: IDAC Senior Investigator Mantsha Raphesu has told the Madlanga Commission that investigator Sunil Belucham allegedly sought to lead the Fadiel Adams referral despite not being the designated investigator. Raphesu says he became concerned after noticing signs that some investigators had prior knowledge of the case before it was officially allocated. He also testified that senior investigator Brian Padayachee and a chief investigator allegedly met the complainant before the investigation was formally authorised. The commission is continuing to hear more testimony from IDAC officials today after weeks of explosive evidence about alleged failures and irregularities within the unit.

Online gambling on black-market betting sites is big business. One company, Soft2Bet, which has been licensed in Ireland since 2022, and its related entities received €600 million from dozens of offshore casinos that regulators in Europe had blacklisted or fined.For gamblers using some of these sites, it means few rules apply. One of New Zealand's most polarising leaders, the debate around former Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern continues to rage two years after her resignation. She led the country between 2017 and 2023, both the Christchurch Mosque shooting and the Covid-19 pandemic falling in her tenure. Although Arden's popularity was immense at the time, the tides have shifted within New Zealand, many questioning the actions she took and the impact they had. "Jacinda: The Untold Stories' is an unauthorised biography written by journalist David Cohen, drawing on more than 100 interviews and extensive research into Ardern's time as Prime Minister. “The ancient Greeks said, ‘count no man lest he be dead'.
