Saint Lucia has taken a major step in strengthening its emergency response capabilities with the successful completion of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) training for medical personnel and first responders. Facilitated by the Cross Functional Team from the U.S. Embassy in Guyana, this specialized training conducted under LAMAT-25 equips healthcare professionals and emergency responders with advanced trauma care skills applicable in both high-pressure tactical environments and everyday medical emergencies. Participants received hands-on experience in prehospital trauma management, learning life-saving techniques that can make the difference between survival and loss in critical situations.

Saint Lucian residents are set to receive essential medical and surgical care as the Ministry of Health, Wellness, and Elderly Affairs, in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs, coordinates a Medical/Surgical Mission led by the United States Air Forces Southern medical mission, Lesser Antilles Medical Assistance Team 2025 (LAMAT 25) Scheduled from Monday, February 24 to Friday, March 7, 2025, this mission will deliver advanced healthcare services, enhance local medical expertise, and promote collaboration between visiting and local healthcare professionals  This mission will see a multidisciplinary team of vascular surgeons, general surgeons, cardiologists, dental specialists, anesthesiologists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals delivering critical services. The team will provide medical equipment, medication, and supplies to support this effort. Surgical procedures will be conducted at the Owen King European Union (OKEU) Hospital and Saint Jude Hospital, with specialized dental and cardiology services at OKEU and dental clinics at wellness centres in Anse La Raye and La Clery.

De l'avis même des initiants, il institue une obligation de cotiser mais pas l'obligation, pour l'employeur, d'accorder un congé parental. L'instauration de ce congé parental n'est absolument pas garanti même en cas d'acceptation des électeurs car rien ne garantit que la Confédération autorise le canton à le mettre en place".Autre crainte pour Jocelyne Haller, que ce congé parental se fasse au détriment des femmes:"Ce projet met en danger la LAMat, la loi sur les allocations en cas de maternité ou d'adoption. D'une part, parce qu'il propose que chaque compagnon / compagne puisse donner deux semaines de son propre congé à l'autre, ce qui signifie mettre fin à la spécificité genevoise, des deux semaines supplémentaires en cas de congé maternité. Penser qu'il n'y aura aucune pression sur l'un ou l'autre membre d'un couple pour céder une partie de son congé, ce serait naïf. Le risque vient aussi des employeurs qui pourraient faire pression".

A few weeks ago one of my favourite artists, Lamat, released a new Full on Psytrance album called Countdown To Extinction. This week we feature several tracks from his new album, as well as several of his older tracks, alongside a relatively new release from Electric Universe called Journeys Into Outer Space.

Rush Hour 082 comes direct from Australia where Christopher Lawrence is on the Pharmacy: Phase 4 tour. This episode is jam packed with Pharmacy tracks Christopher is playing on tour and the response has been amazing from Down Under. Track of the Month goes to Orbiteck - The Wicked Rabbit Movement (Fergie & Sadrian Remix), plus there's new tunes from Pharmacy's Microsis, tinY, Frost Raven, Jens Jakob, Lamat and Daniel Lesden. There are also new releases from Paratech, plus remixes from Nick Sentience and Nukleall. This month's guest mix comes from Daniel Lesden, whose brilliant remix of Christopher Lawrence & Jonathan Allyn latest single The Human Element on Pharmacy Music spent several weeks in Beatport's Top 20 singles chart. Daniel Lesden has solidified his sound in recent years and is a name that is rapidly rising through the ranks and and is certainly definitely respected by his peers. Described as "A great up and coming psy producer!” by Simon Patterson, he began his professional career in the music scene in 2012 with his first release ‘Contact’ being snapped up by Ovnimoon Records and spent a number of weeks in the ‘Beatport PsyTrance Release 100’, finally holding firm at #7. A remix of another of the heavyweights of the Psy Trance scene followed this with Ace Ventura’s monumental ‘Presence’, unleashing a more techie sound on this remix that is certain to smash any dancefloor around the world. Receiving phenomenal support from Simon Patterson and a guest appearance on his weekly radio show ‘Open Up’ provided Daniel with the opportunity to share with the world his unique style of ‘Progressive Psy’. His remix of Mac & Monday’s ‘Yoruba’ was voted as one of the listeners favourite tracks of 2013 and played on the celebratory 50th episode of the show. His ability to construct deep and powerful driving bass lines, combined with exceptional melodic moments came of age with his amazing remix of Lyctum’s monster track ‘Galactic Society’ on Synergetic Records shows his technical skills and ingenuity in constructing a hard hitting, melodically driven style not too dissimilar to a comet hurtling through space in all its glory.
