See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Send me your thoughts in a Text MessageIn the Stay Spiritual interview, I talk about the quiet flip from seeking to seeing — the moment when the pressure dissolves and looking into your own present experience becomes the first real step toward peace. So many seekers carry a private heaviness that is difficult to name. It isn't just the desire for awakening; it's the subtle tension of feeling behind, of trying to catch up, of believing that others are closer to something you can't quite touch. The desperation grows quietly, and often nobody sees it. In this conversation, I speak about how that weight begins to fall away when the attention turns from ideas of awakening toward the simplicity of what is here now. When the grasping relaxes, even just a little, something softer begins to open.I also share the beginning of my own journey — the moment a single question revealed that nobody is running the show. It didn't arrive with fireworks or certainty. It came as a simple seeing, unmistakable and ordinary, like noticing something in plain sight that had been missed for years. Nothing dramatic changed, yet everything shifted. I felt more like coming home than discovering something new.If you've been seeking for a long time, if glimpses rise and fade, or if part of you quietly fears that you're missing something essential, I hope this meets you with gentleness. You don't need to push yourself any further. You don't need to earn clarity. You don't need to become someone different. The doorway is not in the future. It's right here in whatever you're experiencing in this moment.Beneath the movement of seeking, there is a natural ease that never leaves. It becomes visible when the fight to get somewhere rests for a moment. When you turn toward your immediate experience — without pressure, without comparison, without trying to fix anything — you begin to feel the ground under your own feet again. And often, that is where the real shift begins.Find James & Justin here: @stayspiritual Join my newsletter for updates: https://ilonaciunaite.com/subscribe/Support the showWebsiteshttp://ilonaciunaite.comhttp://liberationunleashed.com

This week we have a group of CX and BPO experts who recently visited Georgia. This nation of 3.6m people is positioned on the Black Sea, at the intersection of Europe and Asia, and is working hard to position itself as an attractive destination for CX and BPO sourcing. Peter Ryan talked to people who travelled with him to visit Georgia this year to explore questions such as the ease of doing business there, the opportunity for multilingual CX, and how Georgia is attracting more digital and high-tech talent. Featured in the discussion: Elona Ymeri Service Delivery Manager, Assist Digital Tirana, Albania https://www.linkedin.com/in/elonaymeri/ Traci Freeman Managing Member, Believe Consulting Johannesburg, South Africa https://www.linkedin.com/in/tracifreeman/ Jasen Shirley Head of Customer Service and Sales, North America/Canada, SIXT Riverview, Florida, US https://www.linkedin.com/in/jasen-shirley-688a651b8/ ------------ https://www.investingeorgia.org/ https://www.linkedin.com/company/enterprisegeorgia/ https://www.enterprisegeorgia.gov.ge/ SUMMARY: Mark Hillary and Peter Ryan discuss a recent visit to Georgia sponsored by Enterprise Georgia, highlighting the country's potential as a CX and BPO destination. The trip involved 15 stakeholders, including Jason Shirley, Ilona, and Tracy Freeman, who all shared their impressions in the discussion. Key points include Georgia's cultural alignment with the West, fast internet, co-working spaces, and ease of business setup. The Government Services Center was praised for its efficiency and customer service. The discussion also touched on Georgia's multilingual workforce, advanced skills, and the potential for complex services. Comparisons with Jamaica and other established BPO destinations were made, emphasizing Georgia's readiness for higher-value outsourcing.
What would you do if buying your dream home meant giving up your dog? In 2018, Cait Conroy and her husband were forced to confront Prince George's County, Maryland's decades-old “pit bull” breed ban when it threatened their beloved Poptart. That experience sparked Cait's ongoing advocacy — not just for her own dog, but for all dogs and pet parents impacted by this harmful law. In this episode, Cait and Ilona from the PG Pet Unity Project share the shocking history of why “pit bull” dogs were banned in PG County in the 1990s — and the deeper consequences this law has had on families, the animal welfare system and the dogs. From wasted taxpayer dollars to ineffective public safety outcomes, we dig into why breed-specific legislation fails families, communities and dogs. This week, we sit down with Ilona Logvinova, Director of Practice Innovation at Cleary Gottlieb, and Max Junestrand, CEO and Founder of Legora, for a deep dive into how their partnership is reshaping the legal landscape through AI-driven innovation. The conversation kicks off with the origin story behind Cleary's strategic alliance with Legora, a legal tech platform focused on collaborative, AI-first workflows. The two share how this relationship, built on a year-long pilot and mutual alignment in vision, is now delivering real-world benefits across Cleary's legal teams.Max walks listeners through the evolution of Legora's product suite, which includes a general-purpose assistant, tabular contract review, and a Microsoft Word plugin, all wrapped into a seamless collaborative workspace. Ilona elaborates on Cleary's multi-pronged AI strategy, emphasizing a hybrid approach that integrates both in-house tools (such as Springbok AI) and external partnerships like Legora. This merger of internal and external capabilities reflects a broader shift in legal innovation—from static solutions to agile, embedded systems designed for continuous learning and adaptation. One major theme explored is the shift in legal AI from isolated tools to interoperable ecosystems. Max stresses the importance of collaboration and avoiding silos, pointing to a future where legal tech isn't just smarter, but also more connected. Ilona reinforces this by describing Cleary's vision of AI as a co-worker, not a replacement, likening AI oversight to supervising junior associates. The goal, they argue, isn't to eliminate human involvement, but to elevate it—using AI to take over repetitive tasks while freeing lawyers to focus on high-value strategy and creativity. The episode also covers practical aspects of deployment and adoption, offering insight into why Cleary's rollout has been so successful. Ilona credits the intuitive design and high-value use cases as key drivers of firmwide engagement. From Zoom calls with 1,000 attendees to chatbots that feel more like using Google than enterprise software, Cleary's AI integration strategy is centered on simplicity, accessibility, and a relentless focus on user experience. The team's use of analytics and continuous feedback loops further ensures the platform evolves to meet real-world needs. In the crystal ball finale, Max and Ilona speculate on what's next. Max anticipates a dramatic consolidation in user experience across legal tech platforms, driven by agents and large language models that enable seamless workflows. Ilona envisions a future shaped by AI-native infrastructure and even screenless computing environments, where collaboration is immersive and spatial rather than tethered to screens. Their shared message is clear: the future of legal work is collaborative, AI-enhanced, and closer than we think. Whether you're a tech-savvy partner or a cautious associate, this episode offers a compelling look at how forward-thinking firms are already building the legal practice of tomorrow.Listen on mobile platforms: Apple Podcasts | Spotify | YouTube[Special Thanks to Legal Technology Hub for their sponsoring this episode.] Blue Sky: @geeklawblog.com @marlgebEmail: geekinreviewpodcast@gmail.comMusic: Jerry David DeCiccaTranscript
