Sí, lo sabemos: esperabas recibir una notificación de cualquiera menos de los presentes. Felicidades, por cierto, que como hace más de un año que no subimos nada seguro que se nos ha pasado tu cumpleaños; felicidades para el año que viene (no tenemos remedio). Llevamos un buen tiempo pensando a qué tipo de excusa podríamos asirnos con fuerza para defender nuestra ausencia. Una suerte de «escudo para siempre» que palíe los efectos de llevar más de un año sin dar señales de vida. Somos como ese familiar perdido que sólo aparece por casa para pedir dinero, pero con programas de 6 horas. Vamos de pareja en el mus con Pol Pot, somos conscientes. Por si había dudas, no obstante, no cejamos en nuestro empeño de contar cómo se llevó a cabo «La Guerra de las Galaxias: Episodio IV, una nueva esperanza» y, esta vez, nos centramos en el diseño de vestuario; a cargo de John Mollo: un señor que gana cualquier competición de apellidos chulos y que tenía cierta querencia por los chalecos como prenda insustituible e imbatible en las aventuras espaciales. Su trabajo ha pasado a la historia para los profanos, pero también es leyenda dentro de la profesión por su sobresaliente labor en la campo de la excelencia (aunque no tenga un premio Montgomery Burns). Y ya sabéis, este podcast (además de ser la cascaruja de este tipo de contenidos) trata de glosar las andanzas de estos profesionales del cine cuyas carreras y premios hablan por sí solos, pero que permanecen en el anonimato. Para ello (además seguir homenajeando a nuestro secundario del cine español favorito y, de paso, mandar un saludo al departamento de policía que tiene la suerte de contar con el sargento Drebin), contamos con una homóloga de nuestro cine para que entendamos que la tela de crepé está fenomenal, pero que no es conveniente hincarle el diente (nota: que no es que algún miembro del podcast haya hecho la prueba. NO ES ASÍ PARA NADA). Para esta cara 33 1/3 tenemos el placer de conversar con Nerea Torrijos, diseñadora de vestuario en «No mires a los ojos», «Errementari», «Akelarre» (por la que ganó un Goya) o «Irati» (por la que fue de nuevo candidata). Con ella, aprendemos que hay gente que oye los Pantone (como Homer con las empanadas) y que los telares del siglo VIII sólo tenían 80 centímetros de ancho. Ya nos agradecerás este dato cuando te ganes ese quesito en el Trivial. Todo ello acompañados de 53 canciones editadas en 1977 (el año de estreno de esta película); la cinta de doble cara; referencias culturales que suponen un reto para las nuevas generaciones; un gol de Gordillo en la Copa de Europa y la participación de José Bono, el hombre calculadora. Eso sí, esta vez pedimos disculpas -además- por ciertas diferencias de volumen entre parte y parte. Esperamos que no sean muy molestas, pero si veis que es imposible, decídnoslo en los comentarios. Paul Blake is an English actor who portrayed the bounty hunter Greedo in Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. A production photograph related to the scene with Jabba the Hutt in Docking Bay 94 shows Blake putting on a Rodian costume on the set. He is credited by John Mollo as portraying a ‘plutonian‘ in Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope as documented in the 1979 book The Art of Star Wars. He also had minor roles in Some of My Best Friends Are… and Hennessy, as well as some roles in television series such as Down to Earth and Crossroads.

I'm excited to be joined by Michael John Mollo, who has worked closely with John Powell, Michael Giacchino, and Giorgio Moroder. https://soundtrack.academy/michaeljohnmollo Michael is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati's College Conservatory of Music and the University of Southern California and early on in his career was part of Hans Zimmer's Remote Control team. You'll have heard some of his music in the soundtrack for “How To Train Your Dragon” and “Rio.” As well as composing, Michael is also an incredibly skilled orchestrator, synths and samples programmer, and arranger. And that's not all! On top of all of that, he also oversees the global operations of production music library Velvet Green Music.
