It is not about how much you can get done each day, it is about how much you can get done over the course of a career or throughout a lifetime. We were canoeing down the Weser River. And another 8-person rowing boat, much faster than our boat was over the course of one day always slower than our canoe… Because they had to rest after one kilometer again and again… if you keep doing every day a task, even at a slow pace you can get much more done than a person that is chasing his goal… And the good thing is you are relaxed and enjoy doing your task…If you go on vacation and you should do so every year, switch off your internet connection…. I do so, my friends are complaining and I say always there was no internet connection, actually, there was one, but too slow and too expensive… And then you can relax. Afterward, you are much more productive. I recommend going to China, your social media will not work, or most internet services that you use… Nobody can reach you. Perfect, if you would do the Kailash Chora in Tibet! Rule 1There are two ways to see the world:Some people see the things they want. And some people see what prevents them from getting what they want.Rule 2Take care of each other. We are social beings and reckless behavior on the way to getting the things you want will backfire. My father was very successful and he cried during his speech to his 60 birthday when he mentioned that his friends helped him during his darkest time… And all of these friends were also very successful!Learn to help each other and ask for help when necessary. Honesty say, I can't do it can you help me?The people who like or love you will be delighted to help you. Lesson three:Be a great leader…For instance, Nelson Mandala says: First, hear the opinions of your colleagues. So that every person feels to be heard.Ask questions so that you can understand their opinions.Don't show any approval or disapproval.Second, be the last to speak your own opinion…Lesson Four  Take responsibility for the things where you fail and don't blemish it on other people. Good management is creating an environment where every person is doing his best and so they attract also the best people… Bad management blemishes the people for their misfortune and applauds themselves for their success. My father said we depend on every person that is working for us and so I share our profit with all of them!Lesson fiveBe humble and be thankful for everything that you get…Lesson sixHave a heart for everyone… (1) Focus on what you want, not what gets in the way of what you want. (2) Take care of others (3) Listen first, speak last. (4) Take accountability for your actions(5) Practice humility My Video: Simon Sinek's Advice can change your life https://youtu.be/d7OdlJhtvbk My Audio: https://divinesuccess.net/wp-content/uploads/2021/Podcast4/Simon-Sinek's-Advice-can-change-your-life.mp3

What is a real relationship, or most important? Authentic life-giving relationshipWhy are the relationships not working?1. They don't give their real self; they act like in a movie, make shows, or give different versions of themselves… And that version is configured by traumas so that it protects us from getting hurt again… I participated in many self-experience groups, with encounter/bioenergetic for an entire weekend… And I heard again and again, I know you better than my husband which I have married for 10 years, and that after one weekend. And if we don't start a relationship fresh, with no past experience that influences our behavior, we will end up in the same relationship from which we separated…So we should assume the best about our new partner, not hide or cover up our emotions… The reality is, we don't want to get hurt again, so we like to protect ourselves, and giving just a little bit more might be dangerous…You never can be loved when hurt is an option…If you just open your heart just a little bit then love is no option. The level that you are vulnerable is the level that you experience the love…Which personality you are bringing into the relationship? The broken wounded, needy, pessimistic version of yourself?Or you start new… Remember Nelson Mandela was 20 years in jail. Nelson Mandala asked himself, " Do I want to let go of all the pain and suffering, forgive, and start new? Or do I want to hold on to my past and live in jail? 2. First, we have to heal the wounds inside to start a new relationship…And that needs time… We need time to care for ourselves for our well-being…We are not bringing our full selves into the relationship, be it intimacy, love, friendship, or business, when we allow our traumas to guard us.  We don't tender to ourselves to heal our wounds.3. We don't love ourselves, we can't forgive ourselves and so we can't really love another partner. 4. The relationship reflects on ourselves, and how we deal with our spouses so we treat ourselves. 6. How harder we work on ourselves, so better the relationships become.First, heal yourself.Face your traumas.Face your shame.7. What to do?Analyze the negative patterns that you repeat in relationships. And fix them instead of repeating them. The cause of these negative patterns is traumas or suppressed negative feelings. You come limping to love instead of leaping to love. What you scared that you need at most … This intentional time to heal, and to question yourself.Intentionally time with god, and counselingIf you don't do so you attract what fits your traumas, to heal them…And not what fits you, what you can love most…We have so many traumas inside of us... We address only the traumas we are facing now in the relationship or wherever... And so a therapist is necessary. And you don't care in which relationship you are, perfect or imperfect, and make the best out of it... Instead to wait for the perfect relationship.  My Video: Why relationships don't work out? https://youtu.be/2WZ76rMTVt4My Audio: https://divinesuccess.net/wp-content/uploads/2021/Podcast4/Why-relationships-don't-work-out.mp3

 1. Speaking up, public speaking is an asset this will last 50 to 60 years. 2. Being honest with yourself. Know what you know and know what you don't know, but you got to know your business better than anybody else!3. Having confidence in yourself in the things you are doing is the key yo success. If you have that fire that interior bravery that you can do it… Only then, you can get your brave vision done. It is not about your strategies, or intelligence it is about that you have the faith that you can do it! We have to develop that confidence and that in all areas of life. Confidence is a muscle that you can train, focus on to get stronger… 4. The skill of listening… Nelson Mandala learned from his father, he was the chief: First, let the other people speak and then speak as the last.Focus to be the last to speak instead of just only to listen. If you as the leader give your opinion first, then everybody else feels that they are not being heard. So that they didn't have the chance to contribute… In addition, you get the benefit of what the other people are thinking. Don't nod if you agree or if you don't agree, hold your opinion back!Ask questions so that you understand, why they do have that opinion where they are coming from.5. Learn to manage your time to be effective. Ask yourself, is your life cluttered with stuff that demands you and drains you, and taxes you and stops you from being your highest and best self…? Are you effective or busy…? 80% of the things that we do are not important, so only 20% of our time is well spent.Time is gifted!Be passionate, creative, and excited.Do only 20% of the things, that you have to do… 6. Stop whining, don't complain, and don't think I can't do it.If you complain or are criticizing, put a quarter in that jar… First, choose one day for not whining and then go forward until you don't complain.7. Stay in the here and now. If you are living in the past you are going to be depressed. If you live in the future, you are going to be anxious, because you are anticipating what is coming, or you are wishing for things that aren't happening yet.Being in the present is where the gold is. In the here and now: You have the greatest control. You will feel the most at ease…And only there you can be happy.8. Being consistent. Success is a journey. If you fail you have to pick yourself up and go forward…9. Getting enough sleep to be fit in the next morning. Instead to be tired and not enjoying the day.10 Have empathy… Empathy is that powers all the best in us…It is what civilizes us, it is what connects us. My Video: 10 skills we need and hard to learn. https://youtu.be/8ZhIDvkb_JMMy Audio: https://divinesuccess.net/wp-content/uploads/2021/Podcast2/10.skills.we.need.and.hard.to.learn..mp3

When we talk about and celebrate Independence Day in the United States, or in any country, it is a celebration of an outer change that led to people being free physically and materially, and that's a wonderful and beautiful thing. But what we're coming to understand in this work, is that real freedom can never be attained through changing some outer appearance. It is only attained when we become free of the bondage, slavery, oppression, and the repression of our own inner empire, of the ego reigning like a dictatorial leader.   That's why there's plenty of people living in a “free” country that are in bondage. I remember listening to Nelson Mandala, who was in prison for 26 years, I believe, but he had become free long before that. (And because of that, he was able to set the country free.) Ultimately, you want to become “inner-dependent”. This is where you're no longer leaning on the interactivity of the world, or looking to someone else. You're no longer manipulating and adjusting yourself. Also, no longer leaning even on your own human goodness or human capacities. It's important to know the different kinds of dependence, as these are the stages you typically move through to become inner-dependent: Letting go of co-dependence, coming into independence, growing through interdependence, and ultimately move to inner-dependence. There's co-dependence, where you are not able to feel okay about yourself unless you can make someone else feel okay about themselves. There's independence, where you're free within yourself, individually. You can be financially independent, independent from relationships that you might have been caught in, or independent from your family values and morals. There's interdependence, where you lean and depend on other people and things. You can recognize the value of duality to have other people and other things; humanly you are in an interdependent relationship with nature and with each other. Moving into inner-dependence is learning to lean on the Source beyond your own human capacities and capabilities. Do you truly depend on that presence within you, or are you leaning on what you know from yesterday? The Bible says, “You cannot live on yesterday's manna. If you try to hold onto yesterday's manna it rots in your hands… the manna falls freshly from Heaven every day” – this is symbolizing this knowledge, intelligence, substance. It's always pouring fresh in this moment. You want to go back to the well every day, and throughout the day – every time you're about to start something. Let go of all of your ideas of what “should be”. Let go of your attachment to what was. Let go of all of your opinions, preferences, agendas, goals, and throw yourself wide open to the power, presence, the love of God – to the Divine impulse in this moment – which is always a revelation, and always new. I see in my mind the image of Niagara Falls, which is one of the wonders of the world. The water is gushing with just unimaginable power, velocity and volume, and yet it's never the same water! All of that is flowing fresh and new in every instant, inexhaustibly, but it's not coming from that spot called Niagara. That spot called Niagara is just an opening. It's actually coming from Lake Erie, this massive body of water that's flowing over the falls. I f it was to try to hold onto that water and say, “This is me; this is mine. I depend on this. If I let this just flow over me, I'm going to run out and go dry!”, it would end up cutting itself off from Lake Erie, and it would eventually run dry. Instead, it depends on Lake Erie, and it never runs dry, and it's one of the most powerful waterfalls around. The same is true with you. When you learn to have inner-dependence, not co-dependence, not interdependence, not even just human independence, but inner-dependence, (beyond your own thoughts, your own ideas, opinions and preferences) and lean back into that body of consciousness, it can begin to flow into your life like a mighty river rushing downhill without a boulder in sight, and it's always fresh, and always new. What are public schools doing to or for our children?

Nelson Mandala once said, There can be no keener revelation of a society's soul than the way in which it treats its children. Nelson Mandela If you take some time to examine what's going on in the public school system, and what it's doing to our children, you'd think America's soul had been sold to someone hellbent on destroying American values and virtues. Most of us have heard small soundbites or seen headlines warning parents of what's going on in schools, but when you dig a little deeper, what you find is alarming and horrifying. It's as if there's a small, anti-American contingent that has control over our school systems. They understand that the way to remake America into something it wasn't intended to be is to change the minds of today's children, who will be voting and leading adults within the next two to three decades. Our Founding Fathers understood that well-educated citizens would protect the ideals and integrity of the United States, and that an ignorant or uneducated population would lead to America's demise. They knew that our educational systems would either build or break our nation.  The Founding Fathers maintained that the success of the fragile American democracy would depend on the competency of its citizens. They believed strongly that preserving democracy would require an educated population that could understand political and social issues and would participate in civic life, vote wisely, protect their rights and freedoms, and resist tyrants and demagogues. Character and virtue were also considered essential to good citizenship, and education was seen as a means to provide moral instruction and build character.Center on Education Policy As extreme left-wing ideologies continue to entrench themselves in the public school system, prioritizing fundamental education, has taken a backseat to creating champions of those ideologies. The more I've delved into what's happening, the more concerned I've become as I consider a future where young adults were never taught basic educational skills, are unable to think critically, and fear voices that contradict the indoctrination they learned from their teachers as they grew up. In this brief essay, I can only touch on a few points every parent should consider as they send their kids off to school. At the end, I recommend a best-selling book that'll take you much deeper into how prevalent this issue is, and how deep-seated it is in the school system across the country. Equality of Outcome, Not Educational Excellence Our grandson learned to ski this past winter. Having skied since I was three years old, I understood the importance of learning how to ski the right way, rather than simply sending him down the hill to figure it out on his own, and end up developing bad habits along the way. For his first day on the slopes, we got him a lesson. For his second day, he started with a lesson and then we skied with him the rest of the day, reinforcing the lessons he learned. A couple of weeks later, we got him another lesson. Could he have gotten by without the lessons? Sure. He could have made it down the slopes without them, but just getting down the slopes isn't at all the same as learning to carve, pop, ski backwards, spin, or handle variations in terrain that go from soft snow to ice to unexpected grooves and bumps. I want him to become an excellent skier because it'll give him the freedom to ski wherever he wants, from hills here in the midwest to slopes in the rocky mountains. The better his skills, the more fun he'll have with the sport. Reading, writing, and math are a lot like that. Achieving a high standard in these fundamentals opens other opportunities to learn, think, and communicate. Unfortunately, over the past two decades, schools have prioritized getting kids graduated over holding them accountable to educational standards. In his best-selling book, Race to the Bottom,

Nelson Mandala said - our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, WHO AM I to be brilliant? To be gorgeous, talented and fabulous?Actually WHO ARE YOU NOT TO BE?Fear is what can defeat life, it is clever, adversary, treacherous. What if we had nothing to FEAR but in fact FEAR itself. If love is the answer, and truth is our medicine then why do we fear momentum so much, success, judgement, others so much. It is the glue, the weight, the armour that holds us back from living widely awake. It is time to go beyond, to breathe in our light and reclaim our birthright to shine bright x

Today on the podcast we have Michael Fridjhon. With his wine career now entering its sixth decade, Michael is one of the true doyens of the South African wine industry. His current interests are the Reciprocal Wine Company, an importer and retailer of fine wines; WineX, the biggest wine show in South Africa; the Old Mutual Trophy, one of the key wine competitions in South Africa; he writes on wine for numerous publications around the globe and has been the international voice of South African wine for a generation. Listening to Michael’s experiences during the last 50 or so years was very beneficial for me. He references some key moments in South African history: the Sharpeville massacre of 1960 where police shot dead 60 protesters, injuring many more; the Rivonia Trial of 1963-64 which resulted in the life sentences of Nelson Mandala and others who were convicted of sabotage; and then President P. W. Botha’s Rubicon speech of 1985 which doubled down on the Governments Apartheid policies and led to the collapse of the Rand. Michael is not a historian, and his recollections of these events are drawn from his own experiences. We had a fascinating chat, and I feel that we only scratched the surface of his knowledge and experience. While I wouldn’t go as far as to say that Michael is a controversial figure, he certainly holds unpopular opinions at times. These are usually very well-thought-out positions, whether you agree with them or not, so it makes for good conversation. Unfortunately, the medium we are using to record these podcasts, Zoom, for all its benefits, makes a fast-paced, interactive discussion very difficult. We talk across each other on the discussion about brands and pricing a little bit, and I’d like to explore that with him in more detail at a later date. Perhaps when we can meet face-to-face. In the meantime, I give you Michael Fridjhon….

Resentment is like drinking poison and hoping it will kill your enemies." -Nelson Mandala. When we trade, it is natural to feel resentment and to have revenge fantasies of that person. IN those times it is important to have an enlightened witness to talk to so that they can act. The ABC's in resentment play out when for example: three people are friends and one friend betrays another, the betrayed persons finds out that their friend is still friends with the betrayal. This is very painful and is like a new sense of betrayal. In order to avoid the right and wrong syndrome, it is important to put principles over people. Unless principles of integrity are upheld, and especially in the cases of extreme betrayal, it is not possible to continue to be friends with that third party. Stay safe everyone. Sending you much love during this difficult time.

Co-Dependence, Interdependence, Independence: The Journey of Inner Freedom When we talk about and celebrate Independence Day in the United States, or in any country, it is a celebration of an outer change that led to people being free physically and materially, and that's a wonderful and beautiful thing. If it was to try to hold onto that water and say, “This is me; this is mine. To support you in mastering this, listen to the in-depth podcast on the subject, where we break it down and put it into real-life practice TODAY. This will be a real game-changer. To Your Emergence!
