Today we have a special interview for you guys. We were able to sit down with 82 year old Claude Strother of Gastonburg, Alabama for an in depth discussion on his life & turkey hunting. At the time we recorded this interview Mr. Claude was battling cancer, and unfortunatley he passed away just a few weeks before the release of this episode. In this episode, Claude shares stories from the early days of turkey hunting, how the sport has changed over the years, and what he believes most hunters get wrong today. DC Tabbscott has mastered the art of getting permission to hunt from landowners. His system works so well, that he was able to get permission to hunt a property to hunt a 170" Alabama buck, which he ended up tagging this past season! This buck was well known in the area and DC was able to get permission to hunt property that many other hunters had been denied permission to hunt.
