Last week, I was hit by a car. In the weeks leading up to co-hosting a retreat, I was quietly battling imposter syndrome — questioning my capacity to hold big space for women stepping into their own expansion. Then life knocked me to the pavement. Literally. What followed was a spiritual reckoning, a breathwork breakthrough, and a message so clear it shook me: you cannot hold light without knowing darkness. In this raw and deeply personal solo episode, I share:The internal battle no one sees before expansionHow adversity refines leadership (not ruins it)The breathwork experience that changed everythingWhy imposter syndrome is often a sign you're leveling upHow sound healing has expanded my capacity to hold spaceAnd what it means to become a vessel — not from perfection, but from lived experienceIf you've been doubting yourself before your next big step… If you've walked through something hard and wondered what it was shaping you for… If you're ready to lead from depth instead of ego…This episode is for you.You can't hold light without walking through fire.Press play.Private Hands-On Advanced Facial Training & Virtual Mentorship May 17th 2026 Slow Flow & Sculpt 1 Day Workshop in Los Angeles // Registration Closes April 15th 2026 2-Day Intensive Golden Touch Workshop Application Workshop & Retreat Waitlist Free Golden Experience Guide Monthly Publication
What does it really take to build a thriving massage and facial practice — without chasing trends, aesthetics, or overnight success? In this episode of Good Skin Circle, Ashley sits down with Lorena Sanchez, a dual licensed massage therapist and aesthetician based in San Francisco, to talk about the long game: embodiment, authenticity, community trust, and confidence built over time.Lorena shares how she grew her practice through local moms' groups, word-of-mouth, and showing up as a real human — not a polished brand. They talk about starting small, expanding intentionally, healing self-worth through inner work, hypnotherapy and why advanced education changes how you trust your hands. This conversation is for practitioners who feel behind, don't fit the mold, or are quietly building something meaningful.Slow growth. Real success. Careers that last.

Your jaw influences far more than your face. This episode shows you how jaw strength shapes cognition, posture, airway health, sleep, metabolism, and overall human performance. You will learn how targeted jaw training increases cranial blood flow, improves neuromuscular coordination, strengthens airway stability, and stimulates facial muscles that modern diets no longer challenge. Watch this episode on YouTube for the full video experience: https://www.youtube.com/@DaveAspreyBPR Host Dave Asprey talks with Brandon Harris, founder and CEO of Jawzrsize. Brandon developed the device after multiple severe injuries, including a shattered jaw, months of immobilization, and a 13 day coma. His recovery forced him to rebuild his jaw strength from zero and revealed how deeply the jaw affects posture, oral health, proprioception, and cognitive function. Brandon's experience as a mixed martial artist and his early training of the masseter muscle guided the creation of a safe, medical grade jaw resistance system that now has small clinical data supporting improvements in strength, facial tone, Bruxism relief, and TMJ balance. You will hear how jaw alignment influences the nervous system, why weak jaws contribute to sleep apnea, how saliva flow ties oral health to gut health, and why resistance training for the jaw produces structural benefits the modern soft diet fails to provide. Host Dave Asprey explains how full range jaw training supports cranial stimulation, nitric oxide signaling, fascia activation, posture correction, and neuromuscular coordination throughout the body. This episode also explores how jaw mechanics connect to biohacking principles like brain optimization, sleep optimization, longevity, neuroplasticity, metabolic signaling, and strength based anti aging. This is essential listening for anyone focused on biohacking, human performance, posture mechanics, airway stability, TMJ function, oral microbiome health, anti aging, supplements that support structural function, nervous system training, and practical tools that create fast visible results. You'll Learn: • Why jaw strength acts as a foundational marker for performance and longevity • How jaw alignment shapes posture, proprioception, and neuromuscular firing • Why weak jaws contribute to sleep apnea, snoring, and airway collapse • How jaw training improves Bruxism, clenching, and TMJ tension • What increased cranial blood flow does for cognition and focus • How saliva production supports oral and gut health • Why modern diets shrink facial structure and weaken masseter strength • How jaw resistance training improves facial tone and reduces wrinkle depth • Why athletes use jaw activation to sharpen hand eye coordination • How range of motion training strengthens bone through piezoelectric signaling • Why even five minutes a day creates noticeable results in facial tone and alignment Thank you to our sponsors! -HeartMath | Go to https://www.heartmath.com/dave to save 15% off. -fatty15 | Go to https://fatty15.com/dave and save an extra $15 when you subscribe with code DAVE. -Quantum Upgrade | Go to https://quantumupgrade.io/Dave for a free trial. Hello Content Pups, strap in, seatbelts ON, we're going on a content road trip. This week on the podcast we're talking about Emma Watson's Jay Shetty interview (and the subsequent fall out), the way that GLP-1S, have democratised thinness - and what that means for body trends, and perhaps the biggest divorce in recent pop culture history It's been a hefty week for celeb and pop culture stories, so yes you're exactly right, we're bringing back the EIC headlines; from Nicole Kidman's divorce, to Lola Young's statement and Super Bowl Sunday.Next up, last Wednesday an interview between podcaster and life coach Jay Shetty and actress Emma Watson was released. At time of recording the video of the interview on YouTube has almost 3 million views and over 6000 comments. It's the only podcast she's ever done and her first long form conversation in over five years. They get pretty candid about her recent driving ban for speeding, her complicated relationship to film promotion, sensitivity, fame, if she'll return to acting, Harry Potter- all sorts. But the part that is hitting the headlines most this week is a part towards the end of the interview where Jay asks her about JK Rowling and the relationship between the two women. We get into it.And lastly, Christiana Mbakwe Medina for her Substack, Pop Syllabus, writes, ‘Right now, Ozempic and other GLP-1s are rapidly democratizing thinness, making it attainable to whomever can afford it. As a result, the value of thinness as a status symbol is diminishing, and I believe we're about to enter a significant shift. Be prepared for The Sculpt'. Have you ever felt like your teenager is pulling away, and no matter how much you talk, nothing seems to get through? In this episode, we're joined by Mark Gregston, a ministry leader who has spent over 50 years walking with teenagers through crises, often welcoming them into his home. His insights challenge a lot of the assumptions we make about parenting teens. Mark reminds us that relationships are the most important thing and shares ways to make that connection, and how to transition from parenting littles to older kids. Here is some of what we cover: What to do when mom shame pops up How to know when your teen is just being a teen... and when it's a red flag What to do when your teen surprises you with behavior you didn't see coming How to give them more responsibility and be less controlling Creating a home where relationships flourish is possible—even when things feel hopeless Connect with Mark Gregston: Website: Parenting Today's Teens with Mark Gregston Website: Heartlight Ministries Facebook: Parenting Today's Teens with Mark Gregston Instagram: PTT with Mark Gregston (@parentingtodaysteens) Links Mentioned: Family Crisis Coaching Program - Parenting Today's Teens Heartlight Ministries Parenting Today's Teens Podcast with Mark Gregston eBooks - Parenting Today's Teens Related Episodes: Help for the Unspoken Challenges of Parenting Teens :: Amy Betters-Midtvedt [Ep 493] Three Faith Pillars for Parenting Teens :: Melissa Kruger [Ep 457] Important Topics to Cover with Tweens and Teens about Manners, Technology and Friendship :: Lee Cordon [Ep 408] Featured Sponsors: GoPure: Right now, goPure has a crazy deal.
