To expand beyond the conditions of our environment, change our pattern of thought, and choose the road less traveled. We can be calm in the midst of a storm and have peace and joy in our hearts when life seems out of control by choosing to live in the present moment. Laurie Huston from News the Heart is talking with physicist Tom Campbell on Finding Peace through 'liking yourself'. We begin this discussion talking about how finding Peace can only be done in the Now Moment and the problem is that we don't like ourselves so BEing in the moment becomes problematic. We mostly live in the past and our fears were programmed by the age of 7. Loving ourselves is construed as narcissistic, when what we want is to "like our self" which is about 'accepting' who we are and BEing that. Mostly we are trying to BE someone else, someone that we like and hopefully feel others will like. So, what we need to do is discover who we really are and establish if we can like that? We can only change once we know who we are and we can change this through our intention to BE a better person. However, first we need to accept who we are right now and the fears we picked up by believing we are inadequate. The more conscious you are of your fears, the more you have the option to make better choices and BEcome Love. Taking responsibility for how we choose is knowing our intentions and motivations so we can make conscious choices. Remember we are here to Grow towards Love not stay stuck in our fears! Chris Duthridge shares his moving story of how he was able to find freedom from years of sexual abuse and childhood trauma that led to a lifestyle of drug use and violence. Many people are suffering late into their adult year from things that have happened to them even as a child. We we find forgiveness and lend it towards those who have wronged us an even greater measure of forgiveness is then poured out upon us. Not dealing with childhood trauma only leads to creating more trauma and heartache to the lives of individuals of the people arounds us and even to the people we love. We must move from the place of victim and become the victor that God has created us to be. Standing and walking in a lifestyle of complete victory and not being a victim of circumstances is our God-given birthright but many of us end up on default and are blown around to and fro by the winds of change at even the slightest gusts. We must come to realize that life isn't happening to you, but through you. Once we a conscientious of this we then can bring the power back to ourselves and create the life that we have dreamed of by possessing each "Now Moment" by taking every thought captive and speaking out life and peace over our path. Due to technical difficulties last week, only a part of my show was recorded.  That show was deleted and I'm redoing the whole thing this week.  The information and exercised are too enlightening and important to just let it go.   One unusual thing is that you will experience my own words from 1987.  In today’s show, I’m reading the amalgamation I did 30 years ago while just a relative newbie to the whole process.  Joan Culpepper used to have people in her group take turns opening the session with the amalgamation and then she would move would take over to to give out the Higher Self information.  In the opening I do 2 exercises for the group, which is why I’ve left this in.  Both are interesting, powerful and relevant today.  Then the Higher Selves clarify and discuss the Now Moment… and how important it is for us to move into and to utilize it.  There is so much here this week.  Please join me!
