The Wellness For Makers podcast has been a game changer for me. As someone who spends a lot of time engaged in repetitive motions and sitting at a desk, I have found the tools and information provided by Missy to be invaluable in taking care of my body and mind. This podcast has not only educated me on the importance of self-care, but it has also introduced me to a wide range of creatives who inspire and motivate me in my own artistic pursuits.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is Missy's gift for interviewing. She has a unique ability to draw out the best stories from her guests, making each episode engaging and thought-provoking. The topics covered in this podcast are diverse and relevant, catering to artists and makers from all walks of life. Whether you are an art teacher like myself or simply someone who spends long hours working at a desk, there is something for everyone here.
I must say that I have yet to come across any significant negative aspects of this podcast. The only minor downside I can think of is that sometimes the episodes run a bit long, making it difficult to find enough time to listen to them in one sitting. However, this is a small inconvenience compared to the wealth of valuable information shared throughout each episode.
In conclusion, The Wellness For Makers podcast is an absolute gem. Missy's knowledge about self-care and her ability to connect with her guests make this podcast an essential resource for anyone looking to improve their well-being as they pursue their creative passions. Whether you are an artist, maker, or simply someone looking for ways to take better care of your body and mind, I highly recommend giving this podcast a listen. It will leave you inspired, motivated, and equipped with practical tools for living your best creative life.

We often know what we should do. How many times has your body told you to readjust your posture, stretch, drink a glass of water, or take a nap, and you ignored it? How many times have you powered through pain or strain to get something done? We often know what we can do to care for ourselves now but we ignore the signals our body sends us until the signal gets louder and louder. But why?
I am so excited to introduce this week's guest to the show. Andrea Lui is a board certified clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy (OCS), and is skilled in treating a variety of patients with acute and chronic pain. She was inspired to put out short videos with information on stretches, strengthening exercises, and information on how to care for your body. No matter what type of maker you are, I know you will get a lot out of today's conversation. So let's dive in!
