Golden Knights players met with the front office Tuesday. Then some players, GM Kelly McCrimmon, and head coach Bruce Cassidy answered questions for the media. The themes of the presser included adversity, missing an opportunity, and a lack of chemistry. for VGK. McCrimmon said he felt VGK had its best roster the team has had. Cassidy said the team played hard despite not advancing past the first round. McCrimmon said he met with the upcoming UFA's and said that there will be more roster turnover this year. He also said he has had discussions with Jonathan Marchessault's agent. Marchessault said he has done everything to prove he belongs in Las Vegas. Marchessault also said playing without a contract weighed on him this season. We also talk about the San Jose Sharks winning their first ever top draft pick in the Draft Lottery.

Today we take a look at how the state of Nebraska qualifies athletes to their outdoor state track and field meet. *Fun Fact: Nebraska is experimenting with a mixed 4x200m event. They are allowed to contest the event during the regular season, but it's not an official state meet event...yet.

Appearing on the Jeff Marek Show in Canada on Monday, VGK General Manager Kelly McCrimmon defended the team against criticism the Golden Knights have exploited the Long Term Injured Reserve system. He said the insinuation that these aren't significant are ridiculous. He said the NHL polices the rules and the league watches very carefully. The Golden Knights resume play Tuesday night in Seattle against the "stingy" Kraken. Over the past 34 games, Seattle has just allowed 2.26 goals a game, which is fourth in the league during that span. The teams split the first two meetings, with each club winning in their home cities. Seattle trails the Golden Knights by eight points so this is a four-point divisional game. Seattle has a game in hand. We also have our Locks of the Knight and predictions for Tuesday's game in Seattle.

The themes were familiar between Kelly McCrimmon and Bruce Cassidy on opening day of VGK training camp. McCrimmon said he's glad the Golden Knights were able to keep most of their core together, save Reilly Smith, after winning the championship. What you'll learn from this episode: True shamanism is based in our connection with the land we're living on, so for those of us in the UK - where we don't have the intact lineage in the same way as other places, even though we might benefit from learning from shamanic teachers and wisdom keepers from other places, ultimately nothing can replace learning directly from the spirits of the British land. The Three Cauldron power centres are found in the Head, the Heart and the Gut, and map to findings in scientific research and other methodologies. The Lower cauldron in the gut represents your sense of self and safety, when we're born it's upright and full of your lifeforce energy to sustain you through your life - it needs a loving, securely attachment to retain its power growing from childhood to adulthood. A loss of its power can happen via childhood trauma and can show up in fear, depression, and anxiety. Ways to heal it are shamanic healing, EDMR, breathwork and somatic work. The Mid Cauldron in the heart represents emotional intelligence. Issues here show up in triggers and tantrums, healing this cauldron can come via talking therapy, boundary work and shadow work. The Upper Cauldron in the Head represents wisdom, creativity and the higher self. Issues here can show up with blocks in creativity, inspiration and spirituality, working with the cauldron can come via faith, sacrifice and offerings. It is important that we begin with the Lower Cauldron work (or return to do it) as it's where the life force comes from that will sustain us through the work of the other cauldrons.
