Do you feel like your plan for spiritual growth is resilient? Do you have a plan for spiritual growth? Maybe these questions make you squirm with a little bit of Catholic guilt, but those questions can totally translate to any other area of our life. Is your plan for getting into better shape resilient? Do you have a plan to be physically healthy? You get the idea. If we hope for growth in any area of life, we need to have a plan that resilient to whatever might interrupt our best intentions. This is especially true when it comes to our relationship with Scripture. Our Practice of Scripture can easily be crowded out by the onslaught of a new day, a new crisis at work, or an unexpected poopy diaper. This week's teaching is designed to help you translate your desire (to draw close to God in scripture) to a resilient plan. Here is the document reference in the sermon. If you are struggling in your Bible reading, we would encourage you to stick with us through this sermon series and reach out if you have any questions (info@lakepointmuskego.org).Support the show

Today, we are going to study Jehovah-M'Kaddesh – The Lord Who Sanctifies or “The Lord who sets you apart or makes Holy”. M'Kaddesh is a Hebrew word meaning sanctify, holy, or dedicate. Sanctification is to make holy or to purify or free from sin. Jehovah-M'Kaddesh occurs two times in the Old Testament, first in Exodus 31:13 and again in Leviticus 20:8. 1. God's Call to Holiness 2. God's Provision for Holiness - Restore - Redemption - By His Word and By His Loving Discipline 3. Our Practice of Holiness - Represent and Remove God will not command you to be holy without first enabling you to obey that command. Quote by Leonard Ravenhill: “The greatest miracle that God can do today is to take an unholy man out of an unholy world and make that man holy and put him back into that unholy world and keep him holy in it.” Need to see a miracle in your life? Allow and trust Jehovah M'Kaddesh to enable you to become holy, sanctified and set apart from this world. We as Christians are called to be in this world sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and not of this world. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/deanna-fullerton/message

C/W: Violence “Our practice is about untangling memory. Done well, the petitioner should have no sense of the memory they wanted rid of. This means that our work will often be tedious, we must cultivate patience. Learn to see that network of roots attached to each memory, and work slowly to pry each one free leaving stone intact.” - Notes on Our Practice by the Judgemental Observer Axenius *** Eulogy sits at the heart of Cenja, a small town governed by the monks of the Revenant Chorus. At its centre is the Helctic Library, a monastery where they practice their trade - the taking of memories, to assuage the pain of the grieving. Escorted by Captain Aloma Labrencis, Belka reaches Eulogy with Venz not far behind. Meanwhile, the rest of the camping trip head back to the caravan, where trouble awaits.
