In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly discuss the idea of making the audience appreciate individually how precious their life is. Coming to grips with that. John talks about when this really came home in his life. It was when his mom was dying of pancreatic cancer when he was 50 years old. At the same time John was engrossed in reading think and grow Rich probably 20 times to figure out the full secret of that legendary book. And as he would go to the hospital every night to see his mom, after he saw her he would cry his eyes out in the hospital parking lot for like 45 minutes every night. John had never experienced anything so gut wrenching. What he came to realize was that he felt like he was letting his mom down with his average life. After his mom and dad had given him all the advantages. That's when John really came to appreciate how precious his life as he saw the gift of life leaving his mom. And in the end, that feeling of letting his mom down with his life with like rocket fuel in causing John to go deeper than anyone on the planet ever had to figure out the full secret of think and grow Rich. And the essence of what John created with his 12 minute a day technique is a way of doing life. Most people are just winging life. They don't have an actual way of doing life. But that's what the think it be it 12 minute a day methodology is. An actual way of doing life. During this podcast John also brings up another concept. You're the problem and you're the solution. Whatever problem you have in your life you are the problem. But here's the good news. You're also the solution. Once you grasp this, it's tremendously empowering. And you use the TIBI methodology to implement the solution. And then finally John and Kelly talk about the process of enlightenment. It's not linear. There are pivotal moments in your life where your level of enlightenment goes much higher. From learning one or two key things from someone more enlightening you are.Buy John's book, THE MISSING SECRET of the Legendary Book Think and Grow Rich : And a 12-minute-a-day technique to apply it here.About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing. In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly talk about as we get older, we tend to become more enlightened. John gives two examples. A few years ago he noticed that the only time he ever really lost his temper was at technology. And he would get angry out loud. Then he stepped back from that and realized – what good does that do. It only made him more stressed. So he decided to change that. And he put that enlightenment in his daily visualization. Well immediately, that stopped. Because he trained his subconscious mind to not get angry out loud.Another example John had is this. It's in driving. Not long ago John became aware of the disc profile. And how there's four different distinct personality types. Which one you are is a function of do you do things fast or do you do them slow. And whether you're people oriented or task oriented. John is a D. He does things fast and is task oriented. As an example, his wife Ginger is a C. She basically a perfectionist. Does things slow and is task oriented. As all this relates to driving, John noticed that in the past he would get frustrated at people that were going slow. Especially if he was on a 2 Lane Rd. and he couldn't pass them. Then from becoming more enlightened he's like okay that person that's going slow is just a different personality type than he is. They have a right to go slow just like John feels like he has a right to go fast. And he learned with regards to patients to see who has control and when he doesn't have control, just lean into patience. He then put that in his visualization. And immediately he became a much more patient driver.Kelly then mentions a great Mel Robbins podcast on communication. The essence of the podcast is what you say is who you are. You compress your personality into what you say. And during the podcast they talk about some great communication tips. As an example, if someone ever insult you, make them repeat it. Go, what did you say? Would you repeat that? You are delaying their gratification. Flipping it back on them. You take the fun out of the insult for them.Another tip is if you ever have to give bad news. You want to say what you need to say immediately. Jump right in. Whatever you're trying to craft the exact right words when you're giving someone bad news, it's agonizing for the other person. Don't inch by inch it. Get right into the bad news. And tell them you're being straight with them because you know they can handle the truth. Another tip is to have a standard way of answering how are you. And maybe pause before you answer. This conveys to the other person that you really are giving them a thoughtful answer. And of course using the think it be it methodology, you can easily incorporate these communication tips into your visualization so they show up automatically without thinking.About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing. In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly discuss the art of living as it relates to your romantic relationship. John points out that the fact that your partner has either estrogen or testosterone coursing through their veins. And that's radically different than what you have coursing through your veins. John points out that people are who they are based on their genetics and what is come into their consciousness to this point. But the third factor is do they have estrogen or testosterone coursing through their veins. The net effect is that other people don't look at the world like you do. And this is particular true if they are of the other sex. So you have to dial that in as you interact with your partner. And let it be okay for them to not see the world just like you do. But it's extremely valuable to do what Kelly suggests which is to convey to your partner what you need, so they are not guessing. John goes on to say that lately he really has been contemplating this idea of the art of living. Part of it is understanding how to deal with other people. Also putting your life in perspective. And focusing on what you can control and letting go of the things you don't control. In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly discuss what people will experience in the first 30 days of doing this 12 minute a day technique. John mentions that the first 15 days is just creating the habit of doing it consistently every day. And not worrying about doing all the things you say you're going to do in the visualization. Rather, in the first 15 days, just create the habit of reading it every day. Then about 15 days in, the second phase kicks in. Now you're embracing taking the actions you're articulating in your life GPS template. Then the third phase kicks in about 21 days in. Right actions start happening automatically. John goes on to say that then in the 30 to 60 day timeframe, you'll experience some guilt. But that's a good thing. Guilt is coming into your life because you're not doing some the things you said you're going to do. But that guilt gets you back on track. After about 30 days of guilt, it goes away. Because you simply find that it's easier to actually do what you say you're going to do than to suffer with the guilt. One of the other things that comes up is John talks about how the initial visualization is combination of his words and the clients words. Well that's how it has to be to launch the visualization. But as quickly as possible, the client is instructed to make all the words their words. Change any words you don't like or don't resonate with you. But don't change the structure of the template. John also points out that sometimes people are being introduced to new concepts like intellectually how to deal with other people. John points out that in the visualization it's noted that people are a combination of their genetics and what has come into their consciousness to this point in their life. And it's important to acknowledge which of the four different personality types of person is according to the disc profile. Sometimes all this is a new concept for someone. And so they have to wrap their heads around new concepts as well. So that's an overview of what you'll experience in the first 30 to 60 days. In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly discuss the concept of working smarter not harder. Kelly is a great example of doing this. Recently she went to one of her competitors in the recruiting space. That is more successful than she is. Visited their offices with a couple of her team members. They learned so much. Now they're in the process of implementing what they learned in their own business. Now that is working smarter not harder. John then talks about the difference in his life of working smarter in his 50s versus working harder in his 30s and 40s. What a difference. In his 50s he was highly organized with a system where he planned his day the night before, time blocked his days, and identified his top three priorities. Then he was deep thinking two times a week. Thirdly he was growing and growing strategically every week relative to what you want to accomplish. And lastly he understood how the human mind works. And it gave him immense control over his life. None of that was happening in his 30s and 40s. And that's why he was able to 25X his income in his 50s over what he had made in his 30s and 40s. Today most people don't really think that deeply about the concept of working smarter. And when people talk about it, they're not really specific about it. Well it's simple. Be highly organized, be deep thinking two times a week. Be growing with a system, and understand how the human mind works. And appreciate the profound ramifications of 95% of your daily thoughts and actions being unconscious. You have to gain control over those unconscious daily actions. Otherwise you're playing the game of life at 5% your potential.Buy John's book, THE MISSING SECRET of the Legendary Book Think and Grow Rich : And a 12-minute-a-day technique to apply it here.About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing. In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly discuss the concept of the power of personal growth. Kelly had the benefit of growing up with a father who was big into personal growth. Accordingly, ongoing personal growth is who Kelly is. John didn't have the same good fortune. When he turned 50 and he wasn't as successful as he thought he should be, he saw that in his 30s and 40s he was too busy for personal growth. Big mistake. And when he got into his 50s, he rectified that. By creating a system for personal growth. That made it both consistent and strategic relative to what he wanted to accomplish. It was foundational in causing his income to go up by 25 times over the $200,000 a year he was making the prior 20 years. In this episode John acknowledges that many people don't have an appreciation for personal growth because their life experience hasn't shown them how valuable it is. But does everybody have to learn everything the hard way?. John makes the contention that nobody is smart enough to be highly successful on their own. Nobody. And you actually don't have to be the smartest person in the world. Just be a conduit of learning. Continually learning from experts. At the end this podcast John explains that on March 28, which is a Friday at 11 AM central time, John is going to conduct the quarterly 2% mastermind. Helping people using the 12 minute a day methodology tweak up there life GPS template. And allows them to ask questions. In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly discuss the concept of why people don't always see things like we do. And they discuss what is the effect on both of us and them. During this podcast John points out that sometimes the difference of opinion has no real impact. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. And everybody processes information differently. That's why there is a difference of opinion. But sometimes there is more at stake. It's more than that a difference of opinion. It's right or wrong. The opinion that is right is always the one that is closest to the truth, or what we would define as reality. The truth is reality.John talks about Elon Musk sending an email to all 2 million federal employees telling them to respond to see if there are real people behind the emails. As John and Kelly discussed it, they had different opinions. Processing the same information but differently. But it's just a matter of opinion. Then John talked about the Ukraine more. Trump saying Ukraine started the war. A clear falsehood. Now we've moved from something that is just an opinion to something with real consequences. Over 1 million people have been killed in this war. Biggest war in Europe since World War II. Clearly Trump is wrong. Ukraine clearly did not start the war. So Trump is clearly wrong. And the decisions he's making for the United States are to our detriment. Because he's ignoring the truth. And that's the point. When people have a different opinion, sometimes it's just a matter of opinion. But sometimes there is way more at stake. Key is to tune into what is the truth. The position that is closest to the truth, which is reality, is the opinion that is correct. John talks about teaching his think it be it methodology to his class at the University of Texas. Most of them are fully on board. Excited about what they're learning. But if a few are resisting it, then they are doing it at their own peril. Because their own successes is on the line. And to deny something that clearly is proven to be true and based on science, is to their detriment. But it's their choice.Buy John's book, THE MISSING SECRET of the Legendary Book Think and Grow Rich : And a 12-minute-a-day technique to apply it here.About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing. In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly explain what the full secret of the legendary book Think and Grow Rich actually is. As you may know, this legendary book that has been read by 150 million people, says there's a secret for success. But the author only reveals half the secret. John was blessed to figure out the full secret and a 12 minute a day technique to apply it. It caused his income to go up by 25 times over the $200,000 – $300,000 a year he was making the prior 20 years. Also met his wife from doing this. The bottom line is this 12 minute day methodology gives a person immense control over their lives. Beyond what they've ever experienced before. And here's what the full secret is. What you envision in detail, with emotion, on a daily basis is what shows up in your life. What that means is you create immense clarity about your life. Exactly the person you want to be, exactly what you want to accomplish, and precisely how you're going to achieve your clearly defined goals. Then you put that clarity on a template. So that it succinct enough to read it or listen to it in 12 minutes a day. Also allows for the science of the subconscious mind to be properly applied. But once that clarity is on the template, you feed it to yourself every day. After approximately 21 days, the science kicks in and the magic happens. And what you're feeding yourself starts to show up automatically without thinking in your thoughts and actions.Once you begin doing this, three things happen. First, you feel immense CONTROL over your life. Of course you would, you're feeding the succinct articulation of your life yourself each day. The second thing you feel is confidence. Which is a direct result of the control you feel. And the third thing you experience is the right actions and thoughts start happening automatically without thinking. In this podcast John goes on to say that a person's way of doing life comes down to their morning routine. Everybody has a morning routine. But only 2% of people have a morning routine that impacts their mindset. And that's significant because your success in life as well as your enjoyment in life comes down to the thoughts that are going on in your head on an ongoing basis. So if you want to have a productive and happy life, you have to influence your mindset every morning in your morning routine. Otherwise you are innately wired for survival. Which causes you to live your life being fear-based and reactive. As John and Kelly dig deeper into this they talk about how feeding the succinct articulation of your life yourself each day profoundly impacts your identity. Who you are. It also impacts the filter for the brain. Your reticular activating system. It gives the filter for your brain immense clarity to bring into your life the things that you want. Essentially the law of attraction.Buy John's book, THE MISSING SECRET of the Legendary Book Think and Grow Rich : And a 12-minute-a-day technique to apply it here.About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing. In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly discuss the concept of being highly organized. Because the mind thrives on order. The subject came up because John is now teaching his simple organizational system to his class at the University of Texas. Where you plan your day the night before, where you time block your day, and you identify your top three priorities each day. In John's new book, he provides this to do system to purchasers of the book. John says that the starting point for being highly successful is being highly organized. Like a nine or 10 on a scale of 1 to 10.John talks about how his system is pen and paper, rather than digital. John makes the point that you do not want a to do system that is digital. Because it promotes shallow thinking. With social media today, we live in a flip through culture. And by the nature of that, it causes us to be shallow thinking. John gives a great example of that. Where person can know that 95% of their daily thoughts and actions are unconscious but they're not thinking deep enough to understand the profound ramifications of that. It's because we live in a shallow thinking culture. And when your daily to do's are tied to your computer in the form of being a digital system, it promotes shallow thinking. To wrap up this episode John talks about the power of using chat GPT to refine emails. Or to even go deep on a particular subject. At the end of this podcast he explains how chat GPT took his understanding of the above-noted fact that 95% of your daily thoughts and actions are unconscious and saw how chat GPT went deeper into the ramifications than John had. In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly discuss the concept of how your intelligence changes as you get older. As some of you know, John is really into his health. And in addition to his regular doctor, he has a relationship with a health organization called humanaugt health. Where he pays $350 a month and gets his blood tested four times a year. Meets with his doctor once quarter. And the doctor prescribes different peptides or supplements as appropriate. As part of this, John took a mental dexterity test. It involved connecting a hodgepodge of letters and numbers on the screen. And the test was to see how quick he can do it.John realized that while this is more mental dexterity than intelligence, mental dexterity really isn't all that valuable unless you're a professional gamer or a fighter pilot. John notes that his intelligence, or what is left of it, has evolved to him being really good at seeing the solutions to problems and getting at the essence of what creates success. Kelly then talks about emotional intelligence. And John and Kelly get into how most people are not very self aware. They embrace being victims but don't even realize it. They focus on only talking about themselves and not realizing it. John mentioned that now that he goes on lots of podcasts to support his book, he often asked people a question at the start of the podcast. How do they create success? Most people don't really have a way of creating success. Accordingly, there just winging life and re-creating their past.In this podcast John explains how he creates success. Here's what he says. My daily actions determine my success in each area of my life. 95% my daily actions are unconscious, are on autopilot. Accordingly, I take control those unconscious daily actions. By feeding the succinct articulation of my desired life to myself each day in my morning routine. Then right actions happen automatically, and I have a powerful force pulling me forward to my desired life. In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly discuss the concept of creating a nest egg so you can retire. In discussing this, Kelly notes that she was a saver from a young age. Literally putting aside 20% a year. She was taught this by her dad who made her read the classic book Richest Man in Babylon. It truly is a fabulous book that really explains the concept of saving and compounding interest. John points out that he wasn't that enlightened when he was younger. He didn't really save in his 30s and 40s because he thought he would hit it big at some point in his entrepreneurial career. Fortunately he did. But it wasn't a good strategy not to be embracing savings from a young age.John talks about how when he sold his company he got a large amount of money. And his idea was he just had to get about 5% return on the money in order to pay all his living expenses. But he discovered something he wish he had been alerted to at a younger age. Investment planners and money managers always tell people to diversify as opposed to investing their money in the S&P 500. With the idea of avoiding that 30% drop in the market that happens about every 10 years. But John found that not to be good strategy. Inevitably, that strategy of diversification would maybe cost John 10% a year of less returns than he would've gotten if he had invested in the S&P 500.So John is now at the point of embracing the idea of just putting his money in the S&P 500 and not doing anything else. This is actually the strategy of Warren Buffett. He says that by investing in the S&P 500, you're investing in the United States. Which is the most powerful and innovative country in the world. And in the long run, that works out. Then John goes on to talk about the concept of never loaning money to anyone. Make that your golden rule. Kelly says she never learns money with the expectation of getting it back. And the last tidbit John talks about is never doing private investments or limited partnerships. Only invest in the S&P 500 and publicly traded stocks. The last thing John and Kelly talk about is clarity. Most people have about 40% clarity in their life. Watch what happens when you get it up to 100% clarity and you feed that clarity to yourself each day. Game changing. About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing. In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly discuss the concept that lots of people feel. I thought I'd be further along by now. Both Kelly and John have experienced this. Kelly experienced it when she was about 35 and finally making the leap to entrepreneurship. She always envisioned that she would be an entrepreneur from a very young age. But at 35 she'd never made the leap. John experienced this when he was both 40 and 50.One of the things to do to overcome this is you must establish a personal mission statement. Something that really drives your life. And it's got to be emotional. And it's got to be something beyond yourself the drives your life. That's really the starting point for accelerating your success in life. John talks about then discovering a success formula. And giving up hope by the time he turned 50. Ironically, he discovered the success formula in the most logical place at 50. The top book in the world on success. But it wasn't on the surface. It was buried deep inside Think and Grow Rich. And that's the essence of this podcast. The reason lots of people feel like they should be further along with their life is because they're just winging life. They don't have an actual way of doing life. And the effect is they keep on re-creating the past. During this podcast John and Kelly talk about the power of not only having a success formula, such as our 12 minute a day methodology, but also being self-aware. John and Kelly talk about their journey of becoming more enlightened. In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly discuss the concept of mindset. A concept we hear a lot about today. But what is mindset. John and Kelly discuss this at length. And John has a very simple explanation of mindset. It's controlling your thoughts. And here's the significance of controlling your thoughts. Your daily actions determine your success in life. Every action must first be preceded by I thought. Accordingly, when you control your thoughts, you control your actions. Then John points out the most significant thing he ever learned in his life. That 95% your daily thoughts and actions are unconscious. Accordingly, if they are unconscious then your subconscious mind therefore controls your life. And to gain control of your thoughts and actions, again 95% of which are unconscious, you must proactively manipulate the subconscious mind. So logical it hurts.During this podcast John Kelly discuss the bifurcation of society. Only 2% of people today have control over themselves and 98% of people do not. We have all sorts of technological advances going on in society, but people's ability to control themselves is decreasing. And John points out that the differentiator between the mega successful and the moderately successful is control of self and focus. Control of self is your daily actions. Focus is your thoughts. Mindset is all about controlling your thoughts. And that's what our 12 minute day methodology is all about. Impacting the creation of your thoughts. So the right actions happen automatically without thinking.Buy John's book, THE MISSING SECRET of the Legendary Book Think and Grow Rich : And a 12-minute-a-day technique to apply it here.About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing. In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly explained that as human beings, we are all innately wired for survival. That's not a good thing. Because it causes 75% of our thoughts to be fear-based, we're reactive rather than proactive on our important agenda, and we're profoundly resistant to change. Now those things were actually what kept us alive 50,000 years ago, but it's exactly the opposite of how we need to be in order to be productive, creative and happy in the modern world. So you have to overcome being wired for survival. But there's other aspects as well that come with being wired for survival. It causes us to be lazy, causes us to be self focused. An example of being self focused is what you experienced during the Christmas season. Seeing friends and family. How often did they ask about you? Probably not very often. Because most people are so totally self focused and they're not even aware of it. But that's the effect of being wired for survival. And you overcome being wired for survival using the 12 minute a day technique John and Kelly talk about. And John brings up something else that's interesting. There's a fundamental problem with the success and human achievement business. The problem is it doesn't materially impact people's success. Because the industry by and large misses one fundamental fact. 95% of a person's daily thoughts and actions are unconscious. In the success and human achievement field, everyone is pitching different strategies. Things like focus on what moves the needle, be highly organized, have a system for personal growth. And hundreds of more of strategies. But you don't need more strategies. You need to be able to take the great strategies you already know and make them happen automatically without thinking. So when the success and human achievement field pitches different strategies to your conscious mind, all it is doing is impacting your intentions. Since 95% your daily thoughts and actions are unconscious, your subconscious mind controls your life and your success. And therefore you have to have a methodology that impacts the subconscious mind. Which is what the think it be it 12 minute a day methodology actually does. About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing. In this encore episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John explains the topic of today's episode. Do you ever have the feeling that you're “not good enough”? This question comes up from a speaker that presented to John's class at the University of Texas. Many students came up afterwards to discuss the feeling of not good enough. And John realizes that's a feeling many people probably have. The source of this is that we are all wired for survival. It causes 75% of our thoughts to be fear-based. And we're reactive rather than proactive on our important agenda. That's exactly why people feel like they're not enough. You're hardwired to feel like you're not enough. Why would you feel any other way.John and Kelly going to talk about how your morning routine has the potential to override being wired for survival. And wires you for success. Your morning routine has to do something to take control of your mindset. One of the big problems today is we live in a shallow culture. Driven by social media and the flip through nature of social media. Using the think it be it 12 minute a day methodology, from the conscious mind standpoint, it causes a person to have a deeper understanding of himself. From that conscious mind understanding a person logically sees that they are good enough. But the real key is the subconscious mind programming. When you feed every day that you are good enough and the reasons why, it overrides being wired for survival.About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing. In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John explains the topic of today's episode. Your spirituality – you can re-create who you are. John talks about his class at the University of Texas that he is currently teaching. He's re-creating 36 lies with intention. As he pointed out to his class, who you are today is a function of good influences and bad influences. That's created good attributes in yourself and some negative characteristics that you would want to change. But all that happened by happenstance. Very little of who you are today was created with intention and clarity. As John points out to his class, let's start with a blank sheet of paper. Let's create the ideal you. And then once we do that with the conscious mind, let's feed it to the subconscious mind. So that that's who you actually become. As reflected in your thoughts and actions. As John pointed out in this podcast, the same process would apply whether you're 20 years old, 40 years old or 60 years old. So the power of this 12 minute a day methodology as your new morning routine allows you to impact your spirituality and literally re-create who you are. Affirming all the good things and eliminating the bad things. As John points out, this methodology is like crisper for the soul. In the podcast John talks about how this is all about proactively manipulating the subconscious mind. That's what the top book in the world on success, Think and Grow Rich, is all about. John gives examples of how one proactively manipulates the subconscious mind. In this episode John also updates our listeners on the AI algorithm that he has that is used to customize his life GPS template to our listeners unique life. The newest addition is incorporating chatGPT at the suggestion of Tony Esposito. Now chat GPT is becoming part of the algorithm itself. As an example, using the algorithm you have to answer a series of questions. And those questions have word limits. If you go over the word limit, you can now bring chatGPT into it to give three versions of your answer that fits within the space limitations. And you can pick the answer you like the best. Big time saver. You can also use chatGPT to literally answer some the questions and see if you like the response. The big take away from this episode is that you can re-create your identity using this 12 minute a day methodology. About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing. In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly talk about the power of using questions to influence people. Kelly has built her business career around asking great questions. It plays out throughout her life. John talks about using questions to influence people regarding embracing think it be it. As an example, sometimes he will ask a person how do you create success in your life. That's a question they probably haven't been asked before. And so after a minute or two of stumbling around looking for the right answer, it becomes apparent to both John and the person that they don't really have a way of creating success in their life. Then John asks the killer second question. How's that working for you? John then politely and respectfully gives them the answer. It's not working out as well as you would like because you're just winging life. You don't actually have a way of doing life. When someone asked John how he creates success, he has a pretty clear answer. Your daily actions determine your success in each area of your life. 95% of your daily actions are unconscious. Therefore I gain control over my unconscious daily actions by feeding the succinct articulation of my life to myself each day. That rewires my autopilot. And causes the right actions happen automatically without thinking. And I have a powerful force pulling myself forward to my desired life. John gives another example. Oftentimes he will say that the most significant thing he ever learned in his life is that 95% of a person's daily actions are unconscious. And so he will ask the question to someone as to whether they believe that or not. More often than not, they say they do believe it.Then the second killer question. So what are you doing about that? Do you see the profound implications of that? The Takeaway is using questions are profound. In the last half of the episode John and Kelly talk about this idea of deep thinking two times a week. A powerful technique that is part of the think it be it methodology. It's a three-step process. The first step is just sit down and write in your thinking tablet anything that comes up for the first 10 minutes or so. Then the second step. Figure out a question to ask yourself. Usually regarding what your biggest challenge at the moment is. Then the third step is to recap what you learned and defined the action steps. John and Kelly discuss in the think it be it methodology this ongoing dance between the conscious mind and the subconscious mind. The deep thinking technique two times a week is influencing the conscious mind. Then the daily reading of one's visualization is impacting the subconscious mind. In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly talk about the most significant things they've learned this year. For Kelly, it was reaffirming her resilience. For John, it was learning the disc profile. Understanding that he is a D. He's an action taker and does things fast and is focused on tasks. Whereas John's precious wife Ginger is a C. She does things slow and is a perfectionist. Also focused on tasks. This has been powerful in John's life to understand this because we all have a natural tendency to think that people who don't see things the way that we see them are simply wrong or inferior. Not so. They're just processing information differently. Appreciating this subtle difference is powerful. And so the takeaway lesson is take the disc profile and understand the personality type you are and the personality type your spouse is. And understand your weaknesses so that you can compensate for them. During this podcast John also talks about the things he learned from his class at the University of Texas. So many interesting things. Most people didn't realize they are WIRED FOR SURVIVAL. And the effect of that is that 75% of their thoughts are fear-based and they're reactive rather than proactive on their important agenda. The other big thing they learned is that 95% OF THEIR DAILY ACTIONS ARE UNCONSCIOUS. And one's daily actions determine your success in each area of your life. And as John points out to them, the think it be it 12 minute a day technique is an actual way of doing life. And what could be a better way of doing life than applying the central concept of the top book in the world on success to your life. The bottom line, it gives you an edge in life. In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly explain that the mind thrives on order. And when you feed the succinct articulation of your life to yourself each day you create immense order in the mind. And as Kelly points out, it makes you feel lighter. It causes all those half thoughts that are going on in your head to either go away or become full thoughts. To drive home this idea that the mind thrives on order, John points out that's why you enjoy music. A few years back, John learned how to play blues guitar. And in the process of doing so, he learned the timing in music. So in this podcast, he plays the song Billie Jean by Michael Jackson. Explains the timing and then counts it. This is a vivid example of how the mind thrives on order. To wrap things up, John makes a point of how one's success in life as well as one's enjoyment of life comes down to the thoughts that are going on in your head on an ongoing basis. So simple but many people don't get this. But for the few that do, it's life-changing. The think it be it methodology influences the creation of your thoughts.About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing. In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly explain the think it be it methodology. They make the five core principles profoundly simple. It starts with what determines your success. It's your daily actions. That's it. The cumulative effect of your daily actions determine your success in each area of your life. Then the second principle. The significance of 95% of your daily actions being unconscious. If your daily actions determine your success, and 95% of your daily actions are unconscious, if you don't gain control over those unconscious daily actions, you play the game life at 5% of your potential. It should be so obvious that your subconscious mind rules your life as well as how you feel about yourself. Then the third principle. Conscious mind versus unconscious mind. Conscious mind sets the intention and is influenced by logic. Subconscious mind controls your everyday actions and ongoing thoughts. Influenced only by repetition. The classic example is losing weight. Conscious mind sets the intention to lose weight based on logic of the health benefits. But people often times fail to lose weight not from lack of intention. But rather from not influencing the part of them that controls their daily actions of exercising and controlling what they eat. The subconscious mind. The fourth principle is the impact of being wired for survival. It's three things. 75% of your thoughts are fear-based, your reactive rather than proactive on your important agenda. And you're profoundly resistant to change. If you do nothing in your morning routine to override being wired for survival, you live your life fear-based and reactive. The 12 minute a day morning routine overrides your innate programming. Instead of having an antiquated operating system gearing your life to be fear-based and reactive, let's install the 21st century operating system the wires you to be productive, creative and happy. But you have to put in the software every day. Takes 12 minutes a day. Then the last concept. Your subconscious mind is either your greatest asset or your greatest nemesis. Since 95% of your daily thoughts and actions are unconscious, obviously if you gain control over that it's your greatest asset. Alternatively, if you don't and you allow yourself to continue being geared toward survival, meaning the vast majority of your thoughts are fear-based and your reactive rather than proactive on your important agenda. And you're highly resistant to change, it's clearly your greatest nemesis. About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing. In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, Kelly explains what she would tell the 20 year old version of herself regarding how to be successful. She starts out talking about the immense power of being a grower and a learner from a young age. Her dad turned her on to reading when she was 13 years old. And that's where she got it. And it played a significant factor in her life. Approaching life from a curiosity standpoint and learning whatever she could. In seeking people with wisdom beyond her own wisdom. That has been the hallmark trait of Kelly Hatfield. The other advice she would give the 20-year-old version of herself is to understand how the human mind works. When John taught Kelly the think it be it methodology when she was 44 years old, it was life transforming. The key thing she learned was that 95% of her daily thoughts and actions are unconscious. Once you really think about it and appreciate the profound implications, your life is never the same. John and Kelly talk about how lots of people understand this at a surface level. But do nothing about it. But those that really get it, and see its implications, are all about learning think it be it. During this episode John talks about the impact of the think it be it methodology has on one's identity. He talks about how we are all created haphazardly. Things have happened in our life that were both good and bad that has created good traits and bad traits. And we were raised by our parents in a certain way. But virtually none of it was intentional.Even how our parents raised us was largely unintentional. They just did the best they could. And how we were raised was certainly unintentional from our standpoint. We had nothing to do with it. That's why it's so cool to be able to re-create yourself with intention and clarity. Create the IDEAL YOU. Then when you create that in the CONSCIOUS MIND, you feed it every day to the subconscious mind through repetition. Then that identity is who you become. Because that's when it impacts your thoughts and actions automatically without thinking. About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing. In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John welcomes back Steve Prendergast as a guest on today show. It was Steve who came up with a line that your subconscious mind is either your greatest asset or your greatest challenge in life. John and Steve bat that idea around. And John points out that the fact that a person is wired for survival is the biggest thing a person has to overcome. And he makes the analogy using higher forms of life coming to earth. If there was a higher life form that came to our planet and observed our planet, they would observed that human beings are wired for survival. And therefore they are fear-based and reactive. But in looking at modern society today, it looks like humans have a pretty cushy life. There's nothing threatening their survival on a daily basis. They all want to be successful and happy. But being fear-based and reactive is exactly the opposite of how they need to be in order to be productive and happy. These enlightened aliens would likely say -well let's just fix that and let's go into their DNA and reprogram them. We learned how to do that light years ago. The Takeaway from that story is that you can wait for enlightened beings to come to earth and reprogram you or you can take the responsibility for reprogramming yourself for success right now.John then goes on to make a key point. The methodology that he has created is an ACTUAL WAY OF DOING LIFE. NOT ANOTHER STRATEGY. But an actual way of doing life. It takes 12 minutes a day. And from what John can see in the success and human achievement field, nobody else is providing that. And from that way of doing life, which takes 12 minutes a day, you override being wired for survival. And you turn your subconscious mind from being your greatest nemesis into being your greatest asset. Giving yourself immense control over yourself.About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing. But most of us are ingrained to just work harder. Big mistake. But the natural question is how do you work smarter? At the end of the day, it comes down to understanding HOW THE HUMAN MIND WORKS. In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly discuss why this 12 minute a day technique works. John opens the discussion by saying that it's a combination of two things. It gives a person immense control over themselves. But that is coupled with intelligent success strategies. John points out that when he was in his 50s and was blessed to make 25 times the 200 – $300,000 a year he was making the prior 20 years, it was happening because of the immense control he had over himself. But it also included being able to implement key strategies. Such as being highly organized. Planning his day the night before and time blocking his days. Also setting aside time each week to deep think two times a week. Also being a conduit of learning. Where he had a system where he would listen to great content an entrepreneur needed. Such as marketing, employee empowerment, time efficiency. He also focused only on what moves the needle. Of course all that was reinforced in his life GPS template. So it was a combination of knowing the right strategies to apply coupled with having immense control over himself that caused his income to go up so much. During this discussion John and Kelly talk about how most people are disappointed that their intentions oftentimes don't turn into reality. That's because they are only setting their intentions with their conscious mind. The subconscious mind is responsible for the doing. And since 95% of your daily thoughts and actions are unconscious, you have to influence the subconscious mind. Otherwise you play the game of life at 5% of your potential. John also talks about how the life GPS template has the maturity of a 50-year-old built into it. At the end of the show John and Kelly talk about your thoughts going on in your head most the time determined not only your success but your enjoyment of life. In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John explains the topic of today's episode. In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John explained the topic of today's episode. The creation of your thoughts – you can influence it. And John presented an interesting concept. The thoughts that are going on in your head on an ongoing basis determine both your level of success as well as your enjoyment of life. No one denies that. But what's interesting is you can influence your thoughts when they are created. Let me restate that. When they are created. And here's the opportunity. 95% of your daily thoughts and actions are unconscious. The fact that they are unconscious is actually the opportunity. Because if the opposite were true, and the majority of your thoughts were conscious, it be impossible to control your thoughts. But the key thing to appreciate is that since they are unconscious, that's actually the opportunity. The vast majority of thoughts actually originate in the subconscious mind. And by properly programming the subconscious mind with the succinct articulation of your life each day, exactly what you want to accomplish and how you're going to accomplish your goals, that's the repetition that influences the subconscious mind. That's what then causes the right thoughts to happen at their creation. Which then in turn causes the right actions to happen. But the big take away from today's episode is that you can influence the creation of your thoughts. The other big take away is that 98% of people don't do anything to influence their subconscious mind. That's exactly why so many people only use their conscious mind to set intentions. Then they are puzzled as to why those intentions never turn into reality. Well it's because they're not influencing the part of their brain that controls their actions. The subconscious mind. Therefore the needed actions don't happen to turn those intentions into reality. All that is fixed with our 12 minute a day morning routine that influences your mindset. More specifically influences the creation of your thoughts in the mechanism that is generating your thoughts. The subconscious mind.About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing. And what you're feeding yourself starts to show up automatically without thinking in your thoughts and actions. Once you begin doing this, three things happen. Essentially the law of attraction.About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing. We're excited to announce the evolution of our podcast! Formerly known as "Think It, Be It," we're now rebranding as "The Missing Secret Podcast." Curious about why we made the change and what's coming next? Tune in to find out! This week, we're revisiting an insightful episode: Human Nature – We Are Not Wired for Success. In this episode John and Kelly talk about human nature. How humans are wired for survival, not for success. And that plays out regarding the negatives in human nature. We tend to be self focused, we tend to be reactive. As humans, we tend to be lazy. We tend to be unfocused. Easily distracted. That's human nature. But there is some good to human nature. We have an innate desire to help other people. And John made an interesting point. That all the negatives regarding human nature are all related to being wired for survival. By being wired for survival, that's what kept us alive 5000 years ago when there was a danger around every corner. It causes us to be fear-based and reactive. Which is exactly the opposite of how we want to be if we want to be productive creative and happy. During this podcast John and Kelly point out that you have to intentionally and proactively override human nature if you want to be successful. And you do that through the think it be it 12 minute day morning routine.About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing. In this episode John and Kelly explain how to use our life GPS template after you have created it from our AI algorithm. Where after you answer about 50 questions, you press a button and our template is customized to your unique life. In this week's episode, we explain actually how to use the life GPS template. Kelly mentions that she reads her visualization every morning and also listens to it. John explains that each morning he just listens to it. Right after he wakes up, he puts on his headphones and listens to his visualization in his own voice. Using a cool app called speechify. John talks about how powerful this is to just close his eyes and listen to his visualization. One day a week though, he reads his visualization. In order to stay connected to that. In this episode John and Kelly both talk about the huge impact it has to feed the succinct articulation of your life to yourself each day. John talks about how it allows him to have a great marriage. If his wife Ginger ever says something irritating, John focuses on just noticing his irritation. Before he speaks. What a game changer. During this podcast John and Kelly talk about the big picture of how success works. Your success is already in your head. You have to just mine the gold. And John shares a profound idea. Are you happy with the life you have created? At the end of the day, other people are not thinking about you. So all that matters is what you think about your own life. Are you happy with the level you're playing at. Are you happy with the life you are creating? About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing. In this episode, John and Kelly explain how to use our AI algorithm to customize our life GPS template to your unique life. They start out by recapping the science we learned last week. Kelly explains the reticular activating system. How it's the filter for the brain. And how important it is to give clarity to that filter regarding what you want and how you going to get it. John then explains the human mind. The conscious mind versus the subconscious mind. The conscious mind sets your intentions and is influenced by logic. The subconscious mind controls your daily actions. It's only influenced by repetition. John goes on to say that 95% of your daily actions are unconscious. The significance of that is that your daily actions determine your success in each area of your life. So if 95% of them are unconscious, if you're not influencing those unconscious daily actions you're playing the game of life it 5% of your potential. So after John and Kelly get us back up to speed on the science, then they explained the life GPS template. We are creating immense intention and clarity about your life. The secret of think and grow Rich is what you envision in detail, with emotion, on a daily basis is what shows up in your life. What that means is you define exactly the person you want to be, exactly what you want to accomplish, and precisely how you can achieve your clearly defined goals. You put all that on a template. That's what allows you to feed it to yourself and only take 12 minutes a day. The template also applies the science of the human mind. And then once you feed the succinct articulation of your life yourself each day, after 21 days the right actions start happening automatically without thinking. John goes on to say that the life GPS template is 20 years in development. Has included some of the wisdom of the top experts in the world of sport psychology. Then John and Kelly get into how to use the AI algorithm. All you have to do is answer 50 questions and then with the press of a button, your customized template is generated and downloaded to your computer. But keep in mind, you probably won't knock out the 50 questions in one sitting. Take a few days to do that. John goes on to say that as an example, one of the things you are ask is what is your strategy for success in your career. Take 75 words to answer that. But it takes some thinking about it. Next week, once everyone has generated their template, we will show you how to use the template to change your life. About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing. In this episode, John and Kelly talk about the fact that your success is already in your head. More specifically your success comes down to the relationship you have with yourself in your moments of solitude. When your head is on the pillow at night. John says that the most significant thing he ever learned in his life is this. That 95% of your daily actions are unconscious. Here's why that's significant. If your daily actions determine your success and 95% of them on are unconscious, then clearly your subconscious mind determines both your success in life as well as your enjoyment of life. So you have to gain control over your subconscious mind to have a better life for yourself. And the subconscious mind only response to repetition and that's the power of feeding the succinct articulation of your life yourself each day. The thing that amazes John and Kelly is that so few people in the mindset and success business get this. That everything comes down to reprogramming the subconscious mind. Because when you don't, your intentions never turn into actions. And to go even deeper on this John restates the topic today. Your success comes down to the relationship you have with yourself in your moments of solitude. And here's why. Your actions determine your success. Your actions emanate from your thoughts. Your thoughts emanate from beliefs. So here's the Takeaway. You've got the impact beliefs and thoughts because they determine your actions. That's why you have to influence the subconscious mind and here's how you do that. It's a two-step process. First you create clarity about what you believe, what you want to accomplish and how you're going to accomplish your specific goals. You've also got to determine any false beliefs you have and core wounds. All that is conscious mind. Then the critical second step. Rewire your subconscious by feeding the succinct articulation of your desired life to yourself each day. Takes 12 minutes a day. Then the right actions happen automatically and you have a powerful force pulling your life forward to your desired life. The new AI algorithm that John is creating to create that clarity and to customize our template is projected to be ready for testing in a couple weeks. So stay tuned.About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing. After spending 20 years as an entrepreneur, John was 50 years old but wasn't as successful as he thought he should be. In this episode, John and Kelly discuss core wounds. John just got back from a seven day vacation to Sedona. Went to a retreat on marriage and took his whole family. His wife Ginger, and the two kids Will and Hannah who are in the 30s. Along with Hannah's husband Charlie. It was life-changing for all. One of the key things addressed was core childhood wounds. We all have them. And they play out in our life and particularly in our marriages. So it's important to understand what your core wound is. John's core wound is not feeling heard and the fear of loneliness. Kelly's core wound is having to be a people pleaser. John and Kelly discuss how using the think it be it methodology will cure the core wound. You figure out what it is and figure out what the affirmation is to eliminate it. May also give a reason why it doesn't affect one's life today. You put that in the persons visualization. Then you feed it to yourself each day. After 21 days, believe it or not, the core wound is neutralized and doesn't affect your life. In the new AI algorithm being developed by John to customize the think it be it template to each person's unique life, John is building into the algorithm the ability to address core wounds as well as false beliefs John and Kelly go on to talk about the concept of false beliefs. The typical person has approximately 12 false beliefs that they live their life with. So it's important to understand what those core false beliefs are and eliminate them. To wrap up the show John is taking various Napoleon Hill quotes and explaining what they mean in the modern world today. About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing. In this episode, John and Kelly discuss John's new book – THE MISSING SECRET … Of the legendary book think and grow Rich. That is coming out in October of this year. John tells a story about finding a big time editor who edited the wildly successful entrepreneur roller coaster book by Darren Hardy. John met her 10 years ago. But what he didn't know until recently was that the editor, Amy Anderson, has been using the think it be it methodology for 10 years. Funny how life works. John also talks about the podcast. And how the book and podcast are so closely tied together. With the think it be it methodology, you have to give people the ability to do the 12 minute a day methodology. That's the purpose of the book. Then once they learn it, you need to support them. And that's done with the weekly podcast. Now everything is coming together. And in this podcast John reveals that the company that hosts our podcast tells us that we have 36 people listen to our podcast each week. John and Kelly talk about how cool it is to have this as our SECRET CLUB. Because we never promoted the podcast. Then John and Kelly get into the topic for the day. The search for a success formula. Kelly talks about her journey. Then John talks about his journey. Throughout his 30s and 40s he was always looking for that one thing that if you did it consistently would assure success. By 50 he decided such a success formula didn't exist. Then he discovers that it did exist in the most likely place. The top book the world on success. But it wasn't clearly stated in the book. It was buried deep inside the book. John had to figure out the secret. Then during the podcast John compares other so-called success formulas. Like the hugely successful morning miracle that encompasses six things and takes one hour to do. Also the comparison to meditation. And finally John talks about the comparison to Kelly. Who is great at meeting people where they are. But John says that's not him. He finds it very hard to do. It's like Kelly is the good cop and John is the bad cop. John influences people by being blunt and shaking them up.About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing. In this episode, John and Kelly discuss spirituality – and how that part of your life is impacted by the think it be it 12 minute a day technique. Spirituality starts by having a compelling mission statement the drives you forward. Typically this mission statement will be about 50 words long. It will also be emotional. John reads what his empowering purpose mission statement is. He says the top book the world on success is think and grow Rich. God chose me to reveal it's full secret to the world. What I've created is life-changing. And only I can give this to the world. I teach people the practical way to create the exceptional life rather than the average life. If I had learned at 20 what I learned at 50, what a difference that would've made. I'm giving people a true advantage in life. Changing the world one person at a time and one class at a time. Getting gratification internally. From seeing the specific lives I'm dramatically impacting. Plus I'm self-actualizing to level beyond what I've ever experienced before. Kelly then mentions how one's purpose needs to be other people driven. Helping other people. John and Kelly talk about meeting the well-known sports psychologist Michael Gervais. He works with the Seattle Seahawks. A few years ago John and Kelly met with him in Seattle. And he explained this concept of having each player have a powerful mission statement . As John and Kelly discuss this topic further, John talks about what he reads to himself each day regarding dealing with the frustrations with people. That everyone is a combination of their genetics coupled with what has come into their consciousness to this point in their life. Of course they don't see things the same way John does. John also talks about something that gives him great comfort from a spiritual standpoint. How he is providing personal growth to his three grandchildren once they reach adulthood. To wrap up this discussion, John and Kelly talk about how the think it be it template is a combination of specific actions as well as giving oneself perspective on one's life. In this episode, John and Kelly discuss how to create the person you want to be using our 12 minute a day methodology. John starts the podcast by succinctly explaining what our methodology is. You create immense clarity about your life. Exactly the person you want to be, exactly what you want to accomplish, and precisely how you're going to achieve your clearly defined goals. Then you feed that clarity to yourself every day. After 21 days, the science kicks in and it starts influencing your daily actions, 95% of which are unconscious. Then those upgraded daily actions create the life you want. As this relates to creating the person you want to be, the template and algorithm for think it be it gives a person a deep understanding of having clarity regarding the person you want to be. To demonstrate this, John covers what he reads each morning about himself. He describes his top three values. He affirms that he can accomplish anything he sets his mind to. He defines the personal qualities he wants an himself. In discussing this, both John and Kelly talk about how most people don't know off the top of their head what their top three values are. But when you feed that to yourself each day, you live them more. John tells a story about how this has played out in his life. Towards the end the podcast John talks about how 98% of people are misguided. Just winging life. Don't really have a way of doing life. Just re-creating their existing life. Don't have anything pulling them forward to their desired life. John points out that is not how the 2% do life. The 2% feed the succinct articulation of their life to themselves each day. That then causes the right actions happen automatically without thinking. And they have a powerful force pulling their life forward to their desired life.About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing. In this episode, John and Kelly discuss the impact of the think it be it methodology regarding one's health. Kelly leads off the discussion regarding how is has impacted her health. Then John gets into the difference between one's intentions and actually taking the actions to make one's intentions come into reality. John explains how the human mind works. The conscious mind sets your intention and is influenced by logic. The subconscious mind controls your everyday actions, and it's influenced only by repetition. Here's the example. Say you want to lose weight. The conscious mind sets the intention to lose weight based on the logic of the health benefits. But the reason people don't lose weight is not from lack of intention. They have all the intention in the world. They don't lose weight because they are not influencing the part of their brain that controls their daily actions – the subconscious mind. That's what controls what they eat and exercising on a daily basis. Because 95% of a person's daily actions are unconscious. See the connection to the subconscious mind. So the methodology makes the right actions happen automatically without thinking because it's influencing the subconscious mind. John also talks about doing a health program last year called fountainlife. It's owned by Tony Robbins. The program's goal is early detection of cancer, heart disease, or anything else that could be life-threatening. The take away John got from this is that being healthy is all about detecting problems early. Accordingly, you need to get your blood analyzed every six months. You also need to get your gut analyzed. This is done via a stool sample. Also determine if you're deficient in any micronutrients which can be improved through supplements. The bottom line of our discussion today is that the methodology of think it be it as it relates to health is that it causes the right actions to happen automatically without thinking.About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing. In this episode, John and Kelly discuss the impact of the think it be it methodology regarding one's romantic relationship. To start this off, Kelly discusses how the methodology has affected her marriage. John then explains the think it be it methodology in a nutshell. You create immense clarity. Exactly the person you want to be, exactly what you want to accomplish, and precisely how you can achieve your clearly defined goals. Then you feed that to yourself each day. After 21 days, the subconscious mind (which controls your daily actions) accept the programming and makes the right actions show up automatically without thinking. In this podcast John explains in detail some of the things that he affirms in his visualization regarding his marriage. He affirms to be flexible, patient and thoughtful. And what that means. He also affirms to make his wife Ginger feel appreciated. He affirms 2 complements a day. He also affirms their Sunday relationship talk at 8 PM each Sunday. He also affirms passion and sensuality. And what he does in those regards. He also focuses on the 20 or so great attributes of Ginger. He also affirms letting go of frustration quickly. Further, in his visualization each quarter he has a new goal for his relationship. Along with the three or four key behaviors associated with that goal. He also affirms continually making Ginger laugh – and their ongoing humorous vibe. He affirms that when she has been out and comes home, he makes it a point to come greet her. He also tells her she's a great dresser. And he honors her requests quickly. Those are just examples of some of the things in John's visualization. After John explains all this, he gives a sample of now listening to his visualization. Using the speechify app. And he uses the example of where he can listen to his visualization using his own voice or a celebrity voice. Like Snoop Dogg. It's pretty enlightening. John and Kelly then talk about the five love languages and what's most important to men and what's most important to women. About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing. In this episode, John and Kelly discuss netting over $1 million a year. Which only one third of 1% of people are able to do. John talks about when he was first able to do this in his early 50s. It happened because he had immensely more control over himself. He could do now five high-performance skills he couldn't do before. He was highly organized. Planned this day the night before and time blocked his day. He was deep thinking two times a week. He was growing intellectually, in areas that were strategic relative to what he wanted to accomplish. He was focused only on what moves the needle. And he had control over his daily actions, 95% which are unconscious. Kelly goes on to say that when she crossed over to netting over million dollars a year, it allowed her to just have more impact. Those same five high-performance skills were things she could now do consistently. John goes on to talk about how important it is that you choose a business that is leveraged. As an example, he talks about how in the reverse mortgage business he would make $30,000 a reverse mortgage versus when he sold his time by the hour as a CPA he make $200 an hour. John also recounts how he celebrated the first time he went over that magic milestone of netting over million dollars a year. About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing. In this episode, John and Kelly discuss something that Kelly actually said to John when she met him. She said she felt like there was more in the tank. She couldn't understand the disconnect between her efforts and your results. Why weren't the results better. Again, there was more in the tank that she couldn't get out. Then as John started to teach her the methodology, he explained to her why she felt that way. Your daily actions determine your success in each area of your life. 95% of your daily actions are unconscious. Therefore if you're not gaining control over those unconscious daily actions, you're playing the game of life at 5% of your potential. That's why you feel like there's more in the tank. John went on to explain that he felt there was more in the tank when he turned 50. But he also realized he just wasn't taking the right actions. The actions he was taking was netting him $200,000 a year. But when he started taking the right actions, he made 25 times that. John talks about the five high performance skills that he learned in his 50s that are reaffirmed in his daily visualization. He had to be a 10 on organization. So he created a very simple powerful system. Another high-performance skills was setting aside time to just think two times a week. The third one was using a system to bring in the wisdom of experts into his head each and every week. In strategic areas he needed. The fourth high-performance skill was focusing on what moves the needle. And really understanding what that is. And then the fifth high-performance skill was leveraging himself by understanding how the human mind works. Kelly points out that virtually every client of think it be it says that they feel like there is more in the tank when they start the process. John talks about how when he tries to influence people, he now asked them five questions. First, how driven are you? They need to be a nine or 10. Second question is how do you create success in your life? Most people won't have a way. Third question is do you feel like there is more in the tank? Then the fourth question is how important is it to play at your full potential? And then the fifth question is what is your morning routine. The lesson John has learned is that you influence people more with questions than by telling them.About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing. After spending 20 years as an entrepreneur, John was 50 years old but wasn't as successful as he thought he should be. To rectify that, he decided to find the “top book in the world” on SUCCESS and apply that book literally Word for Word to his life. That Book is Think & Grow Rich. The book says there's a SECRET for success, but the author only gives you half the secret. John figured out the full secret and a 12 minute a day technique to apply it.When John applied his 12 minute a day technique to his life, he saw his yearly income go to over $5 million a year, after 20 years of $200k - 300k per year. The 25 times increase happened because John LEVERAGED himself by applying science to his life. His daily technique works because it focuses you ONLY on what moves the needle, triples your discipline, and consistently generates new business ideas every week. This happens because of 3 key aspects of the leveraging process.John's technique was profiled on the cover of Time Magazine. In this episode, John and Kelly discuss that is on you to figure out your life. John talks about coming to grips with this when he was 50 years old. And not only did he have to accept full responsibility, he also saw that he had to figure out the specific actions he had to take to create the life he wanted. A big challenge. But then the answer appeared. It came from think and grow Rich. Create immense clarity about your life. Exactly the person you want to be, exactly what you want to accomplish, and precisely how you're going to achieve your clearly defined goals. Feed that to yourself every day. Then the right actions happen automatically without thinking. But what's significant here is that when you start with the end in mind and work backwards, the right actions to take become apparent. During this podcast John and Kelly talk about how most people are just winging life, re-creating the past. To some degree this is happening because people are shallow thinking. They're not deep thinking. That's a result of the flip through culture we live in. But here's the bottom line of what we learned today. Accept the fact that you have to accept full responsibility for your life. Not looking for anyone else or looking for external factors to change. Then you need to figure out the right actions to take. That happens from starting with the end in mind and working backwards. See you what you want to achieve and the right actions will become obvious. Then feed that to yourself every day. That's what makes the right actions then happen automatically without thinking. Profoundly simple.About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing. After spending 20 years as an entrepreneur, John was 50 years old but wasn't as successful as he thought he should be. In this episode, John and Kelly discuss the idea that the doing your best doesn't work. John discusses that when he was 40 years old, he adopted the strategy for success of just doing his best. That's all he controlled. So that's what he focused on. Doing his best. But that didn't produce big results. Then he got enlightened in his 50s. He understood fundamentally how success works. It comes down to your daily actions. And if you don't know the proper daily actions to take, even though you might be doing your best, you won't have big success. What John learned is that the key to being successful is creating immense clarity about your life. Defining exactly the person you want to be, exactly what you want to accomplish, and precisely how you're going to achieve your clearly defined goals. By defining that, then you see the right actions you take. It becomes obvious. And then you feed that clarity to yourself every day. That impacts your daily actions. And your upgraded daily actions then creates the life you want. The point of all that is that just doing your best may not have you doing the right actions, despite your best intentions. John also talks about in his 30s and 40s he was only playing at 5% of his potential. He didn't have a high level of control over himself. In his 50s he did from figuring out the full secret of think and grow Rich. And lastly John talks about how in his 50s doing his best came down to five things. Effort, focusing on what moves the needle, tuning into reality, consistently growing every week, and understanding how the human mind works. In John's 30s and 40s, he only knew to give effort. To get up at 5:30 AM each day and work hard. About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing.
