It appears VGK General Manager Kelly McCrimmon might have fleeced another team before the trade deadline. VGK traded for Calgary defenseman Noah Hanifin Wednesday. The star defenseman is having a career season with 11 goals and 35 points already. He averages about 24 minutes on the ice per game. Hanifin spent six seasons with the Flames. VGK traded away Danil Miromanov and draft picks. Just like the deal that landed Anthony Mantha in Las Vegas on Tuesday, Calgary is paying half of Hanifin's salary. We believe Kelly McCrimmon isn't done making deals with a couple of days to go. Thursday night, VGK will host division-leading Vancouver The Golden Knights have a lot of ground to make up in the Pacific Division.
