She not only competed in both college and high school in volleyball and dance, but coached volleyball for multiple schools over a ten-plus year period and still hosts volleyball clinics, in addition to playing the sport both recreationally and for an annual fundraiser. In her younger years she played four other sports as well. On the faith side, she has a Master's in Ministry and is a certified Catholic mindset coach. In June she will graduate with a spiritual direction certification. She also hosts a podcast, runs workshops, and does Catholic speaking events.

De cryptomarkt blijft onstuimig. Bitcoin schommelt rond de 90.000 dollar, terwijl veel altcoins onder druk staan. XRP en Cardano zijn uitzonderingen en presteren relatief sterk. El Salvador lijkt afstand te nemen van zijn Bitcoin-beleid. Onder druk van het IMF schrapte het eerder de acceptatieplicht voor Bitcoin. Nu moet het ook stoppen met zijn eigen wallet, miningactiviteiten en Bitcoin-aankopen. Dat laatste was een prestigeproject van president Bukele, die volhoudt dat hij doorgaat met kopen. Dit roept vragen op: schendt hij de IMF-afspraken, of wordt de deal verkeerd geïnterpreteerd? Hoe dan ook, El Salvador's rol als Bitcoin-natie wankelt. Ondertussen begint morgen een cruciale crypto-top in het Witte Huis, onder leiding van 'crypto-tsaar' David Sacks. Donald Trump is aanwezig, samen met invloedrijke figuren zoals Michael Saylor (Strategy) en Brad Garlinghouse (Ripple). Het hoofdonderwerp is de strategische crypto-reserve van de VS. Aanvankelijk zou deze alleen Bitcoin bevatten, maar Trump gaf op Truth Social aan dat ook XRP, Solana en Cardano mogelijk worden toegevoegd. Dit leidde tot heftige koersbewegingen en discussie binnen de cryptogemeenschap. Naast de crypto-reserve staat innovatievriendelijke regelgeving op de agenda, maar het eerste onderwerp overschaduwt alles. Minister van Economische Zaken Howard Lutnick benadrukte dat Bitcoin een speciale rol krijgt in de reserve. Toch kiest Trump er ook voor andere munten op te nemen, vermoedelijk vanwege hun Amerikaanse herkomst. Dit irriteert veel Bitcoin-voorstanders en wakkert speculaties over marktmanipulatie aan. Cardano is bijvoorbeeld vergelijkbaar met Dogecoin in marktkapitalisatie, en de suggestie dat de Amerikaanse staat die munt zou aanhouden, deed de prijs meteen stijgen. De cryptowereld bevindt zich in een stormachtige fase. El Salvador krabbelt terug, terwijl in de VS politieke strategieën de markt beïnvloeden. De introductie van Bitcoin Spot ETF’s op de Amerikaanse beurs wordt door velen gezien als een historisch moment in de financiële wereld. Nooit eerder was er een ETF-lancering met zoveel kapitaalinstroom in de eerste weken. Wat verklaart dit succes? En hoe heeft de markt deze gebeurtenis beleefd? Onze gast is Hein Tibosch, Head of OTC, digital assets bij Flow Traders. Hein was er van dichtbij bij en deelt zijn ervaringen rondom de lancering. Hoe beleefde hij het moment zelf? Wat waren de verwachtingen vooraf en in hoeverre zijn die uitgekomen? We bespreken niet alleen de impact op de markt, maar ook de rol van een partij als Flowtraders binnen de wereld van ETF’s en specifiek crypto-ETF’s. Wat doet een marketmaker in deze markt en welke dynamiek speelt er tijdens zo’n grote lancering? Voorafgaand aan de goedkeuring van de ETF’s zagen we al een hevige concurrentiestrijd rondom de kosten. Verschillende aanbieders probeerden elkaar te onderbieden om marktaandeel te winnen. Hoe gebruikelijk is dit bij nieuwe ETF’s? En waarom hebben sommige fondsen direct miljarden aangetrokken, terwijl andere minder succesvol waren? De marktwerking achter deze kapitaalstromen wordt onder de loep genomen. De komst van deze producten heeft niet alleen de handelsdynamiek veranderd, maar ook de perceptie van crypto bij institutionele beleggers. Wordt crypto nu echt als een serieuze beleggingscategorie gezien? En hoe snel bewegen institutionele partijen eigenlijk? Ondanks de groeiende belangstelling zien we nog geen massale instroom van pensioenfondsen en andere grote vermogensbeheerders. Waar ligt dat aan? Ook de Europese markt komt aan bod. In Europa kennen we al langer de zogeheten ETN’s, die vergelijkbaar zijn met de Amerikaanse producten, maar toch niet dezelfde impact hebben. Wat zijn de verschillen tussen beide structuren? En waarom blijft het succes in Europa vooralsnog uit? Daarnaast kijken we naar Ethereum, waar ook spot-ETF’s voor in de maak zijn. Hoewel de belangstelling voor Ethereum-ETF’s tot nu toe minder groot lijkt, blijft de vraag: hoe belangrijk zijn deze producten voor de bredere cryptomarkt? Tot slot bespreken we de goedkeuring van optiehandel op Bitcoin ETF’s, een belangrijke ontwikkeling die extra handelsmogelijkheden biedt. Wat betekent dit voor de markt en hoe beïnvloedt het de adoptie van crypto binnen traditionele portefeuilles? We sluiten af met de vraag waar dit alles naartoe gaat: welke rol gaat crypto spelen in een moderne beleggingsstrategie? Jakob Hein, 53, Kinder & Jugend-Psychater, Mediziner, Übersetzer, Schriftsteller & Hobby-Imker Sie könnten unseren heutigen Gast auf ganz unterschiedliche Weise kennengelernt haben. Gut möglich, dass Sie ihn - gemeinsam mit seinem Freund Kurt Krömer - auf der Bühne gesehen oder im Podcast gehört haben. Vielleicht haben Sie eines seiner zahlreichen und höchst erfolgreichen Bücher gelesen. Auch möglich, dass er Sie oder Ihr Kind therapierte. Jawohl, Jakob Hein ist Dr. med., er studierte Medizin u.a. in Schweden, Österreich und den USA und spezialisierte sich als Kinder- und Jugendpsychiater und Psychotherapeut. Hein ist, wir erwähnten es gerade, Schriftsteller und dabei ein gleichermaßen kluger, wie ausgesprochen lustiger Mensch. Zur Welt kam er 1971 in Leipzig als Sohn einer Filmregisseurin und eines Schriftstellers, einen Bruder gab’s noch, möglicherweise ein Haustier, danach wird gleich mal gefragt. Jakob Hein versteht es auf sehr unterhaltsame Weise, gesellschaftliche Probleme jedweder Art nachvollziehbar zu erklären. Nicht, dass er dadurch das weltweite Chaos beseitigen kann, aber er trägt dazu bei, es für viele ein bißchen erträglicher zu machen.
