning lineup corps in Ethan Mendoza, Adrian Rodriguez, Casey Borba and Jonah Williams. Texas added a pair of the best offensive transfers in the country in Carson Tinney and Aiden Robbins and also got likely starters Josh Livingston, Temo Becerra and Ashton Larson. Texas's pitching is exceptionally deep and starts with Dylan Volantis, last year's superstar freshman closer, who this year could be one of the league's best starters. Key returning arms are Ruger Riojas, Max Grubbs, Kade Bing, Jason Flores, Thomas Burns, Hudson Hamilton, Cody Howard, Ethan Walker and Connor McCreery. Transfer Cal Higgins and Haiden Leffew should have big roles, too. &COLLAR Stretchy. Wrinkle-proof. Built to look sharp. Welcome to Workleisure. Southeastern 16's Graham Doty and Chris Lee preview the Florida Gators for the 2026 baseball season. Topics include: Coach Kevin O'Sullivan had a rough off-season, taking a leave of absence and also losing long-time assistant Chuck Jeroloman to Tennessee. O'Sullivan will serve a brief suspension to start the season due to a post-game incident at Coastal Carolina. Injuries to Kyle Jones and Cade Kurland helped wreck Florida's 2025 season. Those guys are healthy and will join returnees Blake Cyr, budding superstar Brendan Lawson, Hayden Yost, Justin Nadeau and Landon Stripling as key bats. Florida added transfers Sam Miller, Karson Bowen and Ethan Surowiec as key bats for this season. Liam Peterson and Aidan King could potentially be the country's best Friday-Saturday-starter combo. THe Gators return veterans Luke McNeillie, Billy Barlow, Jackson Barberi, Caden McDonald, Christian Rodriguez, Blaine Rowland, Matthew Jenkins and McCall Biemiller, plus, get back Joshua Writenour, who missed last season. Transfers Cooper Walls, Russell Sandefer and Ricky Reeth should also help. &COLLAR Stretchy. Wrinkle-proof. Built to look sharp. Welcome to Workleisure. Southeastern 16's Graham Doty and Chris Lee preview Oklahoma baseball for the 2026 season. Topics include: Coach Skip Johnson is not just one of the league's best quotes, but he gets so much out of the Sooners' talent, which is often heavily mined through the JUCO ranks. Expect Johnson's teams to run and defend well and his pitchers to develop (just as he's done with Cade Horton, Kyson Witherspoon and others). The Sooners return every-day players Jason Walk, Jaxon Willits, Kyle Branch, Trey Gambill and Dayton Tockey, and returnees Dasan Harris and Drew Dickerson had major roles at times last year. Transfers Camden Johnson, Cayden Brumbaugh, Deiten LaChance and perhaps Brendan Brock could be big contributors for Oklahoma, not to mention big-time freshman recruit Alec Blair. There's a lot of uncertainty around pitching roles but returning arms, Jason Bodin, Reid Hensley, Gavryn Jones and Jaden Barfield have held important ones for the Sooners before, and Cameron Johnson has always had huge potential if he can throw strikes. Transfers LJ Mercurius, Joey McManus, Jackson Cleveland, Mason Bixby and others could have important impacts. &COLLAR Stretchy. Wrinkle-proof. Built to look sharp. Welcome to Workleisure. Southeastern 16's Graham Doty and Chris Lee preview Kentucky baseball for the 2026 season. Topics include: The way that coach Nick Mingione built this team feels quite similar to how he built his 2024 College World Series squad. The Wildcats return Tyler Bell, a potential National Player of the Year candidate if his bat takes a step up. The 'Cats return Luke Lawrence, Hudson Brown. Ethan Hindle, Ryan Schwartz, Carson Hanson and Will Marcy as hitters from lsat season and to that add transfers Tyler Cerny, Alex Duffey, Scott Campbell Jr. ajd Jayce Tharnish, pus talented freshman Owen Jenkins, Caden Cloud and Ben Van Cleave. Kentucky has an ace in lefty Ben Cleaver, who really knows how to pitch. Mingione will mix and match with a bunch of players who threw a lot of college innings last seaon, including Jack Bennett, Bryson Treichel, Nate Harris, Ryan Mullan, Burkley Bounds, Jaxon Jelkin, Connor Mattison, Jackson Soucie, Ira Austin IV and others, plus, Chase Alderman, who sat out last year with injury. &COLLAR Stretchy. Southeastern 16's Graham Doty and Chris Lee preview South Carolina for the 2026 college baseball season. Topics include: It's a Year 2 reset under coach Paul Mainieri, who went about as heavily into the transfer portal to reset the roster as did any coach in the SEC. The Gamecocks' lineup will be built around returnees KJ Scobey, Beau Hollins and a health Talmadge LeCroy, to which they add transfers Ethan Lizama, Dawson Harmon, Logan Sutter, Reese Moore, Jake Randolph, Tyler Bak and Luke Yuhasz. The Gamecocks build their staff around a big-time pro prospect in lefty Jake McCoy, and Brandon Stone, another returnee who flashed big moments a year ago and reliever Parker Marlatt. Transfer Amp Phillips should slot into the rotation as might Alex Philpott, Josh Gunther and Bradley Hodges, with Josh Gregoire, Cullen Horowicz and others perhaps playing key roles out of the bullpen. &COLLAR Stretchy. The Razorbacks return lineup pieces Kuhio Aloy, Cam Kozeal, Ryder Helfrick, Nolan Souza and Reese Robinett to whom they add potential impact transfers Damian Ruiz, Maika Niu, Zach Stewart and TJ Pompey, as well as freshman shortstop Carson Brumbaugh. The Southeastern 16 crew of Graham Doty, Alfred Ezman and Chris Lee previews LSU baseball for the 2026 season. Topics include: There's no debate: LSU, after winning last year's national title (making it two in the last three years) is the country's best program. The Tigers have continuity, thanks to Jay Johnson and a stable staff that's been in Baton Rouge for multiple years. LSU's pitching is loaded. The headliner is Casan Evans, last year's star reliever who transitioned to starting late in last year and was spectacular there, too. The Tigers have a ton of elite, returning arms who will be factors, including Zac Cowan, Jayden Noot, William Schmidt, Mavrick Rizy, Cooper Williams, Connor Benge and DJ Primeaux. Also look out for Gavin Guidry, who'll try to pitch (and should, though the timeline is uncertain as of January) again this year. Guidry was a valuable part of LSU's bullpen in 2024 but missed last year after surgery. The Tigers got elite arms Regan Ricken and Marcos Paz through the draft, too. Each should have significant roles in 2026. The offensive headliner is draft-eligible-sophomore outfielder Derek Curiel, who was a superstar as a freshman. Curiel seems to be LSU's center fielder after playing left last year, and is a candidate for this year's Golden Spikes Award, as well as to go top-10-overall in the 2026 MLB Draft. Returning shortstop Stephen Milam is one of the country's best and perhaps the heartbeat of the team. Right fielder Jake Brown could have a breakout year and John Pearson stands to be one of the top outfield reserves, with Chris Stanfield again returning to start, though likely in left. LSU killed it in the transfer market with infielders Trent Carraway (Oregon State), Seth Dardar (Kansas State), Brayden Simpson (High Point) and Zach Yorke (Grand Canyon). Catcher might be the biggest question, but Cade Arrambide played well in 75 plate appearances as a freshman. LSU got several highly-regarded bats through the draft, too, including outfielder William Patrick. Are the Tigers the best team in the country? We've got an opinion on that, and more! &COLLAR Use promo code SEC16 for 16% off! The Washington Commanders (4-11) host the Dallas Cowboys (6-8-1) on Christmas Day at Northwest Stadium. The game is at 1pm and can be seen on Netflix. The episode begins by discussing the latest episode of Hard Knocks, which features Frankie Luvu and sees the Commanders lose to the Eagles. The All-22 Review against the Philadelphia Eagles displays heart, passion and fight, but did the coaching staff really want to win? It was a weird game that KDot walks through. We begin the matchup preview against the Dallas Cowboys with the injury report, which sees 3 more players go on IR: Eddie Goldman, Jaylin Lane, and Sam Cosmi. The injury bug could not bite us any worse, with Laremy Tunsil and Daron Payne missing the game as well. Dallas is likely to be missing DeMarvion Overshown and Tyler Guyton, but all the other guys will be available. The Commanders offense features Josh Johnson, with Jeff Driskel as backup, and the Cowboys offense features Dak Prescott. While the offense heavily favors Dallas, the defense has greatly struggled, leaving opportunity for the Commanders. The Commanders are home underdogs by 8.5 points, and the over-under is 50.5 points. The Washington Commanders (4-10) host the Philadelphia Eagles (9-5), who come to Northwest Stadium in the hopes of clinching the NFC East division title for consecutive seasons. The episode begins with Hard Knocks, episode 3. Zach Ertz reviews film with Ben Sinnott, Terry McLaurin inspires the Commanders to victory, and we see the team finally have a celebratory locker room. The All-22 Review against the New York Giants highlights special teams and Jaylin Lane. Offensively, the run game was strong with Bill Croskey-Merritt, and then Antonio Hamilton and Mike Sainristil had excellent games on defense. The Eagles Commanders game preview begins with the injury report, that sees the Commanders missing Eddie Goldman, Jayden Daniels, Laremy Tunsil and Colson Yankoff. The Eagles are missing Lane Johnson and Jalen Carter. The Commanders offense, led by Marcus Mariota, has a tall task against the Eagles defense that has been great all year, and even better after their week 9 bye. What are our opportunities on this side of the ball against Nakobe Dean, Quinyon Mitchell, Jordan Davis and this Eagles defense? The Commanders defense, coming off a solid game against the Giants, takes on a talented but inconsistent offense in the Philadelphia Eagles. It features Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith. How do we look to slow this offense down? The Commanders are 7 point underdogs against the Eagles, and the over under is 44.5 points. What is your prediction for the game? The Side Piece report discusses the New England Patriots, JJ McCarthy, and that epic Rams-Seahawks game that just took place. The Washington Commanders (3-10) go to New York to take on the New York Giants (2-11) in a game being described as the “Caleb Downs” game. Before we dive into the matchup, we begin with the All-22 Review against the Minnesota Vikings from Sunday, where we lost 31-0. KDot gives out no game ball, and is entirely frustrated with the defense + lack of consistent dialing up of the running game on offense. We also touch on HBO's Hard Knocks, featuring the NFC East this season. Zach Ertz suffers a tragic end to his season, and potentially his career. We begin the matchup preview, as we always do, with the injury report for the game. The Commanders will be without Jayden Daniels once again, but are largely healthy outside of that (and the guys on IR). The Giants are banged up as well, but feature Jaxson Dart, who has had a nice rookie season thus far.The Commanders offense, featuring Marcus Mariota once again, takes on a horrible Giants defense that gives up over 6 yards a carry to running backs, and even more than that in recent weeks. This should be a heavy dose of Chris Rodriguez, Bill Croskey-Merritt and Jeremy McNichols, but will Kliff Kingsbury lean on his running game? If he doesn't, the Giants have also given up the highest passer rating in the NFL since week 8 at 114.4 a game. The Commanders defense goes against Jaxson Dart, who was played very well in his rookie season. How will the defense respond to a horrendous showing against JJ McCarthy and the Minnesota Vikings? The Commanders are road underdogs by 2.5 points and the over-under is 46.5 points.
