Kingdom Builders: How God Rebuilds What's Been Torn Down Guest speaker Pastor Mike Burnette shares a powerful message from Nehemiah 1, reminding us that God is still building His church and calling us to partner with Him in rebuilding what's been broken.
In the final message of the Seven Letters of Revelation series, Pastor Stephanie examines Jesus' warning to the lukewarm church in Laodicea, challenging believers to move from complacency to wholehearted devotion. Pastor Stephanie emphasizes that Jesus lovingly calls His people to repentance, urging them to reignite their passion, depend fully on Him, and open their hearts to His transforming presence.
This sermon focuses on Jesus' letter to the church in Philadelphia from Revelation 3:7–13, highlighting it as a message of encouragement for believers who feel small, overlooked, or under pressure. Pastor Mike Burnette emphasizes that, like the Philadelphian church, followers of Christ must remain faithful, obedient to God's Word, and steadfast in their devotion even when they seem to stand alone. Ultimately, the message calls believers to “hold fast” to Jesus, trusting that He will reward their endurance with eternal security and make them lasting “pillars” in the house of God.
The sermon, based on Revelation 3:1–6, examines Jesus' letter to the church in Sardis, warning them that although they had a reputation for being alive, they were spiritually asleep and in danger of death. Using Sardis' historical downfall due to a sleeping watchman, Pastor Mike Burnette challenges believers and the church today to “wake up,” repent, and reignite their passion for Christ so their faith is truly alive, not just outwardly impressive. He concludes by encouraging the faithful remnant to stay alert, fully devoted, and “on fire” for Jesus, living ready for His return and the promise of eternal life.
This sermon from the Letters to the Church series focuses on Jesus' message to the church in Pergamum, a city described as being in the heart of satanic influence, yet home to believers who boldly held to their faith. While Jesus commends their loyalty, He also rebukes them for tolerating false teachings and moral compromise, warning that His Word will bring correction if they don't repent. Ultimately, the sermon calls the church today to stand firm in truth, reject cultural compromise, and live faithfully for Christ, trusting in His eternal promises of provision, forgiveness, and reward.

In the first of seven letters to the churches in Revelation, Jesus praises the Ephesian church for its perseverance and commitment to truth, but rebukes them for abandoning their first love for Him—reminding us today that no matter how much we do for God, what He desires most is our passionate, personal relationship with Him, and calling us to return to the basics of faith: remembering our redemption, repenting of drift, and repeating our first love.
This week, we return to the subject of autonomous trucking with a SPAC target that already logged months of its trucks operating autonomously in an industrial setting with rollouts on public highways and defense applications inbound. That company is Kodiak, which announced a $2.6 billion combination with Ares Acquisition Corporation II (NYSE:AACT) in April. Kodiak CEO Don Burnette joins us to explain how the company has sought to blaze a trail to commercialization for the company while burning a fraction of the R&D cash that some of its peers have to get to this same point. Don explains how the company has looked to apply that same capital efficiency to the structure of its SPAC combination and what opportunities he sees on the other side of the company's drive into the public markets.
This sermon, part of the "Forgotten Virtues" series, focuses on the powerful virtues of mercy and grace, reminding the church that although our culture leans toward cancelation and judgment, God's people are called to be radically different — extending mercy as God has done for us. Pastor Mike Burnette illustrates the biblical meanings of justice, mercy, and grace, emphasizing that while justice gives what is deserved, mercy withholds it, and grace gives what is undeserved — all modeled perfectly in Jesus Christ. Ultimately, the call is clear: since we have freely received grace and mercy, we must freely give it, living as reflections of God's character in our homes, workplaces, and communities.
This sermon launches a new series called Forgotten Virtues, focusing on restoring the lost value of living virtuously, starting with the virtue of honor. Pastor Mike Burnette emphasizes that honor is not the same as respect—while respect is earned, honor is given freely—and challenges believers to choose honor in how they treat God, His Word, those in authority, and all people. Ultimately, the message urges the church to reclaim honor as a defining trait of Christ-followers, motivated by the example of Jesus, who honored even those who crucified Him.
This week's Step 3 of the Growth Track, “Take Your Next Step,” calls every person in the Church to discover how they can serve with purpose and make a real difference by joining the Dream Team. Building on the previous weeks of learning about the church's mission and personal gifts, this message challenges the whole church to step into their God-given calling through clear next steps like salvation, small groups, baptism, and serving. With an emphasis on using your gifts to prepare hearts for the Word of God, the message reminds us that serving isn't just helpful—it's holy.
This sermon walks the congregation through Step 2 of the Growth Track, helping them discover their God-given personality and ministry strengths through tools like the DISC assessment and a spiritual gifts survey. The message emphasizes that every person has been uniquely made, gifted, and placed by God to serve with purpose and make a lasting difference in the church and the world.

In this sermon, Pastor Mike emphasizes the importance of praying for everyone, even those we may not like, to foster a more peaceful life and align with God's desire for all people to be saved. It encourages believers to pray and disciple others to increase their knowledge of God, using the exegetical, theological, and homiletical processes to interpret Scripture. Additionally, it explores the beauty of gender differences, urging men to lead in prayer with submission, and challenges both men and women to embrace God's design for roles in church leadership based on biblical principles.
Pastor Mike explored the broken and godless culture of Ephesus during Timothy's time, emphasizing that even in such a harsh environment, God sent the Church to reach the lost. He then defined God's grace, mercy, and peace: grace as the power to live for God, mercy as His pardon when we fall short, and peace as His presence that calms and sustains us. The message encouraged reflection on how we view and ask for God's grace and mercy, prompting us to consider if we rely more on His pardon than His empowering grace.

He explains that freedom is found through surrendering to Jesus, walking away from old baggage, and pursuing spiritual growth with intentionality. He offers four steps for embracing freedom: changing your perspective to focus on Jesus, letting go of sin and emotional weight, surrounding yourself with positive influences, and running the race of faith with endurance.
In this sermon, Pastor Mike Burnette encourages the congregation to start the year with a mindset of transformation, inviting them to ask God, "What changes do You want to make in me?" The message challenges believers to leave behind what holds them back and fully commit to living for God, as this year can be a season of wonders if they align themselves with His will.
This Christmas service focuses on the four key gifts that God offers through the birth of Jesus: Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love. The message emphasizes that Jesus provides the gift of salvation, the freedom to live without the chains of sin, the joy of redemption from past struggles, and the call to live out God's love by serving others. The service invites everyone to receive these gifts fully, as a way of experiencing fulfillment and making a difference in the world, closing with a time of reflection and candlelight singing of "Silent Night."
The sermon Pastor Mike highlighted that while our culture often associates joy with happiness, true joy is a deeper, more enduring assurance that God is in control of our lives. He emphasized the challenge of accepting Jesus not only as Savior but also as Lord, and discussed how joy involves a settled assurance, quiet confidence, and a determined choice to praise God in all circumstances. Through examples like Philippians 3:17-20 and Acts 7:55-56, the sermon encouraged listeners to live with joy as "citizens of heaven" and to model that joy to others, especially during trials.

Ultimately, it calls us to cultivate peace through consistent prayer, devotion, and worship, allowing God's peace to transform our lives and our actions.

He highlighted three promises from Titus 2:11-14—salvation, renouncing worldly passions, and living godly lives—and encouraged reflection on how God is shaping us through these principles. Pastor Mike also reminded the congregation that the world is in desperate need of hope, and as the Church, we have the responsibility to share the hope we find in Jesus with others, especially in times of anxiety, depression, and fear.
