Meet a former A&R rep who was deeply entrenched in the heart of the music industry with giants like Sire Records and Warner and then chose to leave it all behind. Jeff Serafine is a man of many facets. He navigated the ever-changing tides of the music industry and rubbed shoulders with icons. Jeff left the big labels to pursue artist management independently, but life took a series of unexpected turns. Realizing he wasn't fulfilled in the fast-paced world of the music business, Jeff, who initially studied audio engineering and music therapy, ventured into assisting startups until he realized that fledgling businesses were a lot like bands. Jeff's story is a blueprint of daring change, a narrative that challenges the status quo and inspires the maverick in each of us. In our talk, Jeff delves into his experiences in the music industry, sharing insights from his A&R days and reflecting on the industry's evolution. We explore the intersection of art and business, and Jeff opens up about life's unforeseen turns. He humorously discusses the ubiquity of his name and shares his half-serious dream of one day founding a conference exclusively for people named “Jeff.” Our conversation covers everything from the importance of networking – where a simple ride-share could lead to new opportunities – to his pragmatic shift to financial advising. Jeff's journey is a testament to embracing change and finding new paths when the familiar ones diverge. Finally, Jeff shares his love of stand-up comedy and jokes about possibly giving it a try if everything else falls apart. Wrapping up our discussion with Jeff, it's clear that his story celebrates life's unpredictability. It's a narrative that challenges us to find excitement in the unknown and to view each 'hard left' not as a detour but as a pathway to new and exhilarating destinations. This week, we go down memory lane 20 years ago with both the yearbook and audio-visual department innovator, Scott Serafine. He was the driving force to help get West Side Story to my high school then and look into how that came about. Also, how he helped changed the way both the A-V and yearbooks were being done that were really a true positive not only to Wilby H.S., but also the A-V during his times working at both Taft and the Waterbury Arts Magnet School. He also has some honorable mentions that contributed to the schools in a major way and how the famous B.E.T. got involved with Wilby. Plus, thank you to his wife Lillian for sitting in with us to help out with some of the information needed during our chat.
Sarah is joined by David Serafine, 3x author of highly visual and purpose-driven wordcraft. They are talking about social impact initiatives for the busy executive. Find out more about David here: beforetheashesfallthefilm.com

Even if it turns out to be nothing, we end up with some buffer, and we plan on coming back to Fellowship to fill downtime between campaigns. Thank you for your support and understanding, as always.
Mojca Potrč has a great voice so it's no surprise to find her in the centre of SNG Maribor where she is a much respected member of the team. But she is also involved in much more, as a member of the trio Serafine, working on other projects in the area of blues and jazz and further promoting the work of others. Keep an eye open for the oppportunities for any musician to get involved with Godalkenje with Musical Director Bojan Cvetrežnik which Mojca is also promoting. A great mix of music can be enjoyed in this show.

At last, the journey has reached its conclusion. In this world after Apocalypse, what ending remains for our heroes?
Time has run out: the Apocalypse is here. Serafine, Gaelin, Davi, and River engage in their final confrontation with the Angel and Alesta. The world is ending; who will be saved?
Dawn breaks on the seventh and final day. Davi and River infiltrate the Ecclesiat to rescue Praeton, while Alesta prepares her sacrifice.
The magi have crafted a spell that they believe will allow Serafine to hear the Hapax. Every guild and faculty gathers on the Magistatiem lawns, to cast one of the most complex spells ever written...
Davi, River, Gaelin, and Serafine return to the Magistatiem. While Davi convinces the magi to aid their cause, River must hide her identity from those who would destroy her without a second thought.
Upon learning that River has escaped, and Praeton is to be sacrificed instead, Gaelin confronts Alesta. Later, Serafine reunites with him, and plotting commences.
Serafine and Praeton attempt to rescue River before Alesta can sacrifice her. At the Magistatiem, Davi comes to terms with the destruction wrought by the fire.
River struggles to cope with her emotions after receiving news that fire has ravaged the Magistatiem. Davi has yet to return. Not only is his fate unknown, but River's aither supply is exhausted, leaving her in very real danger as well.
Serafine wakes Davi before dawn with the news that the Magistatiem is burning. Duty and desperation force Davi's return to the magi - heedless of the reception awaiting him.
While ministering to the City's residents, Gaelin discovers that the Magistatiem is planning something, but Davi suspects a trap. Meanwhile, Alesta's efforts to appease the Angel take a drastic turn.
It is the morning after Serafine's revelation, and the skies rain blood. Davi and River experiment with the aither, eventually drawing Praeton into their investigation.
During Osvald's funeral, Alesta officially assumes leadership of the Ecclesiat. Afterwards, Serafine gathers Gaelin and company in the anchorage cells...answering some questions, but raising many more.
Gaelin and company continue their investigation into the Hapax. Unexpected discoveries leave Gaelin feeling disillusioned and more drained than ever.
Father Osvald is dead, and Gaelin struggles to cope with the aftermath. Davi and Serafine venture into the City to check on the bridges' progress, while Praeton and River bond.
Gaelin and Alesta examine the "Prophecies of St. Memoyah," and discover references to the Hapax: the Word of Ael, the Word which began all creation. Meanwhile, Davi and River seek refuge in the Ecclesiat. They stir Gaelin's sympathies, but by passing River off as human, they play an increasingly dangerous game.
