Dropping to 3-7, Cincinnati's defense showed early grit but crumbled under second-half turnovers, while an offense led by Joe Flacco sputtered against a revamped Steelers unit. The loss halts any momentum from their Week 7 upset over Pittsburgh, exposing persistent issues in protection and execution. The Bengals struck first, marching 75 yards on their opening drive capped by Flacco's 28-yard touchdown strike to Tee Higgins, who extended his scoring streak to four games and sits third league-wide with seven receiving TDs. Cincinnati's defense, anchored by Myles Murphy's career-high seven tackles (including a sack) and Oren Burks' nine stops, blanked Pittsburgh after their initial field goal, forcing four punts and limiting them to 188 yards through halftime. In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers re-signing cornerback James Pierre on Tuesday. We talk about what his one-year deal probably looks like and more.The Cincinnati Bengals are reportedly shopping tackle Jonah Williams so Alex and I quickly hit on that news and if there is any possibility that the Steelers might have interest in trading for him. We also address the news that the Steelers reportedly had some interest in outside linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel prior to him re-signing with the Miami Dolphins recently.It's been a busy week once again for Steelers general manager Omar Khan and Mike Tomlin on the pro day circuit so Alex and I recap their trips to Iowa State and Iowa so far this week. We go over the top prospects at both of those pro days and spend some extra time talking about Iowa State defensive back Anthony Johnson Jr. and the probability of him being a Steelers' selection this year.Tomlin and Khan are at the Ohio state pro day on Wednesday so we discuss that news and where the two might be going on Thursday and Friday.
